The Chow Shed in Tewkesbury

I've only visited once but the food was fantastic and the staff are lovely.

Very popular with the Orchard trading estate workers, looks like many put in orders in advance & then just collect. They are lucky to have such a great cafe! Only had time for a quick bacon butty and mug of tea sat outside but both served up just how I like it!

I work round the corner and call in to the “chowie” near enough every day, the food is amazing with large portions and reasonable prices…. Don’t sleep on the specials board as you can always find hidden gems here.

Nice little eatery on a industrial estate, that does bacon with everything,if you like bacon this is the place for you, I highly recommend this place

We have now had breakfast here several times whilst staying at the Winchcombe Camping and Caravan site nearby. Fabulous quality food and plenty of it. My husband’s favourite breakfast spot. Very pleasant staff. It was a shame we only stayed overnight en route to and from our holiday in South Devon, but we hope to get the chance to call again. Keep up the good work ladies, you are doing an amazing job. If we lived nearby we would definitely be regular customers. (By the way the menu is extensive, not just breakfast, many choices for lunch too).

A little gem of a cafe, we had a repair booked in at the Porsch garage opposite and decided to go for a late breakfast. Quality food, quality portion size and quality ladies behind the counter. No carpets bells and whistles, but if you want an honest bit of nosh, it’s one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in years. Top job ladies.

Great place to eat. Friendly Chatty staff. Excellent variety of food. Only negative is my toast disappeared once.

Friendly and quick service. Really good range of menu options at reasonable prices. Only downside is seating is a bit limited with it being so popular. They do do a phone order service though. Recommended!

I'm astonished at the last review. All I can say is take a look around, see it's busy, and have a little patience! The staff at the Chowshed go out of their way to make sure that customers are looked after. I have only experienced fine service there. And when it is busy, the high quality, homemade food is always well worth waiting for. Thank you Girls

Great food usually Absolutely useless customer service 3 members of staff and completely ignored despite having made a telephone order so not to waste time, as they made no attempt to acknowledge my existence I assume I must have been invisible, thankfully my super power had worn off by the time I got to the local shop as they could see me Get a grip of how you take and deal with orders

Just had a very nice cuppa tea in there well waiting for my mot so clean and tidy and the two ladies in there are very nice and friendly I will definitely be going back there to try the food

We just popped in for a quick breakfast. Beans on toast and scrambled eggs on toast. All the ingredients were top notch. Good bread. Tasty tea. Lovely latte. Nice ladies serving. Perfect TBH.

Amazing breakfast, great staff, be hard pressed to find a better breakfast for less than £7.50 absolute bargain. Good quality, local ingredients, this surly is a diamond in the rough. Definitely visit again.

Very nice thought a bit expensive but good breakie

The food here is absolutely amazing. Plenty of it and well cooked . Staff are lovely , smiling and very chatty. The only thing to criticise about is that it's so very small in there and unless you get there at the right time you have no chance of sitting down and eating and because of this we won't be going back which is a real shame

Nice fried breakfast, at a very good price. Very quick and polite service. Definitely not a greasy spoon cafe. Good motorcycle route. Definitely stop here again.

Over the road from our business. Lots of our customers go for breakfast. Food is lovely. The daily specials are great and the cakes superb.

Since June retired Becky has done a fabulous make over and continued to turn out meal after meal. It’s a real ‘find’ if you’ve never been to Toddington Industrial Estate. I’ve recommended it to chaps wanting breakfast after hunting, chaps eating before a shoot etc etc. You won’t be disappointed. Lilly the visiting dog even has her own box to sit in whilst her owner eats here. Well done. Keep up the good work.
