The best restaurants in Berry Head-with-Furzeham Torbay South West

We went for bottomless brunch for a 60th birthday, booked quite late but they were so great! Made us feel really special and the food was absolutely delicious! We went for the bottomless brunch option which included great food and great wine. Jennifer was amazing and it was the highlight of our trip. An absolute must of you come to Brixham!

Brilliant breakfast. Its a cosy cafe with a big welcome. Lots of breakfast choices, all freshly cooked. Quality ingredients.

arrived at 3:50. told last orders were at 4. Quickly tried to order coffee and cakes. Rudely told that the cakes had been moved to the kitchen and we could only have coffee.

Excellent value and great food. Food is quickly present. The staff are lovely I have not been able to get to a dessert but they are all traditional and lovely.

Yet another lovely breakfast here! We love it and it is our go to place for breakfast now! The food is so tasty and freshly prepared. We are lucky enough to have this gem on our doorstep but if you're visiting make sure you give it a try! They do take out too!

Best birthday meal in years! Fabulous food and service!! We were greeted at the door with lovely smiles and seated immediately.All the food we ate was a total delight and served in exemplary fashion...nothing too much trouble! They appeared to actually enjoy looking after you!!

Afternoon tea with my wife for her 70th birthday. Prebooked with Jan. Food was absolutely first class (epic scones Dave) and plentiful. Came away with a box full of cakes. Nothing was too much trouble for Jan with decorations to match the occasion. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Always have a great time, friendly staff and regulars. The outdoor area is great especially in the summer. The live music bands always make for a great atmopshere too. Will try a pizza the next time i am there on a Thursday!

Stopped for a quick lunch. Staff very pleasant. Food good. Service quick. Good sitting outside by the Quay

Best ice cream we had tested and a very large selection of different flavours and the staff were very polite and friendly 😀 😉

This place is a Must visit. I had a sweet chilli sausage roll and a biscoff cake both were amazing. I also had a lovely coffee. Will definitely go next time I’m back in Devon

We visit Brixham every year and always see this place when going to The Manor but never dared to go in as we didn't feel we knew enough about wine. However this year we decided to be brave boys and go in! SO SO glad we did! We both tried mystery wine flights and were honest that we would not be able to tell the grapes or countries, just which ones we likes. The owner was exceptional, he guided us on the wines, explained why we might like some and not the others, reccomended other wines to try based on the ones we liked and at no point made us feel "stupid" for not knowing the ins and outs of wine tasting etc. He reccomended a book to us which we have already ordered. The food is fantastic, just perfect to go with a bottle of wine or two, especially the manchego! We left very happy and with a bag full of goodies from the deli section along with a bottle of wine. CANOT WAIT to go back!!!! Thank you!

Having experienced Richard and Angela’s previous restaurant in Exeter we really wanted to visit their new venture in Brixham. The first thing to say is The Chart Room is the most wonderfully unique environment in which to enjoy an evening meal. Covered in all kinds of maritime memorabilia from floor to ceiling (including the toilet) it is the ideal setting for a harbour town such as Brixham. The attention to detail doesn’t stop there though. The tables are laid just right, the cutlery and glasses are spotless and as a front of house host Angela is simply an expert. Both welcoming and attentive (but certainly not in an intrusive way) everything is done to make your dining experience a relaxing and pleasurable evening to remember. Of course, even with right setting, atmosphere and clientele a restaurant will either stand or fall on the quality of the food served. Have no fears - Richard is clearly nothing short of a culinary genius. The passion he has for his craft shines through - the presentation of the dishes are first class, the food is cooked to perfection and the taste…WOW!! We traveled approximately an hour each way to get to Brixham solely to visit this establishment and we certainly will be doing so again. No doubt on several occasions. You really can’t get any better than this.

A great treasure to find and well worth it fantastic service, great food also brought fantastic QE2 model as former crew member, owner went above so I could purchase the QE2 model

Been here before and all wonderful but an now a massive convert to their golden latte and cakes which I've not had before. Lovely cakes and they will share their recipes! Even better the dog also got a pot of sausage to eat. Both very happy.
