After a long walk we arrived just before closing. We asked if they were still serving coffee and they welcomed us in. Very friendly staff. Lovely cafe. Scones delicious. Would definitely go back

We called in for coffee in Winchcombe whilst walking the Cotswold Way as we wanted to sit outside. Very convenient cafe on the trail. Good coffee.

We were visiting Winchcombe and decided we felt a bit peckish but didn’t want a huge meal. We went around looking at the pub menus but all we fancied was something light like a scone and a coffee which the pubs only seemed to serve from 3pm. We saw the sign for this tearoom and we decided to take a punt and go in. We are so glad we did because the menu was perfect! It offered a variety of light lunches and fresh scones. So my husband and I shared a ham and cheese croissant and an apricot scone with jam and cream. Both were divine! They even cut the portions in half for us and served them in individual plates which was very convenient and thoughtful. I don’t know why more places don’t serve savoury filled croissants. They’re very hard to come by on a menu and yet they are a delicious change to an ordinary sandwich. The only thing that could’ve improved things slightly was to offer a salad dressing for the salad garnish instead of plating it dry. The staff wore masks also and were sure to keep socially distanced which was reassuring. Especially when no where else seems to be taking covid precautions anymore. We will definitely return when visiting Winchcombe.

Popped in for a delicious slice of cake of which there were several mouth watering choices. Washed down with a pot of tea. Staff were friendly and attentive but not over eager. Thoroughly recommend.
