The best restaurants in Tewkesbury South West

How about someone gets the tables cleared. Right tables full of empties with 3 people behind the counter and it’s not particularly busy.

Can only recommend the spa facilities and staff, as the restaurant experience was lacking. A member of restaurant staff was rude when we raised a query with him relating to to the drinks that we had ordered and he was rude again later when a genuine question was asked about the bill. The menu had run out of all dessert options except one (which quite frankly was not appealing). Whilst we appreciate supply chain issues these days, the meal had been booked for many weeks and you would expect a hotel of this standing to have some reasonable alterative to offer. No apology was made for this and no alternative/recompense offered (e.g. a cup of tea or coffee to end the meal). When providing feedback on check out, we were assured that a Food & Beverage Manager would make contact, they did not. The reception staff were only concerned with getting the settlement paid (despite the poor experience) with no apology for the shoddy service. We can only recommend this destination for a day spa break - as the staff and treatments were lovely.

We came here for breakfast Staff were helpful, we needed food cooked specifically due to health reasons The staff were very supportive and remembered the following day when we came again Food was served quickly and was tasty and hot Covid guidance followed

The Indian dishes taste good and are well prepared, cooked and presented. Sadly they are always late. At least 10 minutes after the predicted collection time. Also provide the wrong dish occasionally, this time a Veg Curry instead of a DRY Veg Curry. Sorry guys, we like the food but cannot be doing with it being late all the time. Time to try one of the others

The staff have on two occasions apologised and said ‘sorry our chef is useless’ Unprofessional establishment and simply unkind

Afternoon tea with family and friends Annually go to a different hotel but the first time here Saturday 11th January, 2.15pm for 6 people Staff so polite, food delicious and gave us extra Outstanding

On the positive side, the food and beverages were good (as you might expect from Greggs). Also, the counter staff were pleasant. The shop was let down by food debris on the tables and floor. I had to clean my table before I could use it. Seating outside was no better; the same but with added cigarette ends on the pavement around the tables. There are many places in Tewkesbury that serve coffee etc. Greggs will need to improve if they want to succeed here.

Tiny portion sizes on the 2 occasions I’ve been. It may be £9 for a box meal nowadays but you’ll need to grab a sandwich from somewhere else afterwards. And no wet wipes! Very poor value for money compared to other kfc branches. On the plus side it’s a clean and tidy place.

My toasted footlong sub arrived cold and falling to bits. Very disappointed.

Cómodo hotel un poco fuera de la ciudad. Recientemente decorado, pero vacío. Sin embargo la cena era muy buena. Ordenados tostado cod para plato principal y fue cocinado a la perfección con verduras frescas. Los postres eran deliciosos. Bonita presentación. Nuestra camarera era atento y conocedor y muy buena en su trabajo!

I would have given five stars as the staff are lovely and an enjoyable coffee We go most Tuesdays pensioners day during the nice weather but as soon as the weather changes we do not visit We have a lovely well behaved poodle and we are not allowed to sit inside so as pensioners it is far too cold to sit outside It would be nice if they could set up a couple of tables for dog owners inside like most garden centres have now

Better than average fish and chip shop. Reasonable prices. Decent size genuine cod served. Chips could be cooked longer and crisper though. Pity now only open Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings from 5

We use the caveat st oswolds on most days, usually for coffee and light refreshments, today we had lunch, I had a breakfast, most of it was just warm, the beans were almost cold so I took it back to the Manager and complained that it was cold and could I have some hot beans, she took the plate from me without a word , I went back to my table waiting for it too be returned but who did I see walk past the window going for a smoke was , yes the manager, my food was delivered by Debbie , The manager did not have the courtesy to come and apologise or to see if I was now happy with my food, it was hot this time, I find this a very bad attitude towards customers , we have been regular at Tesco for a number of years now, I trust someone will take note of this very lax attitude.

Pizzas are good, never have issues so far. Curries are quite good too. Loads better than the dominos in the village

Saturday at this branch is the worst for bacon rolls the rolls are covered in butter and today the bacon was not cooked properly white and smelt raw every Saturday at this branch is the same must be a different team on
