After being served the best fish and chips by far at this takeaway for some time now I was incredibly disappointed recently that the quality had hit rock bottom when ordering four cod and chips. The cod was dry and inedible. We threw everything away apart from a few chips. Not up to the usual standards. The almost one hour wait time was definitely not worth it.

In pouring rain, we dived into this little gem, more to get to somewhere dry than anything else. How lucky were we! Absolutely beautiful food, excellent service and a cafe atmosphere. What else would you want! We visited this café today for a quick lunch and couldn't believe our luck. Fresh, artisan bread used to make all the different sandwiches, the freshest and tastiest fillings. Lovely cups of Dorset Mint Tea to cap it off.

Stay away from here, it’s unfortunate that this place probably was very good to start with. It has clearly changed. Nobody seemsto know. What to do. The lobster was the size of a small crayfish that had its legs amputated when it was young. The steak was looking like a piece of boot leather, but nevertheless for some obscure reason it tasted okay. After hours of waiting, the food finally arrived, and it was cold. The fish and chips is okay, but the rest was terrible. Don’t order the nuts, they’re orange and don’t taste of anything, not sure what they are. Finally, stay away from the toilets.

I have been coming here for many years, and it is one of my favourite pubs for its selection of good ales and its traditional yet modern ambience. BUT I hate it when it has live music at weekends because the place becomes packed out with a very young clientele, conversation is impossible, and generally, the bands are not the greatest. Possibly this says more about me than the venue but if you like to have a couple of beers and a natter with friends then you should choose your nights very carefully!

I live local to MBs and each time I go in, it is incredibly slow service with staff who do not even acknowledge you. A quick, polite “we’ll be with you shortly “ would help, but you get nothing. Sorry, but too slow and too expensive.

Booked for Christmas lunch with the family looking forward to great food and service. Unfortunately the day turned into a complete disaster. Starter took over an hour, the main more than an hour and a half and the sorbet course didn’t even materialise. The quality of the food was very sub standard. Have eaten there before and had great food but this time it was really awful. A Christmas Day ruined

Was in the bar for most of the evening. Checked the bar next door and then refused reentry because one member of the party was wearing ‘sports shorts’ - despite leaving the bar 5 minutes previous with no issues. No reference on the website initially about dress code. Happy to take our custom at the start of the night and accept money then. Suddenly a change of opinion. Will leave our custom elsewhere. Poor customer service - disappointing.

Late review- went to now “Parkstone club” to get a feel as now living in the area. With things a little different to how things were before covid-19 it was a lovely experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, full and clear guidelines in place making you feel safe within the business. There was Table service during our experience this was because of the guidelines, staff seemed happy enough, polite and even the lady chef offered us a Freshly cooked lunch. Drinks were lovely and food was Devine! We will be returning when we can. 5star*

I do not recommend this establishment at all. Staff are always rude and disrespectful. I have had saches of sauces thrown at me by female staff. I downloaded the phone app to avoid interaction with the members of staff and not having to wait around in line to use the kiosk as you can’t even order at the tills. In the last two occasions I’ve been the KFC the menu has been incorrect in both the app and kiosk and items in the menu are missing or you can’t customize and when you ask for help from the staff their response is “use the kiosk”, “try again”, to then having to order at the tills anyway. Please avoid this KFC at all costs!

Don't bother. Ordered at 20.05. ETA 20.45. Arrived at 22.20. Had to reheat in the microwave. Hungry, and disappointed, and no customer service from the restaurant or Deliveroo. Tried to call restaurant four times. Twice they hung up. Twice went to answer phone. Finally Deliveroo called back and refused to cancel the order or compensate.

Really consistent and good food. 🍛 My wife is Gluten and Dairy free (really awkward I know 🤣) so this normally causes an issue with Indian restaurants. The chefs here have it nailed and never disappoint. It’s not advertised so You just need to ask, but they can sort out anything. It’s our go-to now, even though there are glitzier Indian restaurants locally. Great work… 👏👏

No prices on any cakes, muffins, scones etc etc on display. Not very good and against catering guidelines. Customers should know prices before getting to tills. Very misleading and crafty. No viable price list either. Very disappointing. Very slow at tills.
