I took my son and nephew for a Sunday Roast on the 16th Feb as a treat. We chose The Prince William because it had excellent reviews, also it is open all day & evening, so you can choose when you eat, a lot of places only serve Roasts during Sunday lunchtime, but we prefer to eat later. The food was delicious with plenty of it. The men had meat, which they said was lovely and I had the Nut Roast, which was one of the nicest I have ever had, plus the vegetable were really good. We loved the décor and the ambiance - the staff were most helpful and friendly. We will definitely go there again, but it's a wee bit pricey, but worth it, so maybe for a special treat. Thanks.

We stopped on a sunny day for lunch and were really impressed by the gluten free BLT. Great quality gluten free bread used and packed with filling! Also had a lovely gluten free version of the shakshuka and a (non gluten free) ham and pickle. All really good and would definitely come back. Only improvement would be to offer gluten free chips too!

Independent business locally owned but able to offer great sized portions, freshly cooked to order food, at reasonable prices compared to some local chain competitors who believe they can charge extortionate prices such as £17 for cod and chips to take away! Of course tomorrow’s fish is still in the sea…. Without mentioning names. The food here to take away, or eat in will not disappoint you, or leave you £100 out of pocket. Looking forward to our next visit.

This restaurant is a gem, located with an amazing harbour view. The service was amazing and the food exquisite. A very good menu and the food was cooked to perfection. The ambience is relaxing and comfortable, exceptionally clean. Attention to detail was second to none. Could not rate this restaurant highly enough- thank you for a lovely evening.

Visiting friends in Brixham. Booked for a Saturday night. An imaginative but not too complicated menu. Fish is super fresh and beautifully cooked (thank you chef) Extensive a la carte menu and generous choice of specials. Comfortable and cosy inside. Friendly and efficient service in this tiny indoor restaurant. Only about 16covers indoors so would recommend booking ahead. In summer there’s a large outdoor covered deck. Parking was easy in car park off Berry Head Rd. Would love to visit again one day

What a lovely atmosphere in The Birdcage. We walked in and a small band were playing which was nice, love a bit of live music. The pub has a great layout with the music set up at one end and TV the other. We only popped in for a soft drink and ended up watching the footy . Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Will definitely pop in again for food. The menu looks great and reasonably priced. See you soon 😊

Stopping off for morning coffee was a very different experience to when we visited the same week for evening drinks and was excellent (reviewed separately). The wait for the drinks to reach our table was unacceptable and when they did arrive my cappuccino was mostly froth, very little liquid! My husband said he heard the lady on the next table saying exactly the same thing. Wouldn't recommend for coffee. A pet hate of mine is when cakes are displayed without prices as was the case here.

Sat inside because it was too cold to sit on the terrace, I'm sure that would be very pleasant when the weather is warmer. Really tasty food, pasta was perfect. It was busy, but no delays and overall excellent service. Ate here on a Saturday evening, and very glad we booked because every table was taken.

We visited for lunch and each had a drink and panini. The paninis were toasted but the cheese still wasn't melted. They were also a bit expensive for what you got - no side salad or crisps. We were given a pot with sauce sachets, but when we opened a English mustard it was a funny colour and the incorrect consistency. I probably wouldn't return here for lunch again.

We visited The Bay Coffee Company during a February half term holiday. We popped in as a family for coffee and cake! This is the second time we’ve visited in the last 12 months. It’s always popular/busy, cakes were lovely and staff friendly. There’s only one toilet at the back of the cafe and there was urine all on the floor when we arrived. Doesn’t really reflect the cafe (more the people that use it) so just put some tissue down and used the facilities! Would go back!
