Domino's Pizza in Mid Devon - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

I don’t very often order Dominos, nor do I often post a poor review, but unfortunately on this occasion I am left with little choice. I decided to order a large pizza recently from the Tiverton store, and then drove 20 minutes to collect as they (understandably) don’t deliver to my address. Upon returning home after the 45 minute round-trip, I opened the box to discover that the pizza was a mess and should’ve been remade. I worked a short stint at Dominos many years ago and I feel I’m well aware of the standard required, unfortunately on this occasion it just was not met. I contacted the store immediately to discuss this issue, noting that I did not want to get back in the car for another long round-trip to collect a replacement. The lady on the phone told me that there would be a voucher for the cost attached to my phone number, which at the time satisfied my disappointment. I phoned the store approximately 10 days later to claim my ‘free’ pizza using the voucher aforementioned, to find that unfortunately no such thing has been arranged. Money lost. Dominos have a very good reputation in the UK, certainly compared to many other countries, and this experience just does not meet the standard expected. I would imagine that this is not a common occurrence, and that the Tiverton store is probably no better or worse than any other Domino’s, however advice would remain to always open the box and check before leaving the store!

Fab. Online ordering easy - it's the same everywhere, but Tiverton staff are always cheery and it's service with a smile.

First time ordered and we are extremely unhappy. We ordered thin crust pizza (you took that extremely seriously) I didn't know pizza could be that thin! It was just pretty much toppings. And for £12 I expect more of A pizza! If you stated this was going to be this thin we would of ordered A thicker one. When we got home we had been given cookies instead of fries. so had to drive back to get told to wait for the chips. Which was another 10 mins. I wouldn't have minded but we ended up with stone cold pizza and boiling hot chips that were really earthy. Very disappointed with our food tonight. This was supposed to been a treat before our baby arrives as I'm heavily pregnant and was looking forward to a nice Pizza as we got recommended this place. Also no delivery service.

Never order a Pizza on a Bank Holiday + 1st of April

Decent service and I love a domino's but I chose the herbs as an extra topping as I fancied a bit of Italian spin. It was overloaded with it. Completely covered the pizza and was way too much. There should be a way on the app when ordering to ask for a light dusting. Should also just have the option of oregano. Everything else I can't fault.

The pizza here is exemplary of the chain. Every time I've been in the service has been incredible. Google asks for "atmosphere" in restaurants and a place where you go to pick up pizza can't really show much atmosphere, but what they do they do well.

Went to collect my pizza, got ignored by one of the staff and then opened the box to find next to no cheese on my pizza. Disappointed but when your hungry and cold and at work you’d eat it to warm up

Get pizza for the whole team every month here always great. Best takeaway in my opinion

Ordered 2 large pizza's one was a vegetarian option, opened them up to eat them the vegetarian pizza had multiple pieces of meat in it the second pizza had been cooked so much that the cheese had been baked dry.had to throw both away. Would not recommend ordering on a weekend

Great app and lots of deals delivered quickly happy with it all good choices and consistent. It is what it is and it's nice to have the convenience of this in town.

Definitely check your collection before leaving, staff are not managed well enough to get your order right first time. They will not be able to send out a driver to replace anything either, preferring to offer low cost items for free instead of actually fixing the problem at hand. Manager is quick to answer the phone but completely incapable of managing her staff or fixing the issues that causes.

Tried to cash in on a mistake they made last time I ordered, should have learnt my lesson!.... But couldn't do it online so had to phone up.... Was told I couldn't order as I wasn't at the address on my card?! I was at a friend's? Baffling 🤔

They forgot the cheese and burnt the ‘pizza’. Even if it was a bad night that is setting the bar low. I was hungry but couldn’t eat it.

I ordered 2 simple pizzas, one with sweetcorn for my daughter, one for me with staffed crust, I paid extra for it, pizza arrived very quick, veryyyy hot, I'm sure they're very quiet at the moment but everything went wrong, no sweetcorn at all! I ordered extra and no stuffed crust , I paid for it 3£ , very dissapointed, not a first time, I think the staff is not right there and they need careers or something like that because it's not possible to be that stupid 🤷‍♂️

Parking on street pretty easy. Not busy and it was early on a Bank Holiday Friday.

