The best restaurants in Castle Mid Devon South West

We recently visited the house and gardens, and found all the staff very friendly and helpful especially because at present I am unable to get around without a using a walker. The house and furnishing's were magnificent condition considering there age, and have certainly been cared incredibly by the National Trust house team. The gardens are grounds have also been well maintained by the hardworking Volunteers. This property is certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.

Stayed at the Exeter in on 12/10/24 for one night. Room was lovely and we had a very comfortable night. Had our evening meal which was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was wonderful too. Thank you Jonathan and your friendly staffing team. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Super lovely staff, helpful and kind, lively and busy atmosphere but not overbearing, even a christmas tombola out! was a lovely place to stop for a quick coffee.

Always rated this takeaway as the best Chinese takeaway in Tiverton, god knows wot they have done changed cooks or got someone who has no idea, myself and my wife had a takeaway from here n it was awful very bland starter was mix spare rib well over cooked, pancake rolls very greasy taste of nothing. We will NOT be going back.

Cafe in a bakery . Had a lovely bacon baguette & bacon sandwich which we both enjoyed. Cooked to order so very fresh, Friendly staff , other peoples food looked good as well would go there again

Such great food & for a reasonable price too, nicest burger in tivvy by a long way, friendly chef who can’t do enough for ya, deffo be coming back & evening bringing all the family

Service was fine but the pizza was not nice at all. Tasted like very poor quality meats and I couldn't help but feel sick whilst eating it. Chips undercooked and cold

Don’t order a wrap, £9 for a pitta bread with a few chunks of meat. VERY disappointing. Most other things are normally good.

Lots of choice, can get really busy. Cafe staff great and food really good but very popular so not always seats available especially when "kids can eat free" nights.

Customer service was spot on but the food was shocking, all batter was undercooked and soggy, sausages were over cooked, asked for just salt and all the food had way too much on and the chips were just as bad as everything else. Unfortunately the shop closed before we could take the food back

Ordered a pizza online to collect in store, when got there I was told it’s not ready despite ordering it for a specific time….wait in store for 15 minutes to then be told it was ready and been sat on the side all the time I was there!!! Then got told that it wasn’t there that long….cold pizza and a ruined son’s birthday meal….staff were clueless and rude
