We had a fantastic meal at Jerry's, everything was delicious. Jerry is always so cheerful and attentive. We were a mixed age group with a baby and all made so welcome.

We came for coffee in the morning, and liked it so much that we came back for lunch. Lovely staff, and the food was delicious. Can recommend the Welsh Rarebit and Chicken Gyros!

Can't recommend No.8 Cafe enough. Friendly staff. Nice inside and out. Off the East Street so nice and secluded. I had the Little Breakfast - which was enough and very tasty. Every element well made and sourced. I especially like the mushroom with thyme, cooked for a perfect amount of time and not swimming in butter like usual. Bang on! Had a really nice coffee too. Go!

We visited Gorcombe as a company for some outdoor pursuits and built up quite an appetite after all the activities! By prior arrangement we had sole use of the cafe for food, a selection of curries and sides. They were delicious - catering for a nut allergy and vegans within our group too. The service and friendly staff made it such an enjoyable evening and everyone loved the food. I wish I had taken photos but would highly recommend. Such a warm and welcoming place to enjoy a delicious meal.

Really lovely and friendly staff; lizzie and matt were very welcoming. Explained what drinks they had and made us very wonderful and tasty drinks for very reasonable prices. Just a very friendly place that goes out of it way to give fantastic service. You will not regret coming here like ourselves who had not been here before as we are new to the local area. Hope you try it yourselves!

We came in for a cuppa and a snack, we found the prices nice and affordable. We had a cheese scone, lemon cake and tea cake with teas. Can't grumble at all! The man serving us was lovely and paid good attention to my son asking for 3 slices of cake (the man cut his cake into 3, the 5 year old was most pleased thinking he'd got 3 slices) Only down side is its not wheelchair accessible, not really the cafes fault but I would have loved to had fetched my family in who don't visit that often for a lovely brew!

Excellent food, good selection delivered promptly

Visited Steve and the Yellow Bicyclists for a couple of their supper clubs. Always an outstanding and fun evening with gorgeously prepared and cooked food, served with a smile. We understand that Steve will be hanging up his apron, so thank you for everything and good luck for the future. You deserve it.

This was seriously some of the best food I've had. Everyone round the table said the same. It was also very well priced. Nothing fancy, but everything you need & outstanding food.

Excellent service, very kind hospitality from staff and food was delicious. Definitely the best Nepalese cuisine I’ve had in the area, would recommend it to those who would like to try a new cuisine

I have attended The Georgian Tea Rooms on a number of occasions and have always received excellent service. On Wednesday the 11th December 2024, me plus 9 friends attended for a pre-arranged Christmas lunch. The food was nicely served and the whole ensemble enjoyed the meal. All together, it was an enjoyable visit, the service and the food were of the top quality. I recommend this venue.

Friendly happy and well priced cafe. Will use this gem in future as I don't like crowded little cafes. Owner is lovely too. Xx

We held our daughters baby shower for 25 people here at the weekend, Alex put on a superb buffet and drinks (non and alcoholic). So helpful in letting us set up the room beforehand with a balloon arch and arranging a few tables. Everyone commented on what a lovely venue and how nice and friendly the staff were looking after us all afternoon. Alex and his teams award winning cocktails are a must to try,

Went in to get a takeaway coffee . A few of us on a bike ride stopped at Reeves the bakers over the road . About 20 of us . My friend and I decided to try this place as we thought it would be quicker . We waited 15 minutes for 3 of the smallest takeout coffees I’ve ever had . The coffee was so so and for the money charged will definitely won’t be going again . The quote of the day from the guy behind the counter was “ I find it hard to delegate “ 🤷🏻‍♂️.
