A good size store with plenty to choose from and loads of parking

This Sainsbury's store is situated in a very convenient location, surrounded by a variety of other shops. The store features a home section at the entrance, and the signage for the different sections is clear and easy to understand. Inside the store, there is an Argos store, a Specsavers opticians, a travel money booth, and a cafe that offers reasonably priced hot and cold foods, drinks, and snacks.

Good selection of everything I needed!

Excellent service as usual. Shelves were a little bare. The black posts in the car park would benefit from reflective tape.

Had an absolute mare from start to finish. Won’t be going back in there again.

Good items but STORE is so FREEZING that I would get frostbite before I find something to buy.

Good for standard shopping.. definitely need to do the smart shop or you're in a long queue even if it's the self scan queue..

Have just popped in specifically to get pickling vinegar which I had been unable to find locally to me in Evesham or Tewkesbury. So thought of Sainsburies and hey ho I still couldn’t find by myself until I asked Shirley. She went out her way to be helping me search but had a good idea where to find it. Her friendly manner and helpfulness is a credit to this store! Promised I would mention her in a review just 10 minutes ago. I very rarely come to Cheltenham but this store is immaculate with good parking and it’s got staff like Shirley : ) Many thanks

I can this is the best sainsbury in Cheltenham. They have everything you wanted but I would have been more happy if there’s a fitting rooms for TU clothing

Overpriced, old and dated, unclean and did I mention it's OVERPRICED.

Staff are nice and friendly, logically laid out, but recently lacking in a fair few essentials... Bit of a stock issue? Perhaps a sign of the times... Mainly fresh fruit and veg

Typical supermarket with free parking for 2or 3hours.

Nice and quiet about 8:30pm when we visited. Well stocked shelves. Very clean.

It's got a good choice of products. Prices are on a par with other supermarkets. Staff can sometimes takes customers for granted.

Nice big supermarket, well stocked, efficient & friendly staff, huge car park with recycling area plus various additional units inside including an optician, key cutter & the cheapest petrol station around.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of groceries and products including fashion and homeware. Sometimes the bakery selection isn't well stocked.

Expensive but some good products

I went here to pick up a package from Sainsbury's (Argos). Nobody was waiting so I was given the package in a fast, efficient, and reliable way. There's plenty of places you can lock your bicycle up. I like the fact that each business park has on boards the stores that are in each. If you're a driver, a massive carpark is there for you.

Good car parking and good shops around it. Considering it is a very big supermarket, it does not have as much stuff in there as you would have thought. As I have gone in there and they have not had what I needed and their answer was not every store does everything as because of the size. All that spare space and building work and for what.

Decent sized store that is well stocked.

What can you say about Sainsbury's? It sells things, mostly comestible, and competes with other large shops selling similar things. (I can not tell a lie. I was actually buying a new kettle at Argos, which is situated in Sainsbury's, Gallagher Retail Park.)

Never more then 1 checkout open- often none open in the evenings. Deeply disappointing to be queuing 6 customers waiting to pay

Dirty toilets and unhelpful staff.

Visited there today for their bakery as its a sunny day and wanted rolls for a barbecue. Bakery closed, nothing fresh.

Always get what you want at fair prices. Excellent supermarket chain.

Our weekly shop seems to be getting more expensive each week !! even though we are trying to shop .one wisely.

I'm not really sure what to put here. It's Sainsbury's. It's fine. You can your shopping here. If you've ever done grocery shopping, you know what to expect.

expensive,just like most big supermarket they prey on the people with medical issues by charging a arm and a leg for gluten free products, c'mon sainsbury's you gotta understand alot of people can't afford these prices, give your head a shake and sort it out, stop penalizing people who have health problems

I love sainsburys clothes range and the fruit and veg is always good here. The down side is customers toilets are disgusting, 1 toilet broken and others were filthy and paper every where floor wet about time they sorted and gave these a make over !

Go here for regular grocery runs. Always find everything I need. Ample parking and toilets are decent.

More expensive than most other local supermarkets and less till staff than managers strutting around planning the next renovation....

