Kfc in North Dorset

First and last time. After being charged £60 for car parking because of poor service. We went here as a family for my granddaughter's birthday. We arrived in 4 vehicles but I was the only one that received a parking fine. We managed to find seating for our party of 13, which wasn't easy on a busy Friday night. But because we were in a large party our order just kept getting put to the end of the queue. It eventually turned up about 45 minutes later, which is was why I received the parking charge. Thanks very much KFC We won't be returning in the future and would strongly advise others to do the same.

This KFC nice, small and clean. Food was great and very delicious. Staff was friendly and nice. Good price and my children love the chicken.

Sadly the place is looking run down.

Always something missing from my order I've been here countless times and I don't think they have got one of my orders right

Fast friendly service food account

I never have my food given to me at the drive-through, even when ordering via the app. Defeats the whole point of having a drive-through and fast food service. a very long wait and hard to park in the small carpark with everyone waiting for their food. Very disorganised. Then to have your food delivered to your car 25 mins later.

AVOID. The worst KFC I ever ave been to. It's so dirty, floors look like that haven't been cleaned for a long time, toilets are so dirty. The tables were all dirty, staff stood around not doing anything and it wasn't busy. Never been to this KFC before and genuinely shocked that a franchise is allowed to be left to get so bad. The floors were so dirty your feet stick to the floor.

The food is very good and always hot. But the atmosphere is not that great

As you would expect of a KFC over over busy so quick turn around and plenty of parking

Visited today,dreadful,dreadful,dreadful,soggy stone cold chips,disgusting slimy chicken lukewarm warm bargain bucket all chicken legs ,apathetic staff,filthy filthy tables ,toilet best not go in there use petrol station opposite,I think kfc needs to consider this site,as for a return visit not a chance and I am local ,hate wasting money verdict pay your money then throw it away yuk.

First time going to this KFC and will be the last. Food was cold by the time I got home (8minutes away) and they forgot my meal. £40 spend on a couple mini fillet burgers, popcorn chicken, BBQ wrap and chips because they forgot my meal. Couldn't be bothered to go back. Don't recommend.

Food was cold and rather unpresentable I had to send hot wings back as they were cold when they were kindly brought them back they weren't much better they certainly were not fresh. The entire experience of KFC was absolutely pathetic greacy slippy floor sub standard food generally very poor and it wasn't even busy! I guess the locals know to avoid what is obviously a very low standard establishment and the toilets revolting. I would be ashamed if I was the manager and if I was the franchise owner I'd sack the manager.

me and my mrs alyssa came here and it was the most scrumptious meal we have ever had, i love the fact they put snot in my meal and toenails, yumyumyum my wife thoroughly enjoyed it as much as i did, not only snot and toenails but hair aswell!! yum!

Review I am usually a fan of KFC, but my experience this evening was very disappointing. The quality of the food was far below the usual standard. The chips had clearly been reheated, and the chicken was dripping with fat to the point that it could only be described as slimy. Additionally, the service left much to be desired. As soon as we sat down to eat, a staff member repeatedly told us the restaurant would be closing in 15 minutes, even though the website stated it would be open for at least another hour. It was clear he wanted us to rush, as we could see his frustrated gestures reflected in the glass. This kind of behavior undermines the entire team’s efforts and leaves a poor impression. I also have serious concerns about the hygiene standards of this particular staff member. He appeared disheveled, and while he wore a hairnet, it wasn’t being used effectively. His hands looked visibly dirty, which raised concerns about him handling and preparing food. This individual, in my opinion, would benefit from retraining to ensure proper hygiene and customer service standards. It’s a shame to see the standards at KFC drop so significantly. I hope improvements are made to restore the quality and experience I’ve come to expect.

Beautiful freshly cooked chicken, hot and plenty. Staff very helpful.

You never get what you order, there is always a difference or shortage, and the food is not fresh, it has been reheated to the point of being hard.

