Best chicken, best service and nice music

Overpriced garbage. the food is average at best with unbelievable small portions considering the price, would easily be a 3-4 star restaurant if not so heavily overpriced, could of gotten an absolute feast if ordered food some where else but instead payed 60 quid for some of the most average food never even reaching somewhat above average, with unbelievable small portions to offer with what we ordered. Terribly dissapointed was recommend this place but have no idea why given the reason stated above. Would never recommend, please don't eat here save your money and go somewhere cheaper where you can not only get better food but also a much better price

Chicken & Blues Poole is an amazing place. I often stop here after a long cycle and grab some amazing food. The staff are always welcoming and friendly everytime. Keep up the good work 👏

Love love love chicken and blues. Original chicken wrap, with halloumi, sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks and you have the beak kind of food coma!

I have come here with my now-wife for years and years. It's where we went on several of our early dates, and its special to us. The food quality has stayed consistently excellent for all that time, and we're always excited to order again. We've introduced the place to quite a few friends and it rapidly became a staple for them too.

Ordered over £70 of food via deliveroo, over half of the order was missing, very disappointing - eventually sorted but took a lot of effort to get resolved

While working away, took a chance on Deliveroo with these. Totally lucked out, it was awesome. Will be using these guys every time I’m down going forward.

The most overrated chicken shop Iv ever ordered from. £40 for two people to eat. Chicken was dry. I had the half chicken which wasn’t seasoned at all really. My partner had the wrap which had no flavour. Mac and cheese bites were about the only good thing. Iv heard great things about C&B but it didn’t live up to its reputation.

Currently sat in A&E after ordering a chicken Caesar salad. That doesn’t state that it has pine nuts in the sauce. After a call with the branch as I felt symptoms of an allergic reaction they said they would call back. Then came back to say that they do put pine nut shards in it but tried to cover themself by saying it’s classed as a seed! Which is also not on the contains list anyway. Hoping it won’t be serious but wonder when these company’s will ever learn. Will be taking legal action.

We are big fans of C&B, typically having a take away once a week for the past year! However it’s frustrating that they really lack consistency. Sometimes the wraps and skin on fries are unicorns other times a huge disappointment. Tonight I threw my soggy, undercooked, unseasoned tasteless fries away (what waste of money) when just last week they were amazing! It’s such a shame as we are losing confidence in them. They clearly have some fantastic chefs one nite and other nights it’s like a total novice prepared our food. Please C&B train your staff and get some consistency coz we never know if it’s going to be 9/10 or 2/10……it’s frustrating :(

Deceptive place, entrance just looks like a takeaway but through the arch and there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy your meal. Staff were friendly and efficient. Service was fast, food was hot and very tasty. Buffalo wings, chicken thighs, chips and a couple of bottles of Blue Moon to wash it down. Highly recommend it if you love chicken.

Takeaway from here is the best! Delicious chicken and great service :) Love the southern fried chicken wrap and the mac and cheese bites the best.

My son-in-law used to eat here every week. He even took my daughter on one of their first dates here. So I thought I should give it a go. The chairs and tables where shabby, the food was average. I only hope he takes my daughter to nicer places now they are married!

By far the best takeaway in the local area and have had many times. The food is delicious and the service is always impeccable, especially the guy this morning who went out of his way for me. I feel the price point is right for the quality and area.

Great food, I ordered the chicken thighs which tasted great but looked a bit lacking on the plate given the price, for slightly less I ordered 6 buffalo wings which were also great but looked much more like value for money when they came out!

Nice food, great service but Wow big price increase for take aways last few weeks. Shark special has gone and now charging for gravy. Price of my takeaway meal has gone up 9 pound from 2 weeks ago. ..!!!!! What a shame. Bit expensive now for chicken and chips takeaway

Very tender chicken, there was a review about food poisining but I would discredit it as I have ordered from here multiple times and never had an issue.

I really rate Chicken & Blues, great food and always fast delivery. However, I am only giving 4 stars as the past couple of times I have ordered click and collect my food has been cold, which has been really disappointing.

I Have eaten most of the food from the chicken and blues menu, this morning I tried the breakfast wrap and it is my new favourite by far!

We used the website to click & collect. Accurate ordering / cooking and great service on collection. A good all round, local too.

