The Dock in Torbay

Myself and 5 friends booked to eat here on a wet and windy Saturday night. All of us are certified carnivores and booked here specifically as they had a range of steaks on the menu. We were disappointed to then be told that they only had one left and that we would have to order something else. Having said that, everything we did order was delicious.

Visited this morning 21-01-2024 for breakfast. My husband had the full breakfast and I had the veggie breakfast. Mine was one of the best veggie breakfasts I’ve had. Always a winner for me when it’s a vegetable sausage and not fake meat. The coffee was also excellent. Our spaniel enjoyed his sausage and dog treats. Highly recommend. Thank you

I always visit this lovely cafe when I am staying in Torquay. Cosy cafe over looking the harbour. Food is always fresh and tasty. Lovely staff, Ashley is always so welcoming and friendly.

Went in for lunch. Nice venue, family-friendly, cozy ambience. Food was really good. The wait was unexpectedly long (>30mins), particularly as there was literally only two other tables occupied at the time. However, was worth the wait in the end.

Lovely food and cocktails, great atmosphere and to top it off staff were brilliant, friendly and very attentative. Well worth a visit if your in the area

Popped in whilst visiting Torquay for a weekend. We both had toasted sandwiches, I had a bacon lettuce and tomatoe, impressed with plenty of bacon a nice big slice of a beef tomato very nice bread too. Hubby had an equally good ham cheddar and Red Leicester again plentiful and both served with a tasty salad garnish. Fast and friendly service and impressed to see tables sprayed and cleaned after each sitting. Will deffo go back when in area

Four of us visited for a late lunch, friendly, smiling staff who were working hard and on the ball with service. We sat at a table with a great view of the harbour and all enjoyed our meals and drinks. Very good fish finger sandwiches, lovely bread and a very tasty side salad, also blt sandwich and a burger great too. We will return.

First visited this pub in October 2022, then called Lulu's, not long after the current management had taken over. It was a bit shabby but very welcoming. Visited again this year to find the pub has been re-branded as The Dock. This place has been transformed but has retained the staff ethic of good friendly service that goes a bit further than most similar venues. It is still a bit shabby chic but is also still obviously a work in progress. It is very dog friendly, which was a bonus for us. The pub now has quite an extensive menu. We did not eat here, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked very appetising. Would recommend and look forward to visiting again in the future. Give it try - the staff here deserve your support for the effort they are putting I to make this place a success.

Can't believe this is the first time I've visited the Dock! Highly recommend this lovely place for food drink music and laughter, will be returning soon.

Their happy vibes rubbed off on everyone. Staff are so smiley and happy. Food excellent on a busy Bank Holiday Sunday. Been here a couple of times with our 2 miniature schnauzers and always made so welcome. Perfect! Thank you xx

We didn’t eat but the food coming out looked very appealing. We had cocktails, which were very good and we liked the vibe of The Dock. We sat outside watching the world go by right next to the quayside. We will definitely be visiting when we return to Torquay

We just had came off ferry from brixham felt a bit peckish so popped in here it’s a lovely wee place a lot to choose on the menu but we opted for 3 small Tapas Spanish crisp Cauliflower and Jalapeño Poppers and Potato’s Bravos very delicious it was washed down with a few beers Great views only downside for me is Toilets are up steep stairs you just got to be careful would go back to the dock 10/10

Evening drinks with family while here on our annual holiday in Torquay. Welcoming to families with children in a chilled out relaxed environment. Lovely staff. Beautiful place and the music is chill out tunes - so much so I had to ask the playlist as it was just so serene and beautiful!! The gin list is fabulous and I love the way the fruit is frozen !! Ace place as popular . Well done to this establishment it’s just such a lovely place :-)

My family and friends had breakfast. Great views of the Marina, super friendly staff and excellent food. They do a great kids full English breakfast. Best breakfast I have had in Torbay! Highly recommended

Great spot for breakfast! My family and I were recently visiting Torquay for the day and were recommended through a friend to try The Dock. We had an amazing cooked breakfast, delicious, fresh and presented beautifully. The vegetarian version was equally amazing and the children even had a mini cooked breakfast which they loved. Staff were attentive, the atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, nothing was too much trouble!

Beautiful location looking right over Harbour . Top food and service. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Torquay.

We went to The Dock for an evening meal during our recent holiday. It was absolutely beautiful, the steak was lovely, and really well presented. My partner had a green Thai curry which was also very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place.
