We held our daughters baby shower for 25 people here at the weekend, Alex put on a superb buffet and drinks (non and alcoholic). So helpful in letting us set up the room beforehand with a balloon arch and arranging a few tables. Everyone commented on what a lovely venue and how nice and friendly the staff were looking after us all afternoon. Alex and his teams award winning cocktails are a must to try,

My daughter and son in law had their wedding reception at The Ginger Viking they chose a great place to hold it. Great atmosphere, plenty of room upstairs and downstairs👍😄. Staff were lovely, we tried many cocktails many of them made up by the staff with ingredients asked for by family and friends who attended the wedding. Everyone felt it was a lovely place to hold this sort of function and many mentioned they would love to just come and have a few drinks/cocktails. I felt this too. I would certainly recommend The Ginger Viking to friends and family, we all had a thoroughly great time there. 👍👌⭐️

Soup was awful, tasteless, not even a trace of leek and potato as described. Waste of money , dreadful. It was hot flour and water , like bechamel sauce only thinner.

Back StreetWhat a find just by chance popped in on a Sunday lunch time to find plenty of tables that were filling up fast we decided the Sunday carvery was a great idea the staff are all so friendly and happy to help what can i say about the food well the quality was amazing all cooked beautifully I would recommend this place to everyone

Main StreetHad the most amazing Sunday lunch to celebrate a special 93rd birthday. The staff decorated specially in just the perfect window area of the pub. The atmosphere is so welcoming including kids and even the dogs! The staff and service was just excellent. Sunday lunch we all immediately opted for the Roast beef which was cooked to perfection and comes with a huge Yorkshire pudding, roasties, all your fave veggies and the best stuffing I've ever tasted! Pudding was an easy choice for most with an all time fave of Sticky Toffee Pudding but I chose the Rice Pudding with apples & homemade honeycomb.....every mouthful tasted like apple crumble, it was delicious. Coffee and birthday cake to end a wonderful lunch in a gorgeous setting which even included a quick trip to the playpark conveniently located across the street :) We will absolutely be back!!! ♡
