Found this place by chance and were glad we did. It’s a little gem.
We had the cold take out to heat up later as we were staying in our caravan. We only had two main courses, and both were really tasty and full of flavour.
I had ordered the lamb kebabs, but they cook them fresh so decided to not have those this time. I wish we had ordered them cooked anyway, as even having them cold later I’m sure they would have been nice.
Will definitely go again to try out the other choices.
Simply, it was just good food done well.
My sister and I visited Maggie-Jo's for lunch and breakfast on separate days and had a consistently great experience each time. Wonderful customer service from Richard (one of the owners) who made us feel very welcome and attended to. Food was fresh, tasty and in very generous portion sizes. The cafe was clean and well looked after. We would recommend this lovely friendly cafe to anyone visiting Barry. 😁👍
Lovely meal and super value. I had goulash and mash - and it came with fresh vegetables. My wife had scampi - lots of it - with perfect French fries. A nice bottle oh house wine, a red Temprinello. Finished with a homemade cherry crumble and creamy custard. All for £45!

What a fabulous Mexican restaurant (there is also Italian on the menu) - the food and service were amazing and there were some lovely different Mexican choices. We had the prawns in tomato white wine and chilli plus home made Nachos with the usual toppings to start then a trio of tacos to share (fish, beef and chicken) all with a lovely bottle of Italian Primitivo. The decor is lovely and modern and it is pristine clean. We will definitely be back
We sat outside in the warm evening, and the Tapas menu looked okay, nothing astonishing. Tapas ingredients are, by definition, very cheap potatoes, olives, bread, chicken, tomatoes and yet the prices are really, really expensive,
The food when it came was fine, the bill was not, £100 for two and we left hungry.
A really lovely independent neighbourhood restaurant - a rare gem in Eastleigh! Staff were very helpful and accommodating, the food was freshly prepared and reasonably priced. The atmosphere inside is a lot cosier and more inviting than the photos suggest, I liked the rustic finishes. Would recommend for a romantic evening, a family meal, a group meetup.
La primera vez y volverá a serlo.
Increíble café. Tenía un capuchino que era tan bueno que tuve un corte también.
Gran servicio. Buena relación calidad-precio.
Ve a la cafetería ahora cuando estés en la oficina de Birmingham.
Good quality food and drink, burger restaurant, slightly over priced but nice food and drink, good location in wisbech on lynn road, would use again and recommend
Ordered a takeaway after our usual choice let us down.
Great food and 20% off for takeaways a bonus!
Lovely staff and atmosphere when we went to collect.
What a discovery! Only found it as I took a wrong turning but how lucky I was. Followed signs for Mamf’s Cafe and had one of the best traditional fry ups I’ve had for a long time. Staff exceptionally friendly and accommodating (I do like my bacon done to death and they knew exactly what I meant). I will return.
So good... just so damn good.
Portion size is huge, had them on their own and couldn't finish the portion.
Their burgers are huge too, so I'd recommend sharing unless you have a big appetite.