Good selection of food ,veg,fruits,meat,fish nice clean store have sanitizer by the entrance good selectionof Pizzas as well as lovely fresh bread more suppliers of ready made meals good selection here now lot going on at this store making a lot of changes in and out of store

Quality has gone low, prices are ridiculously high. Nectar points are all that's worth shopping for.

Lovely food store nice staff nothing to much trouble for them

The shop has a good sized car park. Went in the café once and the food was good and very reasonably priced

How the poor staff work in this store I don’t know. It is freezing. The ladies toilets are the worst I have ever used. Always dirty. Always one or two out of order. Only time I visit now is if I have to go to Argos otherwise I avoid

Usual experience. Not enough checkout staff. Why a business would do everything it can to delay taking my money is beyond me.

I shop between 08.45 - 09.45 and the cooked food counter is not available. I shopped today 25/4/24 and only 2 terminals were working in the in-store scanned checkout one of which was occupied by a customer who had been waiting for someone to authorise her alcohol. The queues for the scanned in store check out are always too long because there are not enough staff or at least one most often two of terminals are not working. I have shopped at this store since it opened but the customer experience has declined significantly with staff appearing indifferent and uninterested.

Never enough checkout staff they need to remove some self service till as staff watching for theft really shows it's a folly

Extremely helpful friendly staff and they normally have a good selection of items on sale. But don’t leave it too late in the day if you want some of the fresh items. The bakery really makes it worth getting up early for with a good selection of freshly baked items. Warning, do not try their Nattas, they are really addictive!!

Lot's of parking Very big shop Other shops around it. And food bars

It's a supermarket. Not that much more can be said. Ample parking. The quality you expect from Sainburys. Plenty of other shops nearby as it's in a retail park.

Great location to nip in for what you need, big store clean and handy

The place is spacious and comfortable. Sainsbury card works in the shop and fuel service station.

Since the refit of this store which was needed, its as sainsbury's used to be selling top quality products and spacious Isles and the home section is just wonderful to look around at reasonable prices

More expensive *unless have vouchers not such good variety.. also undergoing refurbishments and hardly any veg and no fruit...but lots of flowers!!! Only go if going to argos in the store

Tanya was awful on the "help" desk. Didn't understand the problem and refused to help. Will not be returning. Tescos is it!

Long queue, not enough tills open, trying to force you to use self service. The toilets are always disgusting. No paper, floors are always very wet, wet tissue over the floor and smells disgusting

A decent sized store with an abundance of foods, clothing & an in-store bakery, There is an in-store specsavers & a Timpsons just outside Lots of free parking

Awful service for the last two grocery deliveries. Last week 7 items missing from the delivery and today all frozen items missing. Also every day items are substituted on a regular basis, suggesting that either the pickers can't find the item or the shelves are not being stocked regularly. No fault of the delivery drivers, as they are always very helpful, friendly and polite.

Sainsbury's Cheltenham Expensive prices, empty shelves at 5 pm. Indescribable mess in the toilets, broken doors, no paper and soap. Avoid. I do not recommend even to enemies.

Typical supermarket. Watch the offers! Always check the price per 100 grams etc. It's amazing how what looks like a special offer is actually more expensive than the standard price in a slightly smaller (or larger) pack.

A large store complete with an Argos. Loads of parking and a large selection of produce in store.

Nice and quiet and a very helpful staff member by the name of Cory in TU clothing went above and beyond.

I have used your store for many years but your policy of closing check outs in favour of digital shopping has made me convert to Tesco and Lidl . On Thursday 14th Sept. you had one check out working and 5or6 customers waiting whilst the digital section had three assistants This is not service to your regulars so I’m moving on Andy Alexander

Always been a good shop but shame it lost its cafe

Visit here once a month or so and usually enjoy the experience. Toilets are usually a bit naff but there you go. Visited early on a Saturday morning and most of the tills are self service which are a pain!. Sainsbury's: you are ripping the soul out of your shop. So sad Didn't enjoy the technical, no human contact experience. I will be shopping elsewhere in future. Somewhere I can talk to a human and say good morning, how are you.
