Moyna Indian Takeaway in Sedgemoor

Monya has the most friendly and supportive owners. The food was excellent, and they sell one of the best mint sauces, nan bread and popadoms. I would highly recommend visiting the takeaway.

Moyna used to be the best nan breads in town, recently they have changed them and the new nan breads don't even compare

Faultless takeaway, beautiful flavours, recommend it to all. We had: vege Kora curry, tarka Dahl, Bombay potatoes, samosa's, Peshawari naan and pilau rice. Mmmm drooling just remembering it!

Delivered to wrong address, possibly just threw it in a nearby field for all I know. When I rang to ask where my food was, I was told they had delivered it (God knows where) and that it was not their problem. There is a special place in hell for these people. I would not be unhappy if they all perished in a forest fire.

I’ve ordered from here for years loved it the last few times it’s not been great naan bread still raw barely any chicken in curry. Today was the last straw 2 and half hours wait staff were rude on phone no apologies and again wasn’t very nice will be going somewhere else from now on!

I am a bit disappointed. Although the food arrived on time it was bland, leaving me to question if it was even an Indian meal i'd ordered. After asking for the food to be spicy it was tasteless and lacked originality. The aloo tiki chaat usually should come in a yoghurt dish but came in some sort of naan bread?! The mattar paneer was more like a pea and mozzarella cheese curry not the paneer pieces and spices you would expect, especially knowing my Indian food. The dhaal was tasteless and the saag was in edible. Sorry but not up to my standards!

Ordered a take away for myself & fiancé. The delivery boy came & asked for an extra £1.30 as I asked for mint sauce & onions for our popodum, I honestly couldn't believe he had the cheek to ask for extra money! When opening our bag, the popodoms were burnt. The meal had no flavour, it was so bland. The nann bread was piled with sugar & no coconut to be found. This is definitely the worse Indian meal we have ever had. Never would I order from them again, it all was absolutely disgusting!!!

I think I've just had the worst takeaway of my life. I was headed to the wonderful China Star Chinese Restaurant nearby, but it was closed that evening, so I thought I'd give Moyna a try. Bad decision. Very bad decision. The food was completely tasteless, and full of artificial colouring. I'm sad to relate that I really cannot recommend this takeaway, and would suggest you go elsewhere..

Horrible rude staff who are incompetent! I rang to place an order to be told it was a hour and a half wait so I cancelled the order. I placed another order with another local company who said there was a 30 minute wait. After approx 30 minutes there was a ring on our door bell so I went to door paid for curry and came into the house. As soon as I got I in I realised the carrier bag was moyna I was straight on the phone saying I had cancelled the order so why had they delivered it? The lady on the phone apologised and said she would send the driver back and he would refund the money. In the mean time the correct curry arrived. After waiting 15 minutes no one arrived to collect curry which I had cancelled so I called back to be told this was my fault and no refund would be given! The manager was rude and unhelpful saying it was Saturday night he was hardly going to send driver back for an order I accepted, but I had cancelled this order they'd told be an hour and half not 30 minutes so I didn't give it a thought it would arrive! They then tried to cover their over backs saying I was never told I'd get a refund and that I used abusive language which I did not! Liers unhelpful and I would Never recommend or use again!

Ordered from here via Just Eat. After hours....yes hours of waiting we still hadn't had our food. Which we had paid for already via the app. I called them to find out where our delivery was to be told it would be at least another 30 minutes and that they were short staffed. Telephone number provided with order so I have no idea why they didn't have the common courtesy to tell us? Anyway after them being really rude and unprofessional on the phone we decided to go collect our order ourselves. We couldn't get a refund as it's not down to the Indian or Just Eat it would appear they blame each other. We were very surprised to see their delivery driver sat on a sofa in the shop playing on his phone and the car parked up illegally outside when we arrived as we were told they were busy? Ah well NEVER AGAIN!! English Raj and Spice Club in bridgwater have a much more efficient service and are professional. They don't deliver but it would appear this lot don't either so no loss there.

Ok so I've been going to this Indian for about two years myself, my family have been going there for a lot longer. It is the greatest Indian I have ever had in my life and they are so polite and kind to me. As I'm a regular customer they always know I'm going to pop in because I always order the same thing. I used to eat meat and now I'm a veggie so I ask for what I used to have (tandoori butter chicken) for just the sauce and other bits thrown in there, just without the chicken - no problem at all. Amazing service, amazing food, will return for as long as I live!!!!

The curries are very good, the value is even better as you do get huge portions, there is a huge selection and they deliver - what is there not to like.

I was wondering what to have as a take-away and as i hadn't had a curry for some time I opted for an Indian. I was able to order through Just-eat which was very handy as i didn't have a menu to hand at home. The menu is very extensive and there is something on there for all tastes from very mild to very hot, chicken, lamb,meat and prawn. As i like a hot curry i decided on the Meat Rezalla and sides of mushroom rice, garlic naan and mint sauce to cool things down a little. It was delivered very quickly before the time stated and the girl who delivered it was lovely.. I cant fault the meal in any way and it was huge. I wouldn't hesitate in coming back hare again or advise others to do so also.

Waited two and a half hours for food to be delivered. Phoned 3 times and was told each time just another 15-20 minutes. When food arrived we were over charged, curry was cold and worst of all the naan bread was raw in the middle. Disgusting! I will never use this place again.

I've been a regular customer of Moyna for more years than I care to remember. In my opinion it's the best Indian take-away in the town hence my being a loyal customer it's a shame that the resteraunt side of their business shut some yes ago as I enjoyed eating out there. (That might have been under previous owners).

Always good value. The set menus are huge portions and the food is always top quality. Easier to phone ahead with your order if you are collecting.

The Moyna was our first experience of an Indian take away having moved to Bridgwater in June and what a fine one it is! Good choice, reasonably priced, spicy food. No water pumped up chicken here! Would highly recommend and they do deliver.
