The best restaurants in Coombe Hill Tewkesbury South West

Walked in at 4pm on valentines afternoon, we asked for a table for two ( we had traveled long and far) to be told they don't serve until 5.30. Not a problem at all we decided to wait and have a few drinks. Kristie was very welcoming and added our names for a 5.30 table. We sat in front of their beautiful roaring fire and and an hour and half flew by! We were seated at 5.30 precisely - we ordered a few starters and our mains. What can we say? We were blown away and the quality of the food and atmosphere, we done all, we throughly enjoyed our afternoon and evening. What a beautiful little honest pub!!!!! Don't pass it by!

Visiting the area.. didn't have a clue where go or how to get there. Phoned and spoke to James who was brilliant and gave us massive help with public transport. Food and service was fabulous. Steak pie and hotpot both great. Bus stop just outside to take us a mile back to the campsite.. would recommend. Fantastic hosting.

Always great food. Huge menu to choose from and all cooked fresh to order and served promptly. Not the prettiest of buildings but always an enjoyable experience.

Didn't eat on this visit as arrived too late but previously had great food and service. Love the outside barn seating areas. Even felt like summer in February. Thank you for providing the camper stop. It's really appreciated.

The owner gave us an amazing experience!! Best porky belly I’ve ever had and such a friendly atmosphere it felt like home!! If you’re even remotely close I would recommend going 10/10

Lovely food, very welcoming. We were a party of 9, everyone's food was excellent. Great service, good price. This is my 2nd visit, need to book in advance. G F option's

Disappointed pub will shut over the winter

We stayed at this Premier Inn three times over this year for my husband to attend the hospital next door. Twice the appointment was cancelled and as we would lose our money if we cancelled the hotel we visited the city. We had our meals at the restaurant and each time we had exemplary service from Bethany, Jack and on the last occasion Louise. they were very welcoming and we couldn't fault the meals at all. They worked so hard to ensure that our evenings were comfortable and enjoyable.

Went there for work and the staff were very polite and helpful

Fusty smell around the hotel. Yes it was really cheap, but the noise from other rooms is so loud we won't be getting any sleep anyway so may as well not have bothered.

Value for money and great experience as always