Well, it's pizza. It was pretty good. But...and it's a simple one to solve...the app said it would be about 15 minutes, 35 minute later I went to the store and they'd not yet put it in the oven. It was almost an hour. I wouldn't have minded but the app said 15 minutes.

No option to give 0 stars. They do not even deserve 1 star. Delivery was late, one of the pizzas were wrong and some ham found on the vegetarian pizza. Staff and management didn't care at all when we called them about this. I then tried to complain online but was completely ignored. Will not be ordering here again and would strongly advise you don't either!

Easy to order on the app, friendly staff and prompt time. We had 3 pizzas between 4 of us and that was plenty. Tasty and fresh

Been visiting this Domino's for quite some time now and the quality is consistent and the service speedy. We tend to order beforehand for collection and the timings they give are accurate. Pizzas taste great with the Meteor being a favourite of the household. Did have an issue once where they mixed up the toppings but they were able to resolve this without fuss after a quick phone call. Definitely recommend for quality pizza and service.

Un Domino's pizza comme un autre. Sans charme, avec un service pas spécialement agréable et une nourriture moyenne. Ça permet de se nourrir le dimanche soir quand la plupart des restaurants de Tiverton sont fermés.

This place does not take cash so are refusing to take cash and with a bad attitude

Pizza was cooked in the time we walked from the Hotel, and the food was very good.

Pizzas were on time and felt like I had a reasonable deal, pizzas seemed very salty however

Ordered from Dominos Tiverton roughly around 6 times now. Every single time the food has arrived fast, hot and tasting great. I have a feeling that a bunch of the other bad reviews are just locals that want to keep chains like Domino's out... embrace the chains, I've been living in Cornwall the last 6 months, suffering, eating the local rubbish.

Busy sums it up. But the staff were doing their best on Christmas Eve, so can't complain. The serving guy kept his cool despite customers moaning about the wait, but they can only pizzas so fast can't they?

On a home delivery they refused to deliver and wouldn't give us our money back. They have on another time refused to go to the back door even though they were asked to. The workers inside the shop were very rude im not using them again as this is the 4th time of messing up

Obviously dominoes have never heard of health hygiene and safety as I have seen the staff make pizzas then move onto another pizza without washing there hands. Only 1 or 2 have been wearing face masks,certain delivery drivers drive fast from the back of the shop with no consideration for the children or residents who live there. I won't be using domino's again and I strongly advise others to be very weary about how your foods been handled aswell. They really need a visit from the health inspector!!

Ordered food and it took ages to cook. Food was on ‘quality check’ the whole time and then when I next checked it said cancelled. Staff say that they have phoned when at the address and there is no evidence of a phone call on my phone so my food was chucked away. I hope I at least get a refund. What a joke.

I really like the style of pizzas and they are well-cooked and they have a really wide range of toppings and styles to choose from. My only issue is trying to figure out the best deal to have as there are SO many buy-one-get-one-free or discounted deals.

Just ordered £21 of food. Absolutely disgusting. Could have got it from tesco for £2.50. Stone cold, undercooked, half the order missing. The cookies were hotter than the chicken. Wedges were rock solid and undercooked. We complained about it, deliver driver came back with the missing part of the order. The only good thing about this experience was the delivery driver was really lovely and friendly

Over an hour for delivery, missing and incorrect items, and stone cold food. Edit: first time I've ordered from Domino's for months tonight, and they didn't actually deliver. I contacted them after an hour and they said that I didn't answer my phone so they were unable to deliver, but that is simply not true.

Order at 436 an they took my meal wrong address...Ole girl re made my order an thats only reason they get 1 star cause of her...i jus had surgery an need food fo my meds..n still i wait an no chicken wings..no salad...thats all i wanted...i read the past reviews an thought maybe ..jus maybe this order would go smoothly...but naw..i jus had half my colon takin out but yet im up n down lookin an searchin fo my food...almost 7pm an im not even hungry no more...40 minutes turned into almost 3 hours...jus unexceptable as a business during covid you think they would appreciate everyones business...ill be cookin fo myself from now on..wit lil strength i do have...

