The best restaurants in Sedgemoor South West

The prices they are now charging are ridiculous. 70p on a drink, and you quite often get half a cup. They are the only McDonald's around here that we have found have put prices up!!

Have ordered food for it too say it’s been delivered well it hasn’t and no one answers the phone! This is ridiculous!!!

Monya has the most friendly and supportive owners. The food was excellent, and they sell one of the best mint sauces, nan bread and popadoms. I would highly recommend visiting the takeaway.

We ordered two vegetarian breakfasts. They had no vegetarian sausages no ketchup no salt no pepper. The tomatoes and beans weren't just not hot, they were cold. Eating out isn't an everyday thing for us, it's a holiday treat. This was anything but. We've made a mental note to avoid Momma's cafe next time we come to Burnham. Come on chaps, we are supporting small businesses like you during the Covid crisis but it's a two-way thing.

Staff seemed uninterested, obviously chatting to acquaintances at the counter. The place was cold but none of the wall mounted fires were on. Ordered a bacon bap and scrabbled egg on toast with bacon and two cappuccino. Coffee arrived first and was tasteless. After ages the food arrived. The scrambled egg was minus the bacon and with only one slice of toast, although the menu advertised two. The waitress took it away and returned with bacon added. It was so over cooked it was inedible. The scrabbled egg was also overcooked and the single slice of toast burnt. When asked, a second slice of toast was produced. The only good thing was that they refunded the cost of the scrambled egg but without any apology.

Lovely food! Lovely staff. I had Chips and onion rings wish I'd got double the amount of onions rings really good, and tasty. Nice chips. But most of all the staff are friendly, helpful and a testament to bridgwater. We need more guys like the staff at Yummies. They looked out for me when I had some local yobs try to steal my bike from me. The staff invited me inside and made me feel safe. A big thank you to them all. Especially the big guy in the chiefs hat and appron, thank you so much. We need more people like you in this town 😊👍 big thumbs up. Best food place in town.

Met up with some friends who were staying at unity and we popped into the Tavern. Was nice much better than expected and our server Charlotte was lovely and great service

I came in to purchase my free wopper as it says Don't Bin your receipt Get a free copper sandwich with purchase and validation code when I gave the receipt to staff they said I have to purchase a fries and drink which was £5.71 This does not show on display

It’s an average services. Toilets and refreshments- all you need. I’ve visited better, and I’ve visited worst. When travelling it does what it says on the box. Like the neon light section, was a fun addition.

First visit to this Chinese only went due to our local being closed for there annual holiday. Ordered chicken fried rice and the best place for it was straight in the bin, it was not fit for human consumption. Awful customer service upon arrive. Would never visit again and waste good earnt money.

Beach fronted bar, needed today as the temp was high and sunny, £17 for a round of drinks, rum and coke, gin and tonic, white wine and half a coke, coke was a panda coke really no taste at all, young man behind bar didnt look that intrested in been there today, does reflect as next door was packed out and theres only us four here

This branch of Warren's Bakery closed permanently in November 2019. The prices were extremely expensive. The nearest Warren's is in our county town of Taunton. If you want to get a pastie from them. I wouldn't recommend it. The better pasties are available from other sources. Not Very Happy.
