Absolutely fantastic restaurant; what a find! Just home from a short stay in Blanford and we found this restaurant close to our hotel. It was so good we went back, twice! Amazing steaks; highly recommend the tomahawk to share and the fillet was divine. Great choice of other dishes on the menu too and a top notch wine list. We will definitely be returning! Thank you to Lauren and all of the staff ⭐️

We visited Jerry's on a rainy July evening whilst on a short break. My partner and I both thought our starters and mains were excellent, as was the friendly service. Would definitely recommend and would visit again if in the area.

Visited Jerrys with family, and I can honestly say the burgers are just fantastic! Wow. Thick, juicy beef patties and lots of accompliments. My husband ordered the beef chilli loaded fries and they were just outstanding. Huge portions too! The whole restaurant is very classy, and it is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. We loved it and will absolutely be back soon.

Superb pint of beer and friendly service - ice cold Moretti, perfect in every way. Great to be able to sit outside overlooking the square on a summer’s evening.

I've been for a drink before, but I have not had food there. Went on my birthday for a meal, and I have to say one of the best fillet steaks I have had in a very long time. If you are very hungry, have a starter as you get a lot on the main meal. The wait time for your food is quick. The staff are great and the place looks great. We will be going again.

Context: I am a steak lover: I spend a lot of time learning about how to cook steak well. My partner and I came to Jerry's for lunch (not expecting service to be the same as dinner). To my great surprise, they had a full steak menu. I requested a ribeye which I wanted medium-rare (despite the menu advice to request as medium). It came to me medium-rare, perfectly seasoned and delicious. The chips were homemade and well-cooked, as where the on-the-vine tomatoes and mushrooms. The peppercorn sauce was clearly made in-house. I've been to Jerry's twice now, with some slight skepticism, and they've absolutely defeated me each time. Speaking to the owners, they have exactly the right model for an independent steakhouse - utilising local beef and produce. The setting is great - great music and vibe, with a beautiful selection of wines and beer. It's definitely a grilled steak rather than seared, but the meal (and the steak) was absolutely delicious. The chef understands how to caramelise the crust of the steak whilst keeping the internal temperature correct for off-menu requests (medium rare etc). It was, quite simply, one of the best steaks I've had at a restaurant ever. My partner and I shared the best Biscoff cheesecake we've ever had. Brilliant meal. Please do not miss if you're looking for a go

Both myself and my partner attended this restaurant after hearing it’s worth a visit. Must admit we were a bit apprehensive due to the places we have visited before with disappointing steaks not only the cut but how it’s cooked. Nothing like a good moan but and this is a big but this is truly one of the best fillet steaks we’ve had in years not just the steak but the whole meal, with plenty of flavour cooked to perfection. Was also great to see the owner talk to customers old and new made us feel very warm and appreciated. Couldn’t fault the food or service worth every penny definitely looking forward to going back. Birthday lunch , had sirloin steak , no need for a steak knife , tender meat very well cooked , wife had sizzling chicken , again tender perfectly cooked meat

Excellent steakhouse and restaurant. Really wonderful and personal service from the staff, very friendly and welcoming. The food was overall excellent, my steak was slightly underdone (asked for medium rare but got very rare) but I personally prefer that to overcooked, my wife's was a perfect medium rare. Very tasty nonetheless and well seasoned. Huge helping of chips as well, could even maybe do with a few less! A delicious sauce or garlic butter is also included in the price which is a nice touch. Don't miss the homemade desserts, they're expensive but absolutely to die for delicious, one of the best sticky toffee puddings i've had without doubt. Good selection of drinks as well, and not too unreasonable cost wise. We will be back!

Good welcome, good menu, but let down by poor steak t-bone full of gristle and since. Wooden platter swamped in chips, with a mushroom and two cherry tomatoes. At £25 poor value. My wife ordered a steak sizzler and the strips of beef were tough and chewy. It was sent back with only 2 mouthfuls attempted. Chief came out and tried to tell us that he buys from a local supplier and that's the way it comes. I'm not worried we're it comes from, as the customer I want a good steak and a good deal/value for money. Not an excuse on why I should pay a premium for poor ingredients. Give it a wide birth.

