Momma's Cafe in Sedgemoor

We ordered two vegetarian breakfasts. They had no vegetarian sausages no ketchup no salt no pepper. The tomatoes and beans weren't just not hot, they were cold. Eating out isn't an everyday thing for us, it's a holiday treat. This was anything but. We've made a mental note to avoid Momma's cafe next time we come to Burnham. Come on chaps, we are supporting small businesses like you during the Covid crisis but it's a two-way thing.

The kitchen is filthy. People working in their own clothes. Dirty working practices. Bin on work top next to preparing food. Poor food handling standards. All food handlers should wear appropriate uniform

We had a fried breakfast with scrambled eggs. The scramble egg was revolting it was black and resembled coral, the bacon burnt, baked beans tasteless, burnt hash brown, tea was ok. Will not be returning. Mr Singh try listening to the customers they are paying your wages without them you will have no business.

wow is all i can say this little cafe is amazing we have had both breakfasts and sunday lunch here the staff are friebdly, home cooked food and always served with a smile

A good selection of meals with special rates for Senior citizens. I had the Cottage pie and my wife had the bacon egg and chips both served in good quantity.

Great little cafe.. great menu with a lot of old-fashioned light bites as well as breakfasts and traditional British seaside dishes. We stopped by for a light lunch and sat outside (they have a couple of tables on the pavement). My son enjoyed a sausage sandwich and myself fried mushrooms on toast with a portion of chips apiece. The staff were lovely and friendly and nothing was too much bother. Our waitress was even kind enough to toast an extra slice for the dog for us and even asked if she would like butter on it :) Perfect for families, especially those looking for a quick, fuss-free bite and on budget. Would definitely recommend and come again :) The only slight downside that stopped me giving it a 5 is it only takes cash...
