Subway in North Dorset

Bit confused about the card I have a subway card but was told I have to scan QR code which I don't have so lost out on points

Very functional place though I enjoy sitting in here to ear Food is OK they do a cheap breakfast up until 11 am which is nice .Coffee is limited to just Americanio though they have a large choice of soft drinks

Clean, only one member of staff serving but he was quick, polite and friendly. Only thing I would say is the place is looking a bit tired. Clean and cared for, but definitely due a refit. I'd go again quite happily. Sub and churro were delicious

I’m not sure if they are under new ownership now as it’s all new staff in there and it dosent seem they know what to do, sub I ordered wasn’t what they made and when I said that’s not right he just nodded smiled and put it in the merry chef to cook, lady in front of me ordered a coffee when she said it was cold he just put it in the microwave. Watery coke machine as always

Impressed with the delightful service given by the young lady this evening, who was both courteous and polite throughout. The place was also spotless and pleasant to eat in without being cold.

Would’ve been a 3 star experience if it wasn’t for the miserable chap who was in a huff with us from the moment we walked in. We assumed this was because we’d interrupted a show he had his headphones in for and was watching while we sat in to eat. Not very professional. He couldn’t even make a good sub to make the experience better 👎

Great food with friendly service

Increasing my review from 1 to 4 stars, they have hired some new people who are not rude, I’ve started coming back here and the food quality is decent.

Walked in and straight out. The place is infested with flies. Poor hygiene standards.

So much better than before. Obviously made some improvements. Service was a little slow as for some reason they only had 1 worker over lunch, but he was great. Atmosphere is difficult as it's such a small store - I wouldn't want to eat in. Food was good, but for some reason they just didn't have anything we wanted - some kind of stocking issue. Waited 30 mins for my subway with only 2 couples and 1 single in front. Servers mates then came in and started chatting to him adding further distraction. Had to repeat order 3 times. Only 1 server. People were leaving to go to KFC next door due to the wait- which is where I will definitely be going!

Helpful staff and nice and clean

Lovely and clean shop. But they have stopped doing spinach.

Not impressed. They don't do the kids pack meals, children's subs are ridiculously small and they don't do the Blue Light Card discount. The subs were pretty badly put together. It took me ages to pick out all the soggy paper from mine before I could eat it. Overall not impressed, I won't go there again.

Food is tasteless and overly expensive

Yes very good I like it in there .Nice coffee and had a great bacon roll ..Staff are pleasant mannered and helpful .There is a rest room which is handy and one can relax and enjoy ones meal

Ordered via the app. The store was closed due to a broken till. The guy made the sandwich and brought it out but when I got home, the sub was half cold and half warm. Not impressed!

Tables were dirty with rubbish left uncleared on them when we entered; chairs in disarray, not even remotely inviting to dine-in. Food served from dirty containers and counters. Subs were sloppily prepared at best, falling apart and carelessly put together at worst. The server who wrapped our subs did so with one sheet of paper and then handed them to us. Customer service was non-existent.

Absolutely shocking, went to Shaftesbury subway near the KFC this morning at 09.30 with my partner, the stores opening times were clearly displayed on the door which stated open at 0700. When we arrived we found other customers waiting outside in the cold or their cars and the door locked. There was one woman inside and she could clearly see customers at the door and she just ignored them at one point she laughed and smirked when customers starting knocking at the door.

No welcome trough the door and when asking when meatballs will be ready. shrugs shoulder is a comment I said what time. Not sure yet This was 11.30 am The place has always let me down here

Went in about a week ago and they only had one type of bread available , and today for breakfast menu you have a choice of bacon! No sausage , no egg. I think someone needs to manage the stock properly.

Never any meatballs. NEVER. Ran out at only one type of bread. This is from 13:00 and they close at 19:00. Joke of a store. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Very friendly staff, good parking and much more preferable to KFC next door. Quick turn around without reducing service, impressed by this branch, and Ive been to a few.

Who doesn't love a subway, clean and friendly

Felt for the store manager as she was left by all of her team to work solo.. it was queued out the door and she did an amazing job, kept a smile on her face the whole time and really deserves a pay rise and those who didn’t turn up should be in serious trouble for leaving her all on her own!

There always closing before there actually closing times!

Could be the the worst subway ever. I have been to a few. Every time I go in no mater what time 8am 12am 4pm never ever any meat balls. As one of subways main attractions why is this?

Been here plenty of times over the years and has been so great but have been here twice recently have now witnessed the same experience on both different occasions, I’m never one to put a bad complaint but this is far from okay. we have had a man serve us in there- fairly young, (blonde) couldn’t be more rude and unprofessional- needs going on a customer service course on how to deal/speak to customers. - just beyond rude and makes you feel beyond uncomfortable.

Consistently isn't always there and sometimes a smile isn't either , however always edible and efficient service

Very bad customer service, rude boy at the till, asked for a meatball sub, the rude till operator said bluntly "no meatballs" then asked for a wrap.. his response "no wraps" what kind of a shop is this!!!