It is really good and well made

I went to the store to order my pizzas and was order to leave. So ordered on line and my went out of my account went to pick up and it was there znd money had be put back into my account order had failed. So phoned up outside of shop to order pizza and that worked. Unfortunately they said 20 mins for collection, it took 50 mins to get pizzas. So went happy at all. I will probably go to a local pizza company next time.

Lied about our order. They said it was ready and would be delivered in half an hour. Waited an hour then called and found out our order wasn't even being made. Not happy in the slightest.

Onions tasted stale and we paid for extra toppings on two out of four pizzas and didn't get them😒

Absolutely awful customer service made a order paid online 3 hours waited no food no answering phones just response on Facebook , then messaged saying did I receive food then message saying won't deliver no phone working when I left a message via email leave by doorstep I was obviously waiting there , saw staff deliver to neighbour politely asked if knew about my order accused of being rude and abrupt made a second order they refused to deliver but I believe this is a issue because I customer complained higher upp y not happy all had kids to feed on there time off Fridaynight movie and pizza time like usual so I'm unsatisfied not happy with the way they treat customer's explained family waiting no concern I can't drive anywhere and I'm made out to falsely be rude when I conversated about food disgusting service two time.no food APPALLING SERVICE

Went into the shop to order my pizza rude staff some minor bullying going on in the shop between staff. I went out of shop to wait in my car returned staff where aware I was waiting pizza sat on side getting cold then finally they realised gave me my cold pizza. Returned home to eat another really really tomatoey cold hard pizza. Won't be waisting my money here again

Service not great, mistakes in order, poor hygiene, brushing down oven while pizza coming out, all the dirt just missing the food

Never had a bad pizza from these guys, and I probably get 2-3 deliveries a month (coz I'm lazy 🙄)

Hadn't had Domino's in years as I've not lived near one in ages. So first night in Tiverton after a long day of moving I decided to just have a pizza. Went in and placed order.. £9.99 large pizza and 4 toppings. Pizza cooked, quick drive home, chomped pizza with Pepsi Max and smiled. Boy did that hit the spot. Lovely Jubbly!

If I could give no stars I would tried to order for delivery the staff were playing games and deliberately moking me and making voices now I'm all up for banter but they were damn right rude after 3 times of calling I gave up and called a different pizza place tbh I hope they get sacked so unprofessional

Had a pizza for the first time from here, my youngest could have made a better job putting on the topping. Looks like it back to pizza hut. Very poor for the money.

Ordered online for collection at store. Arrived and screen stated pizza was ready however staff room payment and said it wouldn't be long. After waiting approximately 10 minutes pizza was taken off the warming rack where it had been since I walked in. Pizza was off expected standard from dominoes and collection deal for any pizza for £9.99 is quite good value.

Lovely pizzas. Just check you get charged charged correctly for special offers. Charged for extra topping even though offer is for 2 toppings on your personal pizza

Helpful staff, fast service. The online app is a bit tricky sometimes, but overall a great experience of ordering here. The food is cooked to order and tastes great, and there are plenty of choices, including choices for allergy sufferers. Highly recommend!

I've had pizzas from here many times in the past BUT THE LAST TIME HYGENE WAS VERY BAD staff in clothes that had been out delivery on motorcycle utensils been dropped and pick up and still used

Food is great though I have to question the level of hygiene in there .

The food is very good and lives up to its expectations however when I ordered online I ended up not receiving one of the meals I payed for so I had to go back down to get it. But that was the only problem I had everything else was excellent

Don't get me wrong I do like Domino's pizza it's just stupidly overpriced. A pizzeria over the road with an Italian name is a lot cheaper & has a lot more toppings on their pizza's. Domino's 99% of the time deliver their pizza within 15 minutes of ordering, which is just crazy, but you are paying through the nose for that privilege.
