On a recent coach trip we were dropped off in Brixham. Walked around the town looking for a NICE place to have a coffee. On our second walk around I spotted the sign for The Chart room. From the outside it looked a nice place to go so we ventured inside. We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. Showed us to a table and gave us a menu. We had a lovely pot of tea and an excellent tea bread with butter and cheese. It was delicious. Similar to Bara brith. If you like a nice place to sit and have a cup of tea. This must be the nicest place in Brixham I hope to return one day. Thank you to the lovely lady for making us feel so welcome

A fabulous stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner or just a drink. The food is great especially the warm savoury scones with onion chutney and cheddar. It's great value for money and the all the staff are helpful and obliging. It's a bit difficult to find, just look for the little alleyway behind the chip shop with a diver on the roof and you will find it tucked away there. Really nice independent cafe. Lovely atmosphere inside and seating out the front. The sweet cinnamon treat bagel was very tasty and my flat white was crafted really well (I'm pretty fussy when it comes to coffee). If you are looking for great coffee and food this place is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent value for money, lovely friendly service from volunteers. Can recommend the cheese scone with butter and the beautiful locally sourced cakes. Dogs welcome with customers. Highly recommended.

We nearly missed you. What ravishing reviews! As is often the case had been meaning to visit this fab little café but it's taken a message on Facebook to learn you're moving on. Excellent toasties today, generous fillings and delicious. Great coffee. Clearly supported by locals and regulars. Doggy friendly and thankfully no plastic plants! That alone is worth a star. Lovely team. Best wishes for the future. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

What a wonderful place. My dog and I were made to feel extremely welcome by Kerry and Freddi. Great coffee, fabulous homemade scones and cakes. Breakfasts are generous and reasonably priced. You can see why the lovely locals flock to this cafe. There is a real sense of community here. Don't miss it if you're in Paignton! 🌻
