The Prince William in Torbay

Wow!!!! Unfortunately we hadn’t booked, but they very kindly found a space to fit the three of us in!!! The service was fantastic, but the food, amazing!!! Great selection from fresh fish to pizza’s, they cater for everyone….. I have to say, please try the chicken pie, absolutely stunning!!! Everything fresh, couldn’t fault anything, the cakes and gateau’s as you walk in, starts you off with the thought of,” let’s get the main course out of the way, I want all of those!!”, my family went with the pizzas and there was nothing left, clean plates!! Great atmosphere, lovely friendly staff, nothings too much trouble, and the food is excellent!! Really look forward to trying other things on the menu…….

At 12pm me and my family decided to go to The Prince William place for some lunch. The Prince William is a waterfront pub and restaurant with alfresco terrace, located on the Southwest Coastal Path. With amazing views out of the window, seeing the beautiful sea. Overlooking both the Brixham Harbour and Marina. We have been to this place before me and my mom, but the menu has definitely changed since the last I been there. But can tell you that the menu have plently of choices on then, nice options for people who love fish dishes. Nice layout of the menu and good colour themes that match with the place itself. When the four of us went inside, we were greeted by a friendly staff member. She and the another staff looked after us properly, making sure we got everything and gave us a menu each. The pub has a lovely atmosphere along with an beautiful design/theme around the restaurant. Mixing between restaurant and sealife as the lights hanging from the ceiling were stunning. I decided to order Buffalo Chicken Wings served with BBQ sauce dip along with some fries and an drink as well. When our orders came out, unfortunately the woman who was served us forgot about my fries having to mention it when everything but that came out. But it was made up after taking a bite or two of my meal. I have to say that the food was delicious and amazing, cook to a good temperature. Plently of chicken wings and definetly have to save there were a lot of fries. In the end I will come back here again when I'm in Brixham. Thank you very much to all of the staff that were working on that day.

We alway visit the Prince William on multiple occasions when in Brixham (3 or 4 times a year) always excellent food. On one occasion this time served by Holly and Parris both very attentive. My wife is vegan and naturally had a vegan dish. Parris paid particular attention to ascertaining that my wife’s meal was all vegan. Something that is not always done in many resturaunts but of course is very important to vegans and to people that may have a dairy intolerance or something of that nature Thanks very much Parris. Greatly appreciated On the Sunday of this visit to Brixham had the outstanding Sunday roast Thank you very much

We visited this lovely pub/restaurant twice during our stay. Once for an evening meal and then for their Sunday roast. The fish and chips were delicious. Tasty, fluffy chips and lovely moist fish in a very light and crispy batter. The Sunday roast was epic!!! Wear elastic aged waists! Again the food was excellent. Service was very friendly and efficient. Great that such a lovely place was dog friendly also.

We visited the Prince William for an organised social trip, there were 20 of us and we pre ordered the meal in advance. We were greeted in a super friendly manner, nothing was too much trouble and Jo who hosted us was amazing. The food was delicious and we all ahd a variety of foods, all to a very high standard. We could not fault the friendliness, food and the service. Thank you.

staff and food was really good. the issues were -when seated , the table was chest high, so we asked to be moved to a table with seating this was at an acceptable height. asked for a fish knife for their catch of the day , to be told that they don’t have fish knives, that’s like steak house not having steak knives.

Visited the Prince William on two occasions for evening meals for the family. Found the food quality to be excellent and would thoroughly recommend a visit. I personally had sea bass on one night, which was not only cooked to perfection but the accompanying vegetables we excellent and a ploughman’s (not something I would normally chose) but was equally delicious.

We stopped off here for lunch and it was amazing, the staff were so friendly and food was lovely. The place was beautiful and very modern. We walked by later on in the afternoon and it was packed ever table out side was full so would advise booking - will definitely be going back

Had a super meal midweek. Seafood Chowder. Sunday lunch meats however were very disappointing. Very thin cut and not what you would expect for a Sunday roast dinner. On the plus side the vegetables were great.

Nicely located, clean, well presented. Good Service with a smile, good food and good selection of beverage. crab sandwiches particularly good. Lovely chunky chips, soft in the middle good and crisp on the outside. over many visits, occasional small blip quickly and cheerfully put right. What more can one wish for??

