Better than average fish and chip shop. Reasonable prices. Decent size genuine cod served. Chips could be cooked longer and crisper though. Pity now only open Thursday Friday and Saturday evenings from 5

This is our first visit for nearly a year. We ordered fish, chips, battered sausage and curry sauce. The batter fell off the fish, the chips were soggy, the battered sausage wasn’t battered and the curry sauce was watery and tasteless. We’ll stick to Oxtalls’s Lane Fryer in future.

I live close to Montys but have always gone to oxtalls chippy.. I decided to try them for a change and I wasn't disappointed the chips were lovely the portion sizes were just right and the prices did not disappoint either

My friend stated that Montys is bad, but I didn't think this bad. The portions are tiny, the chips are greasy, and the fish is awful. It made us both very ill.

Monty's isn't high end but we only have food from the chippy occasionally so it's been fine for us. Tonight however most of it went in the bin. Chips were horrible. So greasy. Curry sauce was like water. We'll be going out of the village next time we fancy a chippy meal.

We have used Monty's for years. The fish and chips, sausage, pies and curry are always good. We have tried a few chip shops in the area and the chips are the best from here. Fish sizes are variable, quite often there isn't much in it in a small fish or a normal fish. I also notice on when they select the fish, they give out "pnis portions" (if you know what I mean). Great if you're a guy or you're not afraid to be cheeky and say "give me that fish."

Last Friday for the first time in over a year we went to Montys to get our tea, it is Take Away & cash only, we ordered a portion of Cod Roe and a Chicken & Mushroom Pie with Chips, the only comlplaint was with the Chips, when we got home we found that they were so greasy that the wrapping was saturated with fat, we ate some but threw most of them away as they were horrible, all I can say we wont be going back again. It is a pity as someone else has mentioned this used to be a really a good chip shop.

Unfortunately this is our local fish and chip shop and it is so hit and miss that we no longer use it. More often then not the battered sausages and fish are so over done it's like eating rocks! This place has a good reputation, which I never experienced.. Lucky there is another fish and chip shop not too far away which is much fresher and much more tasty.

This fish and chip place serves the best fish and chips around. I often go in once a week and the service and staff are excellent. I have never had bad chips from this place, well worth a visit.

Fuimos allí para mi cena de cumpleaños y tenía una agradable velada. La comida es cara pero merece la pena. Tuve un lento cuchilla de cocinar de carne que estaba delicioso. volveré para más la próxima vez que tienen una buena excusa.

Really good value food and always a couple of real ales to go with the usual lagers etc. We all plumbed for the panini's with two generous portions of chips and it was very good. Nice salad with our meals coupled with a nice view across the airport. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly return shortly. Thanks for the excellent service. Probably best to book a table if there's a group of you but a great viewing area outside with benches and picnic tables.

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay here, location is fantastic, right opposite the abbey, with the weather so good we were able to sit out and watch the peregrines flying around. The staff were all lovely and friendly, as were the people of Tewkesbury in general. We had dinner and evening meals here which for the most part were nice, we were disappointed with one of the breakfasts, the full English, it did say 2 sausages on the menu but we only got one, we would have said something however the sausages weren't that nice, my other half's looked like it had been cooked then reheated, the fried egg wasn't runny either. It filled a gap and that was the main thing. The room was basic - enough for what we like - just somewhere to sleep, I found the bed nice a comfy. The shower is powerful, which was lovely, a decent hairdryer as well which makes a change for hotels. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

The advert showed that breakfast was included. However upon arrival we were told it's not included and never has been. When we showed the information to the receptionist, he was not interested and said it's a third-party site, so it's not our responsibility! He offered to pass our comments on to management, I'm not holding my breath! The standard rooms are very small, fortunately we only booked for one night. The mattress is very thin and hard, like sleeping (or not) on the floor. There are some positives, rooms was clean and has plenty of plug points, and thankfully the WiFi is good, as phone service is not. This is not the fault of the hotel. So, would stay here again, absolutely NOT.

I was drawn to Sainsbury's as I had some voucher to spend on a £60 shop. I most often shop at lidl or Aldi and found Sainsbury's really expensive, even when compared to Tesco. Also, there was only one assisted checkout and all the others being self-service. This is pitiful given the amount you are spending. I won't be rushing back.

This review for Badham Pharmacy at Aspen medical centre. Really needs to train staff. I would give O star as staffs were V v rude. There were two young ladies in front, one with light blue frame glasses and another one with silver nose pin, they were shouting to me for no reason even I did not ask how long I need to wait for prescription, I was just in queue and was noticing them their work and they were showing much attitude to customers and were arrogant. I had two another customers waiting in queue for prescription and Badham Pharmacy staff were taunting me by looking at me that we will have to wait as people are going to McDonald's and KFC they obviously wait for half an hour so they will wait here as well. Even though my prescription basket was ready, I was looking that for appox 15 minutes and she was not giving to me. When I remind her basket is ready and it is there she said you have to wait as I am busy with another things. Why????? Even if, it is in front of customers how long it will take to give customers. They made me wait for so long. Such a ridiculous ladies. No manners to behave with customers. If doctor hadn't sent my prescription there I would have never go this Badham Pharmacy. Moreover she was expecting thank you from me, when i didn't thank her she was shouted " excuse me say thank you " Thank you my foot to such staff.
