We were pleased to see The Good Intent open even though we visited on a cold day in November. The ice cream we had was delicious - it was light and fluffy and very flavoursome - also a nice price. We were served with a smile.

And another great lunch st Jenny Koos! We love the daily specials and the pork belly on rice was wonderful! She really knows how to bring out the flavours in everything she cooks! Thanks again Jenny!

We were staying in Dartmouth and looking for a good, dog friendly place to eat and Brown's fit the bill perfectly. As it was a Monday evening the place was very quiet and we were offered a choice of two tables with plenty of space for our 2 Irish Setters. The very friendly waitress (sorry I didn't ask your name!) quickly took our orders for wine and food. Starters of roast chorizo and a field mushroom topped with goat's cheese were delicious and the mains of venison and wild boar ragu were every bit as good. Sadly, we had no room for desserts, but there looked to be a good choice. They don't have a car park but there is plenty of free on street parking on Victoria Road; I guess the place gets very busy in main seaon though so you may have to use one of the nearby pay car parks and walk along. Worth the walk though as it's certainly a place to recommend.

Our latest visit to Dartmouth and with our accommodation on this occasion in Dart marina the bridge became our local we drank here most afternoons and ate on three occasions beer and food excellent at all times my wife loved her fish and chips and the scampi for me it was the Ribs and the mussels both were superb Staff always polite and helpful The Bridge is an excellent place to eat and drink well worth the walk from the centre of Dartmouth great views from the terrace if you enjoy Al Fresco dining Mark the manager pointed out to us that he is available for the next Bond 007 as nobody from Wales has ever had the role he would be a excellent choice he never looks shaken or stirred Kind regards to all

I can honestly say the worst place I’ve ever been. I’m not an active reviewer but had to comment how rude and aggressive the staff was here without any cause. It’s all very suspicious to be honest because nobody can be that horrible surely.

Ordered and paid for coffee and then was forgotten until reminded that we had been waiting for nearly 15 minutes. It wasn’t even very busy. We did receive a curt apology.
