We went with high expectations and enjoyed the 3 course menu. Only improvements I would suggest is please offer plain bread to eat with mussels. Focaccia is too rich to soak up tasty juices. Also add a light sorbet to pudding selection perhaps? Tiramisu plus doughnuts with coffee, rather rich!

really lovely friendly staff....whilst we only had a baked potato, the presentation was good and the food very tasty . I visited the toilets and can only say they were spotless which always gives an indication of how much a business cares. When we are back in the area we wil not hesitate to go there again for lunch/afternoon tea

The French Patisserie at Saveurs is incredible, with delicious cakes, coffee and bread; highly recommend! We had coffee and raspberry chocolate browny; wow, wow wow! We also had pear flan with amazing buttery pastry; so good. Its difficult if you are just visiting, so we took away more delicious patisserie for later

Stumbled across this excellent deli on a wet January day in Dartmouth and had the best cream tea in a long time. Warm and fresh scones, delicious jam & clotted cream and nicely brewed fresh tea. The interior is very stylish & has a nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere with nice mellow music in the background. Great stuff.

We were staying in Dartmouth and looking for a good, dog friendly place to eat and Brown's fit the bill perfectly. As it was a Monday evening the place was very quiet and we were offered a choice of two tables with plenty of space for our 2 Irish Setters. The very friendly waitress (sorry I didn't ask your name!) quickly took our orders for wine and food. Starters of roast chorizo and a field mushroom topped with goat's cheese were delicious and the mains of venison and wild boar ragu were every bit as good. Sadly, we had no room for desserts, but there looked to be a good choice. They don't have a car park but there is plenty of free on street parking on Victoria Road; I guess the place gets very busy in main seaon though so you may have to use one of the nearby pay car parks and walk along. Worth the walk though as it's certainly a place to recommend.

We have just visited Brown's Hotel in Dartmouth. The hotel has a wonderful ambience. Its individuality and relaxing comfort clearly show an eye to detail (and a great ear for music). We received a warm welcome and the staff were consistently friendly, kind and helpful. The Hotel is ideally situated, close to everything you will want to do. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, again with an eye to detail and individuality, providing for all your creature comforts - and always making that extra effort to anticipate guest needs. The beds are very large and very comfortable. Everything is spotlessly clean. It was a real pleasure to visit a hotel reflecting the owners' tastes, rather than the ersatz similarity offered by most hotels. We look forward to visiting Brown's again, possibly linking our visit to one of the seasonal/musical events put on by the hotel or by the Town itself. Just as an extra note. We went over the ferry to visit Coleton Fishacre Gardens. We used the 'Lower Ferry'. That was a wonderful experience just in itself! The skill of the skipper, guiding the ferry from one shore to the other was quite remarkable. (Much more interesting than the larger cable ferry at the other end of the town!!) We recommend Brown's Hotel, Dartmouth very strongly.

It is hard to find something in Dartmouth if you are vegan so didn't fancy our chances in the Market Square but running out of choices. A quick browse of the menu and I noticed they have a really inclusive menu with GF and VG choices. We had the home made soup and the Tofu baguette which were both exceptional with perfectly crisp but soft tofu and pea houmous. It sounds very worthy but was absolutely delicious and a proper light lunch. It has made the prospect of a trip to Dartmouth even more worthwhile.

We were pleased to see The Good Intent open even though we visited on a cold day in November. The ice cream we had was delicious - it was light and fluffy and very flavoursome - also a nice price. We were served with a smile.

We absolutely loved Morellos, from the vintage-look interior with its pink and turquoise furnishings and monochrome chequered floor, to the delicious cake and coffee! Service was friendly, efficient and attentive and we will definitely go there again. We loved the music too.

We were in Dartmouth for a couple of days and in search of one veggie and one vegan breakfast at reasonable prices - seems a tall order for most places who want to ply you with something fancy for a high cost. Not at Dudley's. A full English breakfast for both of us, vegetarian for my partner and vegan for me. Freshly cooked, delicious and service with a smile. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in Dartmouth again.
