An absolutely stunning bar/cafe, great selection of food and the waitress (who was new) was lovely. Loved the art work for sale on the walls, would love to come again to experience it in the evening. 10/10.

This place is great! They very kindly let me hire out the whole place for a party. Austin and the team made us all so welcome. The vibe was relaxed and chilled. The food made by Hetty was fantastic. All my guests loved the venue referring to it as ‘a hidden gem’. A real asset to beautiful Winchcombe. I would highly recommend a visit if you’re visiting the area.

Left a very sour taste Please read this and learn from it. Wanted to visit the Cotwolds since a child, aged 53; brought our teenage family over. Recovering after a long and difficult 2yr illness, uncertain I'd make the holiday. Delighted to have made at least one Cotswold town. Saw your beautiful bakery. It looked perfect for us was greeted by a very friendly girl, had the perfect girl serve us, friendly, kind. The sun was finally out and as a family enjoyed this precious moment listening to the birds. My husband paid for the the bill . We gathered to leave . Chris and the boys were only out the door when I was launched, charged at by a very rude woman who forcefully and repeatedly shouted if I had paid my bill, in the most concerning manner. She did apologise but the damage was done. 1. I am not the sort of person who would never pay bill. I was totally appalled in the manner I was spoken too. Our holiday will cost about 8k . We are eating out every day , breakfast, lunch and dinner. We buying locally and investing in community. 2. I don't know what sort of people visit here but you could I recommend asking the question in a different tone or wording. You sadly were my final experience of Winchcombe and the Cotswolds. Based on the other girls, the Old Bakery is a 5 review. To the other lady I suggest talking a holiday before your holiday season starts. I'd recommend Strangford Lough were we live, were people are decent and honest. I wouldn't like to think you ran towards my family and forced yourself on me hearing our accents. If that is the case. Ireland welcomes you, hosting and tourism is what we do best I hope you use this review to learn from. To the other girls you were just the tonic our family needed. Sharp tongues leave lasting impressions.

What an amazing place! The location is absolutely beautiful and the food is incredible. Also very reasonably priced for the quality you get! I had to ask for the recipe for the anchovy tapenade because it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. We will definitely be coming back. Amazing.

Went for a coffee which was delicious. Good flavour. We had toast and jam which was really good as it was good quality jam not like the little plastic containers with jelly inside. The toast was crisp which was nice as lots of cafes are making toast in the sandwich press and it comes out as flat as a pancake as the steam can’t get out, well that’s not toasted bread, but this was really nice. we had cherry and almond cake which was delicious. It was really fresh and you could taste and smell the ground almonds in it.. The staff are lovely and the cafe is well presented. Cakes under glass domes not open on the counter which isn’t that hygienic. This cafe gets top marks from me. Please note it doesn’t open Sunday Monday or Tuesday at the moment.

Popped in for lunch and received a lovely welcome from really friendly staff. Our Labrador was allowed in and was made to feel welcome too. very comfortable interior, typical of a Cotswolds building, with a conservatory at the rear. What we particularly liked though was the menu, which offered something different. We opted for the charcuterie board, which was delicious and one of the wonderful homemade cakes. Good value all round.

Popped in here for a drink while staying at the White Hart next door while walking the Cotswold Way, before heading to our evening restaurant booking. Lovely setup, great decor, fabulous selection of drinks and though we didn't have any food, what we saw being served looked good. The owners were very friendly and chatty and very enthusiastic, having made the escape from teaching not too long ago. Would definitely recommend and if ever back in Winchcombe would try the food as well.

We decided on a family trip out during half term and stopped off at Winchcombe to go for a walk with our pooch. We came across this lovely coffee shop which we stopped off at for refreshments and a bite to eat. As soon as we entered we felt very welcoming, the owners were very friendly. The interior was full of charm and character with a very relaxing ambience. We all had paninis and cake which were extremely tasty, the coffee was also lovely and the cappuccino I had was spot on! They allow dogs which is plus. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be coming back.

My husband and I are frequent travelers to Italy, and big fans of the food. I confess I didn't have high expectations when we saw this restaurant in Tewkesbury, but we loved it! My husband had an excellent charcuterie platter, which if all about the quality of ingredients, and I had a very yummy pasta with lemon sauce. We even had dessert, which we never do at lunch. If we'd been staying in Tewkesbury instead of just there for the day we would have eaten there repeatedly.