Hi we had a very enjoyable tasty meal catching up with an old mate I hadn't seen for ages on Wed.16 oct it was dark and tipping down outside so it was good to be in the warm and we took our time as it wasn't busy . BUT now I have received a parking ticket for staying to long !!! KFC please address this problem not very customer friendly

Would give it 5 stars, but the floor was like an ice rink, mop up crew, not just stick signs up

Delicious, fresh food, I recommend it!

Food- no complaints, every time I've been my food has always been hot and most other KFC's I've been too are really bad with that usually results in cold food. They're good with getting your order right, without missing items or a completely different order. Service- I had no problems, I go through the drive thru, staff are kind, service with a smile. Atmosphere- Like I've said I go through the drive thru but the times I have sat in I've had no problems at all.

Not bad atmosphere the food was ok but the carpark was very small and problematic being where it was . Lots of litter everywhere

3rd visit in a row where certain staff have pretended not to see me... only one fella there that has his head screwed on, rest of them need sacking but are probably related to the owner...

After reading all the negative reviews on here we went to this KFC with very low expectations and mainly due to a lack of choice. We arrived late at 9:30 and although they had no gravy they gave us lots of replacement items to compensate. Food was delicious and everything fresh and crispy. The young guys working here are doing a great job! Friendly service too.

The toilets were disgusting, my shoes stuck to the floor like I was in a 90's rave at midnight. Womens was also out of order so has to use the disabled toilet. Despite there being only a handful customers and plenty of staff the restaurant looked like a bomb hit it, Bins overflowing, NO clean tables, most had rubbish on and around them, all the chairs and tables were so greasy they were slicker than a bald tyre on a wet road. There were flies around the left out rubbish and to top it off when I received my salad box with cold chicken there were even grease marks on the lid!! Too much!! Avoid this place like you avoid that ex who stole your favourite cd collection (that's an old reference gen Z, ask your parents)

Restaurant wasn't very busy, food was quick. Presentation of food nowhere near anything you see on promotions, to be expected but still slightly disappointed. Limited offering on crisp flavours for meal deal which was also disappointing. Certainly room for improvement

Got food poisoning Sunday and been out of commission all week to this day. Always heard bad things about shaftesbury kfc but disgusted to be falling victim to it personally as I always gave it a chance despite. As soon as I'm well enough to move I'll be getting proof from the Dr's. Vomiting. Shaking. Joint pain. Fatigue. Migraine. Fever. I've only put 1 star because in order to post I have to put at least 1. If I can find the receipt I'll be getting a damn refund.

Maybe teach staff to use both hands when counting out pieces of chicken for a bargain bucket....ordered a 6 piece, only 5 in there!!!!

Took a long time to get food at drive thru. Chicken wings went the best , gravy was a bit runny.

Had to walk to kiosk to get order on drive though ordered at 8.20 pm got at 8.34 pm to discover yhey have not gone large and no popcorn chicken NOT HAPPY we went large and didn't get large either have attached photo

Great KFC. This outlet has really changed since my last visit a couple of years ago. Called in today and was met by very attentive staff with a smile. Put my order in and was served within a few minutes. Excellent.Will definitely use again when in area. Highly recommended. 5*****

Who doesn't love fried chicken. The snack menu at KFC is great for those of us with hungry kids and a budget.

Standard Kfc food. Nothing to do with this restaurant but why has the zinger tower meal been removed from the menu???

We were served fast and the staff were friendly, we had a wrap of the day it wasn't made very well but its kfc so basically it it what it is.

We ordered in 40 min wait so chased up the order and they had deleted it off the system by mistake. So another 10 minutes wait while they sorted out the order. Food was good when we got it . But the car park only gives you 75 mins to get and eat your food before they throw a £100 parking ticket your way. You are better off with the drive throw.

Stopped on way to holiday down south and needed somewhere to get let the dog out. No outside seating which seemed mad really. Order took ages to be made and was ultimately wrong but didn’t realise until we had driven to the local park to eat as there were no outside seating areas. The wrap I had was gross clearly old dead salad used. Felt like it was a massive waste of nearly £20!