Freshly cooked and piping hot. Fish and chips were great with a light batter and the steak full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Raspberry cheese cake to finish was divine. Great service from Tommy a true credit to the place. We will return again.

Family of four adults went to the Prince William for dinner, two of us had the sea bass which was absolutely delicious, the other two had the sirloin steaks which they said were very tender and tasty, our server Jo could not have been more attentive, we were surprised how good the service was especially how busy the restaurant was, will definitely go again and recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent service on a busy Easter Sunday. We were greeted and seated immediately on arrival, and our drinks order was taken promptly, followed by the food order. The food was delicious. Special shout out to Tommy who looked after us incredibly well.

The service was absolutely outstanding, we were looked after by diligent and friendly staff and an exceptionally lovely waiter, Tom! There was a wide international variety of delicious food, whilst also catering for many special diets. The food was quick to arrive, despite the multitude of customers. The indoor atmosphere was retro and fun, and the restaurant was positioned on Brixham Harbour front, with a beautiful view out to the sea. We can’t recommend The Prince William highly enough!

Beautiful location by the harbour, the Sunday lunch was so tasty, amazing quality, the beef was tender, the Yorkshire was perfect and the roast potatoes to die for! The staff were all amazing on such a busy Easter Sunday but nothing was too much trouble! Thankyou.

We visited the Prince William on Sunday 24th March and had the most amazing Sunday lunch, the entire party (5 of us) all said it was the best we’d had in a very long time, possibly ever!!! We all had the roast dinner (2 x beef and 3 x turkey) and it was delicious. Plenty of vegetables to accompany the meal. The desserts were equally as good and we tried the trifle and gateaux. Service was excellent and we all highly recommend this place

A Great Place to Eat & Drink, the food was excellent, as was the service, drinks were lovely. We liked it here so much we went back the next night, Its worth booking in advance for food. we cannot recommend The Prince William enough.

Our favourite place for dinner (if we don’t count Olive or La Petit Maison) super friendly staff and food is alway tasty and it’s the same every time (and we go there a lot.) Pablo has changed the atmosphere to a positive one and the different since he began is really noticeable and Matt is always a friendly smiley face Book to guarantee a table, however if they can squeeze you in they will. This was our first time at The Prince William and we will definitely come back the next time we’re in Devon. We were served by Jo who was friendly and accommodating on a busy sunny Good Friday 🐣 The food was fresh and delicious (cod and chips x3, calamari, cheesy chips) but the only criticism we would have was that while fresh and delicious the food lacked a little bit of flavor!

13 ex members of The BRIXHAM Museum visited again for lunch. The lunch was great, the staff were all so helpful, we will definitely Come again in the New Year. Thankyou to you all

Booked a table with our dog for drinks and ended up having the chicken wings and bbq ribs for lunch. It was amazing - the meat fell off the bone and the chicken wings were well cooked and just as tasty .. again the meat was easy to get off the bone and was not fatty but lovely crispy skin. Highly recommend this place …. Enjoyed it so much we went back for Sunday dinner. Recommend booking as it can get busy!

We visit Brixham regularly and always look forward to a meal at the Prince William. On this occasion we (and our dog) received a friendly welcome followed by efficient service from Tia and her colleagues. There is a good choice of interesting and freshly prepared food and the beer is well kept. Although this was a weekday night out of the tourist season, the restaurant was busy with locals who know where to come for tasty food, good value and a friendly atmosphere.

Great comfort food at z good price. Lots of it too. Service was friendly and attentive special thanks to Tis for her cheerful and knowledgeable service.

We always use this restaurant on our annual upturn visits to Brixham. A good selection of dishes, always cooked and presented well. Our waitress this time was Hannah, and she was excellent.

Great food as always, we only get mains as portions are generous. The chicken curry, bangers and mash, ribs and kofta were all lovely. Our waiter Tommy was brilliant too.

Bit of a disappointment - food generally OK but the service was appalling.. we only had main and then one pudding and coffee for 2 (we were group of 4) and this took two and half hours... Waiting staff showed little initiative and were talking...

Such poor food. Had a gammon sandwich which must have been made with processed thin ham from a very cheap pack. Would never come here again.