Good cheap chicken. Nothing particularly exciting but I do like the portion sizes. Whole bbq chicken was plentiful. I love that table water comes straight out too without having to ask.

Went for an office lunch but despite being empty we were seated at two separate tables. There were 10 of us and could have easily been accommodated. Service was OK not attentive but ok.

These guys know how to cook tasty chicken! Quick service, delicious wraps and so many lip smacking sauces. Always a home run, and reasonable prices too! Cauliflower BBQ wings are sensational.

unfortunately, my party all left with food poisoning after our meal which is a real shame as this place used to be amazing. the food we received came very quickly, and was cold and tough. as well as this it seems the prices have gone up whilst the portion sizes have slightly decreased, unless i was just unlucky with the cuts of chicken i received. overall the service is great and our member of staff was very kind and helpful, although ordering our food was a bit confusing and felt a bit unnecessary with the option of ordering online or in person both at the same time. if this place improved its hygiene and overall atmosphere then it would’ve got 5 stars, but since we left with food poisoning i don’t think we’ll be returning any time soon.

Tasty food, our second visit here. Good options on the menu (if you like chicken 🍗). Nice sauces. Happy to go back again soon.

Friendly staff every time I've visited, the food has been consistently of high quality and it's a very reasonable price too.

On arrival hadn’t even sat down and was informed to hurry with order as table of 10 might cause a long wait for are meal.I looked around and place wasn’t busy a party of 10 and another table of 2 and us. Sat next to radiator that was not on to my disappointment as the whole restaurant was very cold throughout. Table was tacky, sticky had to put our nails under menu to unstick from table to turn it over to see drinks side, possibly cleaning product seems to have reacted with top on wooden table. Waitress when food was brought to us “can I have your menus back as they stick to table” . We again had to put our nails under menu to peel them off table. Food arrived warm not hot only thing hot was gravy buffalo wings really overcooked dry chicken and solid and boneless chicken thighs contained small bones sides warm not hot. choose a pudding as still hungry both had churros again food luke warm and churros really over cooked dark brown dry with no soft middle. Complete rip off spent nearly £60 on terrible food in a cold room with unfriendly service left hungry and disappointed place seems to be more interested in their take away delivery service we will not be returning.

Chicken and Blues is the best spot for Chicken in the UK. Hands down beats Nandos. We must have eaten here 100+ times. Anyone who visits we always bring to C&B. Love their reward system too. Half a chicken falls off the bone. The southern fried wrap with double chicken, halloumi and blue cheese is to die for. Huge fan. The food is consistently amazing, lovely staff. 10/10.

I'm changing this review because the last time me and my girlfriend went there our food was cold the service was rubbish wouldn't go back there ever again you let yourself down

Food is always excellent, and the service is useful pretty damn good to be fair, but after 3 deliveries with missing items I felt the urge to give this review, I’d be happy if they just sent out the missing items but you always end up with a Deliveroo credit Poor service guys, foods amazing if only the packers were too 😞

Had such a lovely time with friends. Easy to order, our waitress was SO nice (sadly forgot her name). The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered more waffle fries as they were so good! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Incredible food! This is a concept that is often done wrong, but Chicken and Blues has done it so well. Such great quality, flavours, and portion sizes. The southern fried wrap was packed with incredible flavour and the crispiest chicken. So good!!!

Very freindly. All customers are warmly welcomed and the level of service was great. The BBQ chicken was good and although we dined in, we also took the same order home as a fresh takeaway. The visit is worth it.

Had 1/2 chicken, skin on fries, halloumi, extra spicy sauce. £16 in total which is a great price for the amount you get. Didn't disappoint and would choose this over Roosters any time I'm in the area.

Dissapointed with the length of time we had to wait for a table, there were empty tables but it took a long time to clear them all and re-lay 4 tables, we only needed one, service was slow, they don't serve Lemonade as a mixer or straight, when we came to pay, we were refused paying with cash as they are card only, will not be returning to eat in, food was very good so only takeaway for me in the future.

We stopped here on the way home for a quick lunch, it was our first time and we were really impressed. The staff were friendly and explained how to use the app to order. We both ordered from the new plant based range which was amazing. The wraps and sides came out quickly and were hot and delicious. We’ll definitely be back soon.

