Didn't like the spring rolls very much. Sauces too runny

No sweet-and-sour sauce with the sweet-and-sour chicken balls. But the food was good. The lady that delivered the order was absolutely amazing when above and beyond to make sure the order was delivered.

it really was a very tasty meal..I'd definitely order again...no negative from me at all...

Very good food well worth the money at a good price

Chips were really cold just like the chicken curry and the chicken balls were really greasy and cold .

food is always very good .but this time very disappointed. as Singapore vermicelli tast salty and tasted funny.chips definitely microwaved and chicken curry had no taste at all and looked like grey dishwater very watery..........

not edible dont know what the hells gone on but the whole order was discusting massivle very upset as this was ! our fav place whats happend couldnt be touched

Curry sauce was grey, luke warm food when arrived, not as nice as when ordered back in November.

Sadly the food wasn’t good I’ve eaten at the white horse many times without a problem but this meal was awful the chow Mein was greasy the curry sauce was grey never had grey curry before just the sight of it put you off eating it chips hard terrible

first time we've ordered from this restaurant so had an open mind on how the meal would be, very pleased to say it surpassed all expectations and made for a fab evening meal, really great salt and pepper chicken and kung po beef

Always great food. Huge menu to choose from and all cooked fresh to order and served promptly. Not the prettiest of buildings but always an enjoyable experience.

Far and away the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to. Friendly welcome and service. All you can eat menu. Soups, starters, intermediates, main courses, and sides. As much as you like for a set price. Great value. Portion sizes are perfect and with such a range of flavours and textures, your taste buds are constantly being refreshed by something different. Every dish was fantastic. Particular favourites are salt and pepper sweetcorn and Yuk Sung. Every staff member was polite and helpful. I have already recommended to around 20 friends. I will definitely be returning very soon. Brilliant. Thank you Robert and your staff.

Orders are generally delivered earlier than advised although on this occasion, it was a little too early to be convenient. Nevertheless, the quality of food remained exceptionally good. We will certainly order again as our 'go to Chinese'

Not the best meal we have had from The White Horse. This is the first time I have had through Just Eat. Usually collect myself, but that shouldn't make a difference.

The food itself was tasty but it was not hot when it arrived. It was delivered in a standard plastic takeaway carrier. While I'm happy to pay a delivery charge I do expect hot food, please invest in an insulated delivery bag.

Came here for a birthday meal in a Saturday evening. Friendly welcome and food came out very quickly. Lovely range of options and the items we ordered were delicious. Would particularly recommend the Deep Fried Baby Sweetcorn with Salt and Chilli 🤤

It's located in a quiet spot well away from the city centre. Unfortunately the portions of rice were very small and the plates provided were too small to put portions on. The premises are scruffy and cleanliness could be improved upon inside.

No hoisin sauce for the duck - disaster! Crispy shredded beef pretty spicy but otherwise very nice

Better than Wing Wah and Fortune House. We’ve had 3 Chinese in the last week and this has been the best so far. Prawn toast wasn’t 100% some dry bits but good value for money and we are happy.

Always have a lovely meal at the White Horse. Food is great and portion sizes just right, plus very friendly staff. Nice to sit outside when the weather is good, too.

Came here for our anniversary meal and I'm so glad we did! Food was incredible and everything came out really quickly. Good portion sizes which means you can order lots of different plates without feeling stuffed afterwards. Great price for an all you can eat establishment.

The food was way below par. Really tasteless and poor quality. The ladies were nice and the fries were good. But otherwise really, really bad. Don't eat here!

Awful food, rice was undercooked and hard, pineapple was disgusting. Chicken curry was bitter and the spring roll was so greasy with little taste. Take it from someone who does food reviews as a career - this is some of the worst food I’ve had. Went in the bin and we ordered from Golden City which is sooo much better! Thanks for ruining my night and leaving me out of pocket White Horse!

Simply the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Fixed price menu but beware of the price of drinks. Great food, nice staff and overall a great place to eat. Ideal for a family party. Nice thing is that there are a lot of vegiterian options.

Excellent food with friendly and attentive staff. I have been here a few times over the years and the quality of food is always consistently good. It is competitively priced offering a buffet-style made to order selection. The food is well prepared and presented and comes out per course to order. The restaurant itself can feel a little cramped but it's well worth it for the quality of food and value on offer.

By far the best chinese anywhere! I travel from Ross-on-Wye to get my food from here! Absolutely brilliant service and food, impossible to find fault.

I wanted the food ASAP so it was well received coming early. The food was hot and really tasty.

Have been a few times and always found it to be amazing, however the last couple of times I have been disappointed. A table of 3 of us all asked for chicken balls… only got 3 balls (one each?), the time before I went with a larger group and again when we ordered the same item we only received one of each and when we mentioned we weren’t happy we were questioned as to whether we could eat that much.

Usually the food is really good here but the quality was awful this time round. Covered in oil and terrible taste with cold food owing to delivery taking too long. Shame :(

One of the worst Chinese we’ve ever had. Pretty impressive they managed to dry out chow mein. Delivered 50 minutes late and when called to chase delivery they pretended the phone wasn’t working. When finally arrived the delivery driver was extremely rude, although probably not the restaurants fault but added to the extremely poor experience

Two hour wait for food, dishes missing and was luke warm. Nothing written on the containers so struggled to work out a few of the dishes!

Delivery took almost an hour and a half, the food was cold and rubbery and everything was dry it was difficult to eat. The chicken in the kung po chicken was overly processed cheap chicken. The while order was such poor quality.

Food was lovely, unfortunately it was nearly an hour late. Contacted the restaurant to find out what was happening with the already late order to be told that they were busy and that it would be 15mins. Half an hour later it arrived. Order was placed at 18:47 for delivery ASAP and arrived after 21:00. Shocking.

Our waitress was pathetic! It's all you can eat... providing you have the approval from her. She would not let us order 2 dishes each (there was 6 of us) as she believed we would not finish it, even on our first round of ordering! She purposely left off some of our order, multiple times, and made ordering incredibly difficult.

Took almost 2 hours from ordering food to having it delivered. Had to ring to see where food was after it 20 mins late & then took another 25 mins after to receive food

First time going here. I was dubious when I arrived as in the dark it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, but received a friendly welcome. Staff were welcoming and so helpful and the food was amazing. Definitely returning soon and will encourage others. The food itself was flavoursome, not greasy and plentiful in it's quantity.