Very disorganised! Go in there over an hour before they close, they've ran out of bread!! Had to turn away a whole queue of people! Not great customer service is it?! Lost count of the times have gone in there and they've ran out of stuff,no chicken no ham etc also very very slow compared to other (busier ) subways

friendly but service is very poor. apparently you can't use Subway points to pay for coffe and hot drinks! apparently till does not show this option lol. My guess is hot drink machine has been cleaned and staff just simply don't wanna do it and using excusses lol. No toilet avaible.

Always out of Gluten free bread and veggie options.

Nipped in here to grab lunch today, good service and a decent sandwich. Clean, polite staff… can’t fault it.

The place is clean enough, as the COVID restrictions is lifted, but I was told the toilet is closed to public and we are dine-in, we have to go to the garage next door to wash hands and use the toilet.

Good coffee, good value and a good breakfast deal.

Such a rude customer service, specially the lady, she was being nice to every customer but not me, she shouldn’t even be serving customers, people walked in with no mask and she didn’t say anything, I can’t see any covid rules being put in to place, food was so cold, please don’t visit this store if you value your health and your mental well being.

Small Subway with minimal seating, staff are friendly, always clean and tidy and generous with the sub fillings! COVID SAFE.

Went in to get food and I’m exempt from wearing a mask the bloke on the till shouted at me and told me asthma and mental health issues are not a good enough excuse! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from him!

No vegan meatballs. No vegan cheese. No spinach. No flatbread. When asked when the stock would be back in, the response was we don't know. No ambition to ensure the customer was satisfied. Used to love Subway and would go maybe once or twice a week but this is a joke. Seems as though the company merely jumped on the veganuary bandwagon and have left supporting their efforts to support a Vegan Lifestyle far far behind. Thank you for my last sub Shaftesbury Subway, I won't come back to a limited menu, especially one that doesn't cater for every need. Very disappointed.

This particular branch serves the same good range as all the others. But they would be advised to get the spring tightened on the door as I was sitting in a draught as the door was forever opening in the breeze and I could not relax while enjoying my meal

Lady who works Sunday early shifts is fantastic far better than the rude female manager when she's on she is only interested in flirting with the young men who came into the shop. I regularly visit on Sundays and have started to drive away if she's on she's so rude

Always a great experience here in Shaftesbury as Claire is amazing...she's a fantastic ambassador for Subway! She always gives you a great welcome, a welcome smile and a smile when she gives you your food! I just love visiting here!!! 😀👍😍👍😀

Good but very sparing on the portion sizes have seven pieces of sweetcorn in my sub.

Stopped here to meet a colleague, we enjoyed a hot fresh cup of PG Tips, served with a smile! My only grumble: the toilets were difficult to access...! You have to put in the code from your receipt, dont get caught short....!!!

Sadly they have removed the flat bread from the menu but made up for by the sun blush tomatoes and crispy onions which are delicious. The guacamole is very good too. Still think it's the best value around

I was just passing through Shaftesbury, and this shop has done a service to the town, all the staff were so friendly and happy and helpful. Much better then a lot of Subways. It really makes the difference. Keep up the good work! 👍

Horrible member of staff that was calling some of my friends a pain and just generally agrresive but the food was good

It was the staff, they were sloppy with the food, carried on having a conversation, did not acknowledge us as customers. Correct tgemnon what I wanted as they had not listened to my order. The salad was limp did not look fresh. Will not go back again.

Very rude woman serving us, spoke very abruptly to my son and myself! No customer service to us at all. Spoke to a script, and had no people skills what so ever!! The two women were talking rather negatively and rudely of other staff that work there in front of customers openly!Not impressed!! The fillings inside the sandwich were rationed too, which was shocking how little salad we had!! Overall very disappointing!

Lady spoke extremely rudely to my son (7) on arrival. However this was quickly rectified by the man working with her who was lovely, helpful and polite. The food was good but there was a slightly unclean feel to the feel, even though the toilets require a passcode there was still a state in the toilet and two concerning signs reminding staff to wash their hands

Turned up today Fridsy 27th just before 11.00 for a Maga melt!! 11 people having the same in front of us, after waiting 11 mins to get served, we get told breakfast is over, we said we have been here nearly 15 mins and the lady was so rood and said we came in after 11.00. I said you have just done loads of msga melts after 11 as we all had been waiting for 15 mins, she said we were not able to tell time, I got back to my car at 11 mins past. Really bad service today, she should not work in a fast food place if she can't handle the work load, the lad was next to usless as well. Not good at all, nasty staff and to slow sevice, don't go in before 11.00 staff and sevice are terrible.

Love a good subway after riding

Came and want to order bowl of salad , unfortunately I’ve resigned half way thru . Guy behind the counter completely ignored and dismissed , when I asked when he is not using appropriate tools provided to the business . The service way bellow Subway standard . I won’t be coming back to this one again .

Good sandwich but one of the staff was very rude

Worst subway I ever had never eating one again and to top it off I brought same sub yesterday from different shop but cost me £2 extra here and was soggy and tasteless. rushed service looks like a speed freak ask for sauce didnt even get a chance to see how much i wanted

Great food and lots of customisation, gets busy at peak hours and can take some time to get through the line but honestly not that big of a problem

Nothing to write home about. Food is normally OK but the staff are hit and miss to be honest.
