After a long walk we arrived just before closing. We asked if they were still serving coffee and they welcomed us in. Very friendly staff. Lovely cafe. Scones delicious. Would definitely go back

Nos topamos con la vieja panadería en busca de un vino caliente en un día de mucha tormenta. La intención era tomar un par de copas y luego volver a nuestro alojamiento para prepararnos para la cena en un restaurante diferente. Lo que en realidad sucedió es que terminamos amando la vieja panadería tanto que cancelamos nuestra reserva de cena, nos quedamos toda la tarde y cenamos allí en su lugar! El personal encantador, el espacio acogedor y la comida maravillosa era exactamente lo que queríamos y todos estábamos de acuerdo en que sin duda nos traería de vuelta a Winchcombe en el futuro! ¡Gracias!

Best Indian food I've eaten, everything was gluten-free, and the flavours were fabulous. The staff were great too, we had a lovely experience here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience having lunch with friends at the Tipsy Egg Deli. The staff were very friendly and polite with nothing too much trouble and immediately brought water for our dogs. The food was delicious, especially the salad choices and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the Tipsy Egg Deli to dog owners and will definitely be returning.

We wanted to experience everything that the volunteer-run railway had. We were pleased with the restaurant at Winchcombe, one of the stations on the railway line. I chose a coronation chicken roll, which was full to the brim with small chunks of chicken in a delicious sauce. I said 'full to the brim' but none of it squeezed out onto my hands. I loved it. The tea was freshly made. The staff (not 'staff') volunteers were friendly and informative. We liked their waistcoats too!

Excellent,good portions,very tasty food,have recommended it to many friends.not eaten in their yet ,large open area may not appeal to all.

A very cosy cafe with drinks and soups which are perfect for cold days! We especially recommend the hot chocolates, as they have the most delicious marshmallows & cream😄 Thank you

Es una lástima que este pub tenga un mal servicio al cliente. La señora detrás de la barra no podía hacer frente y decidió sacar sus frustraciones en pagar a los clientes. La otra señora del bar era sin embargo, educada y eficiente, que es lo que un buen pub necesita. La cerveza era buena y bien cuidada.

Visited 18/8; staff were excellent! Professional and friendly and super efficient too! Coffee is three sizes which is great for choice.

¡La comida de café más increíble! Calidad y presentación Michelin Star a precios increíblemente razonables. Me encanta cocinar en casa y soy bastante capaz, pero la calidad de cada elemento / ingrediente de cada plato traído a nuestra mesa, incluidos los jugos de manzana frescos, estaban más allá de lo que podemos producir en casa, y esto es exactamente lo que esperamos experimentar al comer fuera - inspiración y una experiencia! Tres vítores a la excelencia en la cocina, personal alegre que nos trajo tanta alegría en el acogedor comedor del café. No hay nada que fallar aquí, volverá, no puedo esperar, ¡qué joya de lugar!

Had lunch here while on our day out at the steam railway. The cafe is situated behind the station building and in the carpark. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. The food is good and reasonably priced.

I love Laytons. It feels like a 'modern' fish & chips - and I mean that in a complimentary way. Always lots of locals in here, and the food is always good. A definite must for people passing through

Lovely views into the Cotswolds; outdoor tennis court available! Properly set up for safety/ Covid measures - friendly service, decent beers; and very good lunchtime menu - we had hoisin duck with pancakes; tortellini (veggie); coffees to follow. We sat in roomy understairs of pub; Conservatory did NOT look safe in terms of number of tables/ people packed in to space. Therefore suggest choose table near to entrance area

¡Un placer absoluto de un desayuno en The Greasiest Spoon! Fuimos allí como parte de un grupo de siete que estaban acampando para el Festival de la Cerveza de Cotswold, y necesitaban prepararse para un día de alcohol, ¡y no decepcionaron! Fui por el desayuno carnoso, y siento decir que mis ojos eran definitivamente más grandes que mi vientre, y no pude terminar el plato a pesar de ser uno de los desayunos más sabrosos que he tenido en mucho tiempo! Crédito al personal y propietario que nos atendió brillantemente. Volveremos aquí el próximo año cuando estemos en la ciudad de nuevo para el festival de la cerveza. El mejor desayuno en Winchcombe. Gracias de nuevo La cuchara más grasienta (aunque el desayuno definitivamente no era grasienta : - ) !

This was a wonderful experience to have the 7 course menu. We loved every mouthful, it was just bliss. We haven’t stopped talking about it. I rarely give reviews but this was worth one. It was very lovely service and a great cosy Christmas village ambiance too.
