Only the second time I’ve been during a trip to blandford. Will always support independent cafes rather than chains. I am so delighted with this cafe. Staff 100%, food exceptional, toilet very clean and well stocked. Very good value and as I couldn’t finish my lunch they even packed it to go for me. Really excellent customer service will never go anywhere else when in blandford

What a lovely place , great lady who was working in there. Gave us lots of information what goes on few evenings a week. Worth a visit and a Gem place.

Visit often and it’s always excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the town as the quality is consistent

On a short visit to Blandford. Discovered The Kitchen and what a delightful discovery. Highly recommended, served quickly and pleasingly presented good food, by attentive staff. Without hesitation we shall return.

Great for a quick meal. Just as well, as we went in on a Saturday just before the 2.30 pm cut off and managed to leave by closure at 3.00 pm. This was a return visit as we had enjoyed a previous meal and just happened to be in town. We both had the freshly made Welsh rarebit which was ok, but not as my Welsh wife remembered it. We both thought the homemade pickle excellent. The meal was washed down with a big pot of tea. The staff were friendly and considering how close we were to the end of their day, surprisingly welcoming. We did not have time for one of their delicious ice deserts from an amazing machine but will next visit.

We had amazing coffee, and food was absolutely delicious! I ordered the sourdough with avocado and bacon and egg. Didn’t scrimp on the avocado at all. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely cafe in the heart of Blandford Forum. Fantastic customer service, some of the best I’ve experienced in a long time. The coffee was excellent and the homemade cake delicious. Will definitely return when in town! The supper club menu looked amazing and incredible value, a shame I’m not in Blandford often…

My second visit here. It’s absolutely what you’re looking for in a cafe! It ticks all the boxes! Delicious home cooked food which is beautifully served with generous helpings. The staff are super efficient, friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere is welcoming and today they had Christmas music playing! Brilliant! I will definitely be going back again and again.

Popped in with my little lad today for lunch. Never ever disappointed. Good honest quality menu with great service. Totally recommended. Lovely venue.

A fantastic welcome! A nice straight forward menu,plenty to choose from. Plus the daily specials board. Not expensive either. We will make it a regular stop.

I ended up here as the cafe up the road was closed for no reason. I got the toasted sandwiches, my wife has waffles and my friend had soup. We also had 2 teas and it was all good. The only downside was that it was about 24 degrees outside and inside was about the same. If you're looking for a family run cafe with an old world feel to it, you might want to try it out. The bill came to just over 20 notes. Well worth a visit.

A great place for either a cuppa or lunch. A menu of old favourites and tasty new dishes. Excellent service, reasonably priced and a central location. The coffee is really good!!

Booked the Kitchen for a private 18th Birthday Party for friends and family. What a lovely little venue with excellent service! I can not stress enough how perfect this venue is for a private function, great location great decor great food great staff. Totally recommend!!

Had lunch here with my husband and we both enjoyed our lunch very much. The food was very fresh and well presented. We had the Feta Tart and Croque Monsieur and enjoyed the generous salad garnishes that came with each meal. At £9 per meal it was excellent value. Will definitely return when visiting Blandford again.

Nice selection of lunch options. I had a tarte flambee with a lovely side salad and my friend had avocado on sourdough with mushrooms and tomatoes which she enjoyed. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I would definitely go back there.