Visited here for my birthday meal, and what an excellent idea that was. First of all when we arrived we were greeted and seated in an excellent friendly manner, once food order placed it was all cooked fresh and arrived quicker than expected. The food was amazing, I had sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection, my partner had classic burger, he said the best burger he’s had, my mum had butterfly chicken which she thoroughly enjoyed and my daughter had southern fried chicken and chips. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and all said how unbelievably good the chips were. After we had eaten at our leisure, we then had another round of drinks whilst we looked over the desert menu. 3 of us had desserts and again we were not disappointed. They were absolutely amazing and all home made, def best crème brûlée mum said, daughter was pleased with brownie sundae and I had biscoff cheesecake. The atmosphere was lovely, the service and food couldn’t fault it at all, portion sizes were great value for money and of great quality, will definitely visit again very soon.

We popped into Jerry's Steakhouse for the first time for lunch. I tried their Bacon and Cheese burger. Their chef certainly knows how to make a stellar burger. The patty was seared, juicy and brought to a perfect medium rare. The brioche bun was toasted nicely to protect it. The lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the melted, smoked cheddar and bacon were great. The burger sauce cut through the smokiness. It was delicious. I'm very excited to come back to try some steaks.

Went here for a group of 7 for a birthday meal. The service and food was very impressive the chef and staff went out there way to make us feel welcome and ensure we left satisfied. The Butchers opposite the restaurant that the chef said he gets his meat from is also very good ! Great experience will be returning same time again next year.

Amazing service and an impeccable chef. I mistakenly ordered a fillet steak on arrival was a very dense cut the chef cooked it further on request with no complaint. On coming to check with the table he had cooked me another fillet steak for free as he was not happy previously 10/10 service 10/10 food absolutely discard the comment below about a rude chef couldn’t be further from the truth.

We had a Christmas celebration here, for several small businesses in Blandford. It was a great night. The food was excellent, the staff fun, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. Thanks to Lauren and her team for a fab night. More photos to follow.

Decided to take the family for ameal out locally at the new Steak House. The interior clean and tidy, waiting staff very good also. The letdown was the food. We ordered steak only to find that chilli was put on all of them but never mentioned in the menu. One of the party could not eat chilli so we asked how it to be removed. The wooden board was taken away and chilli scrapped off thesteak and then returned with chilli seeds still visible on the steak. We complained again and this time the chef came out and said 'why should he have to cook a new steak' We definitely won't be returning especially with the extremely high cost that went with it.

Excellent family restaurant- superbly clean, staff and manager Lauren very attentive to every need. Food exceptional - steak cooked to everyone’s preference. Recommend the baileys moose for dessert. Great place to host family gatherings for birthdays - weddings etc. decor of the restaurant very relaxing atmosphere . Highly recommend they even put up with me drunk and excitable for my birthday treat.

What a wonderful place. Great well cooked steaks all round. My fillet definitely in my top 3 best steaks of all time. The service was great; all the serving staff including Kiera our table server were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Lovely to have a new place in town…it deserves to be successful. Can’t recommend highly enough!

The food was beautiful. I had the sirloin steak with garlic butter and chips. The steak was perfectly cooked and was honestly one of the nicest steaks I’ve had. The staff were brilliant. Harry was excellent, he was very sweet and lovely. Did his job perfectly so 5 stars for him.

Fabulous restaurant for a great night out, food and wine amazing. Staff could not be more helpful. Steaks and sizzlers are our favourites, but they also have excellent pasta and risotto.

We booked an evening at Jerry's to celebrate a bundle of ruby wedding anniversaries. We had an excellent time from the moment we walked through the door! We were greeted by Jerry and shown to our table by Lauren who couldn't have been more attentive...

Dropped in for a Saturday lunch, fairly busy by 12.30. Great sirloin steak perfectly cooked & prawn sizzler dish was spicy & tasty. Nicely refurbished building, owner checking everyone was being looked after. Young friendly staff but a bit disorganised & still learning the job....
