Very helpful staff clean I ordered 22 meals to be delivered tonight so I will let you know if it was delivered on time

Not had great experiences from ordering online before but thought we would try again. Ordered food online, half the order turned up and we tried to ring but unable to get through on the phone for 15 minutes, was in my pjs, decided to get dressed and drive up there (so completely pointless ordering delivery) when my daughter phoned to say the rest had been delivered. Food was cold I will not order from here again.

I ordered online and picked up in store. Pizza was soggy and bland and the chips were appalling and clearly reheated. Spent over 40 quid for 3 meals, might as well go to dominos instead.

Ordered online, food turned up over 2 hours later than when it was meant to arrive, ordered two large pizzas and burgers, the pizzas were powdery on top? Really didn’t taste right, pretty vile tbf. Had one slice, binned the rest and it isn’t sitting well. However had the Amy’s special burger and that was fine. Poor service and mostly bad food, no refund offered just a bottle of Pepsi.

Took over 25 minutes for our meals to find out the curry sauce was missing and all of our food was cold and over cooked. Then went back to the shop to get the curry sauce that was missing and they tried asking for payment of it ! It was missing off our order and the staff tried to deny it!

ordered from here while staying local. Had a pizza, chips, fishcake, mushrooms, garlic bread and kebab between our group. Overall, all the food was very good. Cooked nicely and all tasted good, which is what matters. Mushrooms were a bit of a miss but didn't ruin our food. Would recommend if nearby. Also got a bottle of pop free with our order, dont get much free now days!

Almost two hours late, the pizza was not cooked properly, the burger bun was soggy, the lettuce was off.. honestly the worst takeaway I’ve had in years.

The quality of food is amazing, a very friendly staff. Last but not the least Best COD and Chips in town. Highly recommended.

After ordering online for delivery from you 47 times over the past 4 years and 4 months you may have just received the last ever order from me. Just received at 19:22 (Mon 08/05/23) an order with both saveloys blown open (microwaved?), chips cold, chicken/mushroom pie old and chewy (microwaved?) as well as cold. Ali - you need to make this better if you are ever to get any more business from me sorry. UPDATE: A free replacement order the following evening was received which was better thank you.

Best kebab in Shaftesbury must hit it up if you’re not from round the fish and chips, garlic mushrooms, chicken, wraps spot-on, not one fault

I popped into Amy’s for the first time and ordered a Chicken Kebab and Chips. I can honestly say it was probably the best chicken kebab I have ever had. It was superb.The chips were also nicely cooked and well seasoned. I went back in to thank the guy, as I was so impressed. I would highly recommend this takeaway. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I really loved my fish and chips at Amy’s in Shaftesbury!. I understand some people don’t like skinny chips, but the fish was crispy, and tasty, and I will be eating it again!

Just bought two large chicken kebabs with I believe was small just couple pieces chicken and little bit of vegetables I was shocked when I opened the box very poor size as cost me £9 each chips was alright as it cost me £2.50 each I feel now like I just was robbed PS never going to order there again

Trust me I eat anything! We stopped here thinking we’d have some nice fish & chips to finish off our camping holiday. Unfortunately it wasn’t nice! In fact it was terrible. The chips were not cooked and were definitely not fresh. The fish was coated in some awful slimy batter. £18.50 for two cod and chips that were inedible spoilt the end of a lovely break in Shaftesbury

Decided to give Amy's another go, mistake. Truly the worst fish and chips ever, dry chips and tasteless fish. Sad to leave such a terrible review, but it these times of financial constraints, £15 for two smaller portions, it's not good.

Food was nearly 2 hours late and freezing cold! Sauces,cheese and salads all missing off orders! A member of staff agreed to give me a refund on Monday yet no refund received and everytime I call I'm told a different day or different excuse so looks like I won't be getting my money back!! Was a £40 order that was not edible! AVOID THIS PLACE!! Staff are extremely rude! Swearing at me and moaning about where they deliver too and how much they charge yet that's their choice! UPDATE- after waiting over a week I went in to the shop and eventually i got my money back! Will never make the mistake of using here again!!

It was cooked to order, so very hot. Chips not the best but edible, fish a little tasteless but they wouldn't have known that. Batter was very nice.

Delivery guy was very rude, he snatched the money and receipt from my hand and left the place without saying anything.

Food was disappointing, fish was soggy, large chips was the same size as a small so kids were still hungry after. The amount spent would have thought better food would be presented. Wouldn't buy from here again.

just to update, Amy's are still the best takeaway in Shaftesbury, i ordered food for pick up, i made a mistake, it should have been a delivery, when i phoned them to say where is it, they said i ordered a collection, my fault but they delivered it in 5 mins after making the phone call, this fast food company is great and would recommend it to anyone who likes this food

Took over hour and half for delivery when called up got told it had just left shop still nothing half hour later had to call again, when finally arrived food was cold and delivery driver rude I will never order again.

If your looking for good food this is not the place for you. I would rather support a takeaway that cares about the quality of the food and not taking 2 hours for delivery. Even when we phoned to ask where it was they couldnt even care neither could the driver

Ordered a cod and chips for delivery.. The chips were French fry style and undercooked. The cod was over cooked and dry. Won't be ordering from there again.

Kebab. Was a little salty . Wouldn't say no if it was close by but wouldn't go out of my way to get one.