Went thru drive thru ,asked to park up. After waiting 30 mins , for a small order , and seeing other cars coming and going with bigger orders, I had to go in , where there were plenty of staff, no organisation what so ever .

Not good I'm afraid. Soggy chips - greasy chicken. And worse, poor service. My take away bag was screwed up and left on the counter for a while before being unceramoisously passed over. Normally happy to go to this place for a quick meal. Will be a while before I retunr - hopefully will pick up next time?

Ordered via app, told to wait in the car park and after 25 minutes waiting in the sweltering heat we went in to find out what was happening and they had missed off our order. And all they offered as compensation was a lousy free drink. Not the first time we have used this KFC but service was bad then when we ate in.

Probably the cleanest KFC I've visited. Visited mid afternoon and had the place to myself. Nice spot for a sit down.

Possibly the worst KFC I have ever been to ..dirty, customer service is non existent..waited 25 mins after abandoning the drive thru which we waited for 10 mins for no one to take the order ..the problem is it wasn’t even over busy …food was just warm soggy chis we only ordered a 6 pcs bargain bucket so nothing complex !…..if I was KFC HQ I would be shutting this place down sacking the staff before your brand name is destroyed by this branch or if it is a franchise take it away fast!

We went through the drive-thru and even though it was very busy, the staff were still very friendly and the food was great.

What a weird place does not sell coffee

The chips were cold and limp. The chicken was greasy and the coating over cooked and brittle and so much ice in the Pepsi there was very little Pepsi. The fast element of fast food was missing as well. The time it took to serve our order implied it was cooked fresh, it was not! KFC is simple food so there is no excuse for doing it badly. At least the girl at the window was pleasant. Avoid at all costs!

Kfc seriously need to sort this branch out. No cards at till,only at kiosks which would be ok,except only one working again...causing a stupid queue,most staff appeared to be eating and drinking behind the kitchen rather than actually working...then half my order was missing. Utterly crap,I would avoid

The place where people go in and never come out as the waiting times are RIDICULOUS!!! It’s the same every time. I wouldn’t ever go there but my son was so hungry after a days biking.

I went in the drive though, waited in a long line to then be told they are not doing crushems at the moment. I was really disappointed as it’s my favourite drink but not everything goes right. But then I see a employee walk out of the back, with a bag and walk away from the takeaway with a crushem. I know he was an employee because when I was waiting in line he was moping the floor. I don’t appreciate being lied to and I’m very dissatisfied with the situation!!

Had to repeat order through drive through as staff member said "Sorry wasnt listening"...got home to find one of the two buckets we had ordered was missing so had to drive miles back again to sort..ruined an evening with my family..just shocking..wont be going back again...

Paid 18 pounds for a bucket which is already expensive and it was missing 8 hot wings. Missing one thing is acceptable but this is ridiculous. I have been to this kfc a few times and it’s a normality that the order is incorrect. I won’t be returning here again and if anyone reads this please check what you get before you drive home. Or even better, don’t waste your hard earned money.

Worst kfc I’ve ever had old dry chicken could have been from last week Sat in queue half hour terrible

You call tell by the crew of eastern European staff smoking outside the kitchen as you pull up that this is not going to be a good experience. I was in the drive-through queue so risked it. Big mistake! The food was covered in grease and had two days of food poisoning afterwards, avoid like the plague!

stopped for a quick takeaway - 10 piece bucket - 6 thighs & 4 drumsticks, nothing else - a rip off. No wings, no breast.

Had been debating for two hours on a Friday night to go get food from there, turn up at 9 and the drive thru is shut but website says drive thru is open til midnight. Was in my pyjamas so couldn’t go in. Annoying! Update your website

Popped in for a chicken and fries treat. Service was very quick and efficient inside considering it was a Friday night and rush hour around 6pm. Note - Defence Discount is accepted here. Chicken was great, hot and nicely cooked as always, fries were also hot and tasty. Nice meal here and efficient staff.

