Tabu wine and cocktail in Tewkesbury

This is a lovely find tucked away in the new quadrangle on Gotherinton lane. Just popedin for lunch and so pleased I did. Everything was fine and they deserve a few more visitors

I would highly recommend this lovely place, such friendly and accommodating people and a lovely atmosphere. We held a 70th birthday party there on the evening of 5th April and really had a lovely time. The cheese and cold meat platters were freshly prepared, well presented and delicious. The cocktails were great and the service outstanding. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Tabu.

Great little find, the perfect place for drinks with friends. The new owners have really improved the service, quality and overall experience. We tried the disaronno fizz, summer in glass and one we'll be returning to have. Whilst we didn't have food this time, we will be returning to have soon. Heard they'll be hosting greek pop up etc so exciting times ahead for this cute little venue.

Lovely late breakfast. Enjoyed the salami and cream cheese on bagel with scrambled egg. Relaxing music, nice and chilled.

Really lovely place for drinks and cocktails. Staff were friendly and there was a nice atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable as well.

Visited on a Sunday. Lovely warm welcome and served very quickly. Food was great when it came out. Coffee was excellent, one of the best in the village. Will be returning

First visit since the reopen, cocktails very overpriced and zero atmosphere.

Breakfast very overpriced! No hashbrowns or black pudding either! Cocktails are ridiculously expensive and not that great, place should of stayed closed.

Wow ! What a lovely place. Nice decor and atmosphere but more importantly what a fantastic breakfast. Hubby had the full English and I had the vegetarian both were beautifully presented and tasted amazing, with really fresh ingredients. Great value and the staff are really friendly and welcoming will definitely be back. 5* thanks Tabu 👌

Decent price, really tasty food - can recommend the Sticky Chicken Stripe. Service with a smile. Will be visiting again when we get a chance.

My wife and I had a fantastic Easter Sunday lunch yesterday. The food and wine were lovely in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more and will recommend to friends.

What a wonderful place, lovely coffee & professional friendly staff.

This has been decorated out to a high standard and looks absolutely fantastic, plenty of seating areas and staff came to take drink orders relatively quick and must say the alternative to the malibu was really nice ( bit of a malibu snob and don't usually like any other/similar items) but this one was perfect. Orders were then taken for food once drinks had been brought to us and we waited about 20 minutes but you could tell it had all been cooked fresh. Absolutely love this place and can't wait to visit again very soon to try out some more of the incredible menu.

I won’t be returning until they install proper kitchen fume extractors. Most of the menu is fried goods and it makes being in there like sitting in a chip pan.

Great little cocktail and tapas bar in Cleeve. Cocktails are excellent, food is delicious and the staff really friendly. Great service too. A new favourite place for us.

Lovely bar with friendly staff. Good food and a great range of cocktails. Looks like a swanky niche London bar tucked away in our small village. Have been to a couple of live music events and a quiz or two, always a pleasure and will definitely be back

We went last week for a date night, we were told after 25 mins there was a problem in the kitchen and did we want more drinks, which we had to pay for. Took 45 mins for the first course of tapas to come, and by the time mains came I wasn’t hungry. Staff where polite but didn’t offer anything for the terrible service, three young men where on, and I could see into the kitchen no chef for a Friday night that’s surely not okay? No cocktail choices either which is strange for a cocktail bar in dry January. Been three times before and I can’t say my experience was much better. First time the food advertise they didn’t have and the second time took a good 25 mins for food to arrive.

Had breakfast here in January 2024. Amazing large breakfast with delicious coffee. Nice staff and decor. Will be coming back!

First visit to tabu in bishops cleeve, smart looking modern bar/restaurant with good food and drinks. Staff very friendly would definitely recommend.

Came here in the summer with my partner. I would say the drinks were pretty good, my margarita was nicely presented and tasted good. Atmosphere was quiet but it was a midweek evening. Where I was disappointed was the food. We ordered quite a few tapas dishes and weren’t really that impressed with any of them. The bread came with a butter that had marmite in which didn’t taste good, as marmite is such a distinct flavour it might be best to put this on the menu. The fried chicken wasn’t good, very overcooked and dry. Just nothing was that good, and it was quite expensive for the quality. We are Cleeve locals so may try it again but probably just for drinks.

Friday night at tabu! Such a great bar, lovely staff, great food, amazing cocktails! Was so busy but the staff held it together, must he hard to keep smiling when they are so busy but they just nailed the service 100% recommend

Definitely worth a visit to this up & coming venue. Fresh modern decor, friendly atmosphere with efficient service, nice choice of high quality food & drink including a range of cocktails to explore. Great value for money, would highly recommended & will definitely be back for more.