Bad experience tonight. Food So dry and stuff missing. Not to mention the bbq sauce upside down in the bag all over the other food. They reordered are meals but turning up at 11pm put me off waiting. Now going to bed with a stomach rumbling. I never had problems before. Disappointed tonight 😡.

Not impressed, received my order 1hr and 30 minutes after ordering. When the take away finally arrived the BBQ sauce lid was left open and had leaked all over the food inside the bag. The food itself was dry and missing items that i had paid for, and the Donnor meat and Chips with Cheese arrived with no cheese.

I have ordered from Amy's several times in the past and never had any issues. I can tell you I am writing this currently as I wait for the restaurant to drive all the way back out to me (11 miles) to drop off part of my order that wasn't even made yet alone given to the delivery driver. My fish & chips quite frankly is horrible -- I have left 90% of it as the batter is soggy & stodgy as hell. I could tell even before I opened it up just by the fact that my box was soaked through from grease! Absolute let down. I'm assuming it's under new management and can safely say I WILL NOT be ordering again from them.

We have ordered from amys for a a couple of years, it must now be under new management, it is disgusting, I ordered fish and chips a month or so ago, the fish and batter was soggy really poor, yesterday I order kebab and a burger, this was very poorly made and the order was not read correctly, the order was wrong completely. I will never be ordering again from amys, be careful anyone who orders from here. You can not ask for sauces separate without an extra charge, althought on website when ordering your given choices,this shop has gone down hill fast. Terrible assistant when called back, this kebab shop is the worst. Terrible disgusting poor cooking skill.when I phoned back to discuss order being wrong, I was told it was my fault. Never again, if I could of put lower than 1 star I would of.

Not only very poor quality of food but the wrong food delivered. Either the restaurant is under new management or the management have lost interest. Never ordering from here again.

Delivery was very slow, double the estimated 45 minutes on a Thursday night, but the food is always good!

Been eating the tripe from the half a job kebab shop in Sturminister Newton Found out after 4 months living in Sturminister Newton from a local , that this place delivers and it highly decent ! Order via the webpage Itit has an excellent ordering system where you can even order the amount of solid the amount of sauce and there is no messing about if you order a large with extra doner meat the thing was huge only that it was so tasty The donner meat taste like proper lamb the sources are high grade and salad is fresh an tasty TEN OUT TEN The order and delivery was extremely quick and come much sooner than expected The cheese and chips were excellent the crispy chips oh my dayzeeeee If passing through this is the only place to eat

Had amys last night, and have come down with really bad food poisoning few hours after would NOT recommend this to anyone it's horrendously disgraceful. Never ordering from here again

Staying at the bramble barn cottage we were itching for a nice traditional english fish and chips and after seeing the menu for Amy's takeaway wed thought wed hot the jackpot. Sadly this place was in fact a chicken kebabs and fish shop. Very sub par. After spending £30 with them they thought it was fair to charge 75p for 20ml of ketchup. The chips was what I believe frozen then fried and the "jumbo" sausage in battered was laughable and should frankly be scrapped off the menu coming in at a solid 4". By far the worst fish and chips takeaway I've ever had.

Food got sloppy when they introduced kebabs etc. As well as customer service which deteriorated. No longer visit this business.

Well not happy with what I ordered !! If You are thinking about starting up an oil company Then yes this is the place to get your oil from. I ordered fish and I’ve got a box of oil with that and I ordered Donna meat and chips i’ve got about 10 chips which are dripping in oil so could not actually eat them, really disappointed

Food is really bad had scampi and it was off, ordered a curry sauce and it come in one of them little sauce pots you get in domino’s I was absolutely shocked by this wouldn’t recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Delicious kebabs, generous portions and delivered piping hot with a smile! What more could you want?

First order was stunning, not sure what happened this time, order was missing cheese which paid extra for. It was sorted very quickly after a phone call so not a complaint just annoying. Asked for extra sauce but was so small I added more when here. Only minor things otherwise 5* as food was delicious and the pricing is spot on. Will be going again regardless as anyone can have an off day

The food is awesome been here few times now, & only once when I didn't think much of the fish n chips (but we all have an off day) that we had, but every other time no complaints

Big portions, delivered on time, very good fish BUT... Not proper chip-shop chips! What a let down! Chips were fine for a kebab/burger/chicken shop, but for fish and chips it's got to be proper chips, and I'm pretty sure they used to be. Such a shame as the area could really do with a decent chippy. Update...stopped by for chips today, even worse than before, skinny fries, utterly lousy cheapo ones at that. Not a fish and chip shop at all just another bog standard kebab/pizza gaff.

Fantastic quality fast food. Very nice pizzas, a full range menu. The food is hot and tasty, and they deliver. Good online menu ordering. We have used them a few times now, so can recommend them and their service.

Wonderful eatery. Huge portions of quality cooked food. Best Kebab I have had in ages, with loads of fresh salad. Fish is equally good. Would highly recommend!

Waited half an hour then they got the order wrong, they said don't worry will sort. Got home to find order was completely wrong so took the whole lot back. Very disappointing.

Absolute rubbish and the chips were uncooked, battered sausages were so hard even the dog had a job to bite them.😈😈

At last! A really good fish and chip shop in Shaftesbury. Freshly cooked fresh fish and crispy chips served in cardboard boxes which can be recycled. No sweaty fish in polystyrene here so please give this business your support.
