Incredible breakfast for a very reasonable price which included a drink. Friendly staff, this is hands down one of the best breakfasts in the south west. We will be back for sure 😋

Hyde Park Cafe in Paignton South Devon is a friendly cafe in the town. Very good service . We went for breakfast and all the ingredients were first class. The service was excellent and we only had the medium breakfast and there was plenty . Th price included tea or coffee and no extras and is very reasonable. We will be returning.

I was having a dizzy spell as I got off the bus and the cafe owner kindly offered me a seat until it passed. My friend and I then decided to eat here. What a find! Good selection of food on offer, at an affordable cost, and the food was absolutely lovely. We opted for one of the breakfasts on offer & it exceeded our expectations. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The cafe is clean and tidy. We will definitely return. My dizzy spell did us a favour!

Simple just like me, order you food at the counter or take, quality not skkmoy measures and always a lot of interaction with customers. Great place to go for a sneak breakfast to set you up for the day.

Good cafe at very reasonable prices, friendly staff good food. The down side was the gents toilet. It was appalling it was the filthiest blackest bog I have ever encountered. It was so bad that I didn't even risk washing my hands because the sink, taps, soap were filthy with grime and the toilet bowl was black, I have never seen one like it.

Amazing friendly staff! Me and my family been coming here for years every year on holiday for the last 10+ years, always welcoming and always hot! We travel over 200 miles for this cafe and would do everyday if we could. Highly recommend! The prices are so reasonable so you don’t break your bank

I've walked past this cafe hundreds of times but never ventured inside. One day last week I did and liked it so much I went back again yesterday. The food is good quality, the prices ridiculously low and it has a nice welcoming feel possibly more akin to a genteel club than a cafe. It was busy yesterday and while I could have sat alone outside I took the invitation to share a table with one of the (five or six times per week) regulars and enjoyed that rare commodity these days: conversation with a stranger. Yes, a nice little cafe where you can sit alone and watch the world go by or share a table and put the world to rights. Go there soon, I shall be.

Very nice experience. Got many recommendations to visit here, and I’m happy I went. I got the mini breakfast (my first English one), filled nicely. Staff was very friendly and helpful even though the place was packed. When I come back to England I will be back here for sure

We have just returned from a break in Paignton. We visited Hyde Park Cafe for our breakfast. We enjoyed it so much we returned each morning we were there. Good food, great prices, and the owner is a very friendly chap. The mega full English breakfast kept me going till dinnertime! Nothing fancy, just a great traditional high street cafe. Highly recommended. Will definitely return.

Never coming back here again. Had the roast chicken The chicken did not look very appetising. The veg was rock solid and the potatoes were burnt

On a short break in devon. Went in for a good old fry up and was not disappointed. The food was cooked to perfection. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Went back again 2 days later as so nice. Would of gone for a 3rd visit but had to go back home urgently

Doesn't look much from the outside, inside needs a lot of TCL but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the food or service in this little place. The owner and staff always seem pleased to see you and make you feel very welcome. There is a good choice of food on the menu and the prices are very, very reasonable!. If you are ever in the vicinity give them a try...I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

This cafe is amazing, I am a regular to this place, and the service is super with the food/prices are great. I really do recommend this cafe, I am completely shocked about the previous bad review, as for one I know 100% they do not offer online ordering so they have got the completely wrong place!! This review needs to be taken down! Amazing in every way, this will be forever the best cafe in Torbay!

I got my drink and it was mostly ice and the cup had a hole in it. They gave me a smaller cup as a no ice replacement. They charged us £5 to deliver it to our table from ordering online

this cafe is a must to visit in hyde road, a small cafe but a big value in food.the owner and staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble. we always use it when we go to paignton and the the roast dinner is to killl for only fresh vegetables and meat used, and presented lovely and really hot. i must to visit you will enjoy it.

Was looking for somewhere local for breakfast, and came across this place. Wow is what I can say. The food was incredible, you get a great size portion for the amount you pay. Staff were also so friendly and helpful. Its nice to see that there are lots of locals that visit this café, this is enough to know that this place is great!

Paignton is where we holiday each year, so we like to find places a little away from the buss of town , this place is great, resonably priced and the food is graet , we breakfast here if our accomadation doesnt provide it , also afternoon tea is fab.

Superb food at great prices service 1st class friendly staff had breakfasts and lunch. Staff couldn't do enough for you bigger than it looks from outside more seat's at back.

Its nice to pop into this lovely little cafe on Hyde road, staff are very friendly and I love the full english! Its making my mouth water now just thinking about it! Its certainly good value for money. This little gem is well worth a visit!

Found this cafe after looking for somewhere for breakfast after a long drive. The food was nice. The staff very attentive and happy. nothing was too much trouble. Good value for money too 6.95 for a mega all day breakfast. No faults.

I have been going to this cafe for years and I have never had any complaints the staff are very friendly and helpful they will change any meal to how you would like it like my breakfast I always ask for extra bacon no egg and no bread and a coffee with hardly any change to the price I try and go at least once a week the prices a nice and cheap

Really really friendly staff. Nice food . The art work displayed and sold for customers (for free ) makes this a really quirky place to sit and eat or have a cup of tea . (Added to the fact you can either take the Hyde road entrance of the park entrance .) Oh and the prices are great too !

First time visit here and what a lovely friendly place, the young man who served us couldn't do enough. The place was roomy and clean. But not forgetting the delicious bacon rolls with plenty of bacon 🥓, really yummy and good value.

Excellent service, above and beyond! When my elderly mother poured too much vinegar on her chips by mistake, waiter had observed and offered to make more chips for her! Also brought us bread and butter, though not normally provided with the fish meal. Excellent value for money and tastes great too - freshly cooked to order.

Good food, great prices, and the owner is a really nice chap. Always very friendly and welcoming. The mega full English breakfast always sees me through to my dinner! Nothing fancy, just a great traditional high street cafe. Highly recommended.

We often frequent this establishment and have a nice cooked breakfast and a coffee each, the breakfast is very good quality and is nicely priced with a very polite and helpful staff.

We called whilst on a day trip to Paignton, couldn't belive the value for money offered on the specials board.

This lovely little cafe caters for all tastes. It can be busy but that is a good sign. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. It is a regular haunt when we are in town and fancy a quick lunch. Good food and good value!