My daughter and I stopped by here for lunch today, what a lovely place to dine. Excellent customer service! Very reasonably priced, excellent menu. We opted for the Mama's Christmas wrap and what a good choice. BBQ chicken with sprout slaw, cranberry mayo, crispy potatoes, crispy bacon, and chestnut stuffing, wrapped in a lightly grilled tortilla and served with mama's gravy for dipping. All wrapped within a toasted tortilla. Highly recommended!

So disappointing, at least it arrived on time. Chicken was ok, not very tasty. We had wings in bbq sauce, ok, s. fried tenders and thighs - horrid. Beans, slaw and fries horrid and overpriced. £31 for less than average food. Will not be back. Sorry.

I used to love it here, now u have click a QR code, try and find what u want on safari, it gets bloody complicated and just infuriating. I gave up after 15 mins trying to order. Asked why and got the usually rubbish about Covid but they are the only restaurant I know doing this. I walked out and won’t be back unless they go back to a nice simple order with a waiter and it’s done in seconds.

Very frustrating. Initially told we couldn’t book. Turned out they were full and just wanted us to come for take away. Then they didn’t actually have corn on the cob, waffle fries, sweet potato fries or chicken nuggets (ie the whole children’s menu). I’m sure they are ok normally, but it was annoying.

Ordered a couple times from deliveroo and what can I say other then I'm in love 😍 portion sizes are great more than I can handle most times. People are great on the phone when I've had questions about my allergies.

Tried these guys out on deliveroo food arrived 15 mins after placeing the order!!!! Boom! Hot fresh and tasty, couldn't ask for more when it comes to delivered food

I was craving some grilled chicken and this really did give me my "Nandos" fix - ordered via Deliveroo. The food was rapidly delivered, in around 15 minutes. Food still very hot - obviously just cooked very impressive. Chicken thighs (expensive yes) were much bigger and better quality than the high street competition we are all used to. Spicy rice was great, also had grilled halloumi and friend chicken tenders. We will definitely be using these guys again. They also had a great looking set of vegan options, although we will try next time. Give these guys a chance and you won't be let down - totally awesome!

Working for Poole Hospital on night shifts, we have noticed that chicken and blues had been bringing free food for the day staff. We rung up to place an order and to actually PAY, but we’re turned down, saying they would not take an order over the phone, either had to do it through their website or just eat. Doing it through just eat does not allow the 50% discount which they promote and the website kept crashing. We rung the shop four times and still had no luck. We have found this very very disappointing, when they bring FREE food during the day but when we were actually going to PAY they didn’t want to help us. They also wanted us to collect when we stated they we are working and unable to leave. I will not be ordering from here again. Cannot believe that they would treat us like this. Not good.

Food ok, not much selection if you don't like wraps. Tasted ok. I think £6.50 to £8 is quite expensive for a wrap. And £4 for a few bits of lettuce and less than a quarter of an avocado is also pricey.

Sorry not for me and I honestly can't see the appeal.3 pieces of lukewarm, dried up, over cooked thighs on an large empty tin plate with zero decoration, attention, or garnish just doesn't do anything for me. Only one salad option which was plain lettuce with avocado on top covering all the leaves underneath which were going brown!All chips were obviously frozen, all sauces bought, and not sure about the chicken. Props to helpful guys who work there they were really pleasant. And also waaay too expensive for what it was.

Ordered a takeaway from here on Christmas Eve, we expected to have to wait but as we have ordered from here numerous times before and have always received high quality food we were happy to wait. Unfortunately what we received was really poor. Having spent £80 on a full chicken, kids meals, two wraps, deserts and milkshakes we thought we were in for a decent meal, however, the chicken was dry, the donuts received with the kids meals had been microwaved (with the caramel sauce still in the plastic tubs so they shrunk leaving them inedible). The wraps and shakes were ok but the chips were cold. All in all for what we paid I was really disappointed and will likely be looking for an alternative, I appreciated Christmas Eve would be a busy time to order but we expected freshly cooked food, not microwaved chicken and kids meals.

Despite the food being cold somehow after waiting 30 minutes, the food delivered was almost up to what we ordered. I've been here previously, and it's been excellent. Just wish they could lock down consistently before claiming themselves the best takeaway of 2017