After arranging to meet a friend at this KFC l arrived in the car park surrounding the KFC. Within a few minutes my friend arrived and because the car park was empty she was able to park beside me. We hugged and greater in the usual way and chatted as we walked into the restaurant. With a few people in front of us we chose to share a meal a 6 piece bargain bucket and ordered. We waited as a large order was put together for a family in front of us , then our meal was served to eat in. We sat down and with a choice of clean tables to sit at. I have no complaints with the meal whatsoever it was hot and good. We slowly ate whilst chatting and enjoyed the meal and each others company. We chatted on slowly sharing the 1.5 L bottle of drink whilst the meal went down. There were plenty of tables available all the time we were there. We said our goodbyes and left in our different directions happy and satisfied. Now you can imagine my horror when a few days after l received a PNC parking fine demand for overstaying in the KFC car park. My friend didn't receive one so me arriving a few minutes before her pushed me into what l now know is a 75 minute parking limit . After revisiting to check l realise l must have been suffering from sign blindness and not expecting a stand alone out of town KFC car park to have a limit on it. I take full blame and have paid the £60 fine. I just wanted to warn others to beware as this makes for an very expensive meal.

I dropped in for lunch today at 12PM, service was fantastic from two ladies behind the counter, the chicken was hot, fresh and plentyful, the Fillet Burger same..one of the laides asked how my meal was I replied 'excellent'All washed down with a loveley cup of tea!Well done and thank you to all concerned for excellent service and food.

Awful, awful. I had friends from Bulgaria over here and thought I would give them the KFC experience. I tried and failed. Fries were soggy, limp and cold and the chicken looked like it had been kicked about on the floor.Total waste of money. Avoid.

Good carpark. However, entering the KFC the interior looked minimal and bare. There was only one lady taking orders. Halfway through taking my order she left me to deal with another customer's complaint.No-one else to deal with the problem so had to wait for 5 minutes. (I hate to be ignored in the middle of an order.)As for the food. No french fries but some cold, home-made, soggy, tasteless chips and a tiny portion at that. Had to ask for condiments, sauces, salt, sauces as all kept behind the counter apart from sugar! The serving lady had no charisma and was not customer-friendly.Went to the toilet and the whole of the floor inside and outside had just been washed and mopped and was very,very slippery and there were no warning cones or notices. The tap was loose from its setting on the basin.The chairs and tables seemed to be the cheapest possible and uncomfortable. We saw a table that was damaged and a stool with the top all ripped and peeling.It was an extremely poor eating encounter.This is not an experience I want to repeat at this or any other KFC. Have been in much better ones with friendlier staff and condiments readily available (and far more decent chips!)

Visited on a Friday afternoon so it was quiet. Ordered a mighty box for one. Food was very hot and the new style of fries are great. Coffee better than McDonalds. The place was clean, the staff were pleasant and there was plenty of parking. Cannot really ask for more.

The KFC organisation is environmentally despicable. Plastic straws are still used and visitors are never reminded to dispose of their packaging in an environmental way so that the plastic rubbish around the cafe is appalling.

The last thing i said tothe bloke on the checkout was "is my drinks in the bag" and guess what i get home to find only 1 drink. This is the 2nd time this has happened now. Next time i will check before driving off.

Why do I bother coming to this dire franchise?!

Visited this outlet last night after watching a fireworks display locally.whilst ordering our meals another customer came in and fell over on the wet floor,all he got was alright mate and not one member of staff came out to clear the floor or mop up.

Stopped on our way home from holiday. Wished I’d walked out and gone across the road. Service desperately slow and incorrect. Chicken undercooked and taken back. “I hope this one is better” was the response from the clearly undertrained and completely unenthusiastic staff. Regular route and I’ll never be stopping there again.

Disgraceful a bucket of chicken!!! A bucket of bones more like. A real treat for my other half but he won't touch it!! £12 wasted!!! Will never go again!!!!
