Second time visiting, great atmosphere, the staff are lovely and the food is great! I can't recommend highly enough.

Back with friends at this wonderful village pub in the glorious Devon countryside. A table in the cosy doggy friendly bar area. A generous Sunday roast, in our opinion the best pub roast in the area. Top quality and cooked to order. Friendly and engaging crew. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Had a moment and wanted to check this great place was open after some confusing social media reports. It’s still there as good as ever and I was pleased to return after a while of me coming when not open. Same great format and food arrived cooked from scratch. I had the small breakfast but I could not clear it all. Great bacon, proper cafe sausage, tasty hash brown and nice mushrooms. I’d ask for fried bread to be separated next time. More expensive than previous but it’s now off beaten track so I’m happy to support it as a local legend. Well worth a proper breakfast outing!!

Lovely food, is cash only. Very lovely lady at the counter. Good weekend takeaway option. Some more vegetarian options would be nice if possible. Prices are incredible

Lovely people, great coffee and stunning views of the river. Always a friendly welcome and dog treats always given to Ted our dog! A fantastic asset for the village and visitors alike 😊

Great locals heritage pub with longe and bar. We went for live music which was outside (under cover) at the back

I booked a table of 20 guests for my birthday! We started arriving almost an hour early and expected to have to wait at the bar, but much to our surprise we were able to be seated straight away. Wheel-chair acess was easy for my mother-in-law also enabling her to keep her electric scooter beside her. Despite ordering 20 mains and many sides, all good came out around the same time - and there wasn't a single error . All food was well cooked and great quality for the price. The saving staff were proffessional and friendly and play area kept the children busy. The waiting staff didn't bother us unless called during the meal or after the meal. Many of us ended up staying for a couple of hours- having puddings and drinks after our meal and there was absolutely no pressure to leave at any time. Although the put was busy, there was plenty of seating and tables were well spaced so it didn't feel cramped. Thankyou very much.

We went here my for my dads birthday, there was 12 of us. There’s something on the menu to please the whole family. We all left very full and happy with our meals. The carvery meat portions were large and there were lots of veg options. As someone with a big sweet tooth, the deserts were incredible 😍 All the staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our family get to together. Will definitely be returning.

The hotel and grounds are really nice very scenic, unfortunately for me and it’s my own opinion the room we stayed in was clean and well presentable but the bed was way to soft for me and caused me to have back ache. The price for drinks also very high compared to other establishments. But as a venue the people putting a great show for a wedding we attended the food was great and the staff are very helpful and nice.

Lovely atmosphere with a warming log fire on a cold blustery January evening, Coombe Cellars didn’t disappoint. Tables beautifully set up, staff very attentive and helpful, and the food was tasty and good value, as always. Situated in a lovely setting right next to the estuary, highly recommended, whatever time of year (Raffle ticket too! AH361983, number 63, pink - fingers crossed!)

Loving the changes and the menu staff are great and now it's dog friendly inside the pub it's awesome visit at least once a month....

having heard so many good things about styles garden centre i decided to go over there an see how it compares with jacks patch in teignmouth......not a patch i have to say. I was expecting a massive area of plants for sale, but was left disappointed as there wasnt a vast selection of plants, they tend to concentrate more on the garden sundries and general nik naks rather than the plants. Bit disappointed to be honest

Asked by member of staff to wait in one of the bay’s waited twenty minutes for our order possible we would of waited longer if we hadn’t asked member of staff were the order was eventually came out couldn’t eat much as cold and cold coffee this has happened twice that’s why I’m writing this review now
