The best restaurants in Berry Head-with-Furzeham Torbay South West

With plenty of choice of places in Brixham this was a good value fish and chips restaurant close to the harbour. The second floor dining area window seats give a nice view whilst enjoying the good value fresh fish and chips.....daily special was just over a tenner..:-)...we experienced good service from friendly staff..

One of the scrumptious fish and chips I have ever had in Devon. The ambience of the restaurant is breathtaking and the service was excellent. It was a lovely and fast service here.

What a treat. We were looking to get some traditional fish and chips while staying in Brixham for the Pirate Festival. Well we weren't disappointed! We decided to eat in and had a wonderful seat by the window so we could watch the prep on the Friday night. Great portion size for a good price and amazing fish. So nice we came back the next night. Will definitely come back again the next time we are in Brixham.

Located adjacent to Brixham harbour with inside and outside seating. I had an excellent grilled whole plaice, and my friend had delicious mussels.

A perfect location for holiday goers in the torbay area, super friendly service, special thank you to Mike for a memorable experience. Food is always top-notch with speedy service and always a good pint. The Prince William has always been a welcoming location for our trips away to Brixham harbour.

Having spent almost a week in Brixham and visiting most of the obvious nice dinner locations I can honestly say this one was by far the best. The service team were very good and as the front of house team gave a good impression. The restaurant was very well decorated with the customary nautical theme and looks high calibre, from the professional menus, good quality cutlery (we've seen some obvious "it's only a fork" mentality) to the well decorated and clean bathrooms. All high standard. The food was excellent. Both starters and main meals, very very high standard. If you are looking for 'fill a hole' fish and chips, this isn't your place. But if you want high standard food then this is the place. We will be back.

From a lovely friendly welcome to the minute we left, a lovely experience. The choice was great with added specials and on a lovely warm sunny day like to day, eating outside was perfect. We'll certainly be back soon

Booked for Saturday dinner. Got to the restaurant only to find it had been closed for months. They kept sending us reminders about our booking as well. Disgraceful.

Can’t say as didn’t have food but the bar man was a nice chatty Irish guy

Gorgeous cream tea and the scones were slightly warmed. Best coffee of our holidays and courteous staff. We can’t fault anything we had. We even stayed for another cuppa. If only we lived locally as I’d come back again

Went to Liberty in the morning for coffee- nice and reasonably priced. Then went twice in the evening. First for some gin and tonic - - great selection. Then afterwards for some amazing cocktails. Truly superb served by attentive staff. Will defo come again

100% reccomend this place. The owner is staff are lovely and very welcoming. The food is brilliant. My husband had a burger and I had lamb koftas all food was cooked fresh.

Not often do I leave a restaurant saying ‘EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious’ but I did here. We had a selection of tapas for starters and it was all delicious! Then we had a mix of pizza and fresh market fish, and again, everything was amazing. We had turbot and John Dory and it was just so good! I really left this place feeling wowed. Worth booking as it is small. Both indoor and outdoor seating, and dog friendly. Very clean!

Popped in here several times during our holiday in Brixham. Staff excellent and the pub very cosy. Had Sunday lunch which was excellent, highly recommend it. We will return.

We’d just arrived in Brixham, after a long journey, and were looking for fish and chips to enjoy on our first evening. All shops in the harbour were closed so we headed out of the harbour area and spotted David’s. The team were so lovely and accommodating; we didn’t realised they’d meant to close 10 minutes before we’d arrived until a regular let us know and we so appreciated this gesture from the team at David’s. The portion sizes are great considering the price points on the menu and the quality of the food is fantastic. We loved our experience so much that we returned again before heading back home; would 100% recommend!
