Grumpy's Burgers 'n' Dogs in Mendip

So good... just so damn good. Portion size is huge, had them on their own and couldn't finish the portion. Their burgers are huge too, so I'd recommend sharing unless you have a big appetite.

Never had take away from here before, but with the good reviews thought we’d try & glad we did! Wow! Great value for money & plenty of food which was so tasty & just a bit different! Will be ordering again!

This place is a gem, accommodated a family of 17 meal at short notice. Swift communication by email from Suzie who sorted the booking. On arrival Fantastic attitude by all the staff on site, even down to moving our table which had been set before we arrived (mother-in-law likes a corner!) The lady who took the order from some fussy members of my group was again fantastic, genuine, happy and went out of her way throughout the evening to make the meal an excellent experience. The food was excellent and not on moan (even from the mother-in-law) between us we ordered the breadth of the menu and not one fault. Beef burgers were great, not greasy, hotdogs were quality, chicken perfect and the fries in all forms were excellent. Not only the food but the service and brilliant attitude of the staff made a fantastic night, we will be back

Well what can you say? Fantastic menu, great friendly staff and everything tastes amazing. We have tried their takeaway, we have eaten in, we even got them to cater for my 50th birthday party. Never had a bad meal and have probably tried most things on the old menu and are looking forward to working through the new menu😂

We have ordered from Grumpys a few times and each time the food has been superb. Can not recommend enough, they use proper juicy burgers which are seasoned beautifully. The fries are also scummy (my other half strongly recommends the messy fries). The delivery option is great and well worth the wait (although to be fair they have always managed to deliver before they say they will)

Food is absolutely delicious, so much choice for vegetarians, and great service right to your door. Love Grumpys

We decided to give Grumpy burgers and dogs a go after hearing so many good reports from friends and we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic, huge portions and lots of choice. We all loved what we’d ordered especially the loaded fries we had the Dallas the the Messy street fries, would highly recommend!

When it comes to burgers 🍔 its all about the ratio... too much or little and its ruined, but these guys have nailed it! the burger turned up looking like a poster burger 👌 its the little things... i could smell How good it was before i even bit Into it 🤤 the bun held together & stayed together throughout & then the choice of bacon 🥓 was streaky bacon not just your usual bacon sarny bacon! You could tell it had been put together instead of THROWN together 🍔 burgers lifes matter ✊ they even whipped me up a pot of blue cheese sauce to give it an extra bit of cheesey punch which isn't on the menu but it should be because its was 10/10 ! The messy fries again were a 10/10, alot of ppl think they can just throw bacon & cheese at stuff and it will have that American Street food style when in reality instead of making messy fries they've just made A MESS OF FRIES 🍟 not these guys though yet again the attention to detail was there and the fries BANGED 👏👏 the main thing is im absolutely stuffed 😩 and didn't spend a fortune! Well done highly recommend 👏 👍

Following all the reviews on Perton residence page we decided to give them a try for something different and we were just as impressed as the other reviews. The burgers were so filling. My boyfriend had the messy fries as a side and my son had the Mac cheese bites, both thought they were really good and would have them again. The staff were helpful and polite. Everything was delivered so quickly and it was still really warm. Will be ordering again 👍

I ordered from here using Uber Eats as its not a place I've tried before. I was not disappointed at all! The food arrived really quickly and was absolutely delicious. The burger was perfectly done and the dallas fries were just amazing. I will definitely be ordering from here again and will recommend to anyone

Obsessed with this place! We have ordered 3 or 4 times now and we haven’t been disappointed at all. Food is AMAZING! Prices are a little high ... but I’d say it’s worth it. The mac & cheese balls are a must try!

This has got to be the best vegan take away food I have ever tried. It was recommended by and friend and certainly did not disappoint. By the quality of the Vegan food produced I can only imagine that meat eaters and vegetarians would enjoy this place just as much as I did.

We ordered a takeaway for the first time & will surely be ordering again. The vegan menu offers a great choice of burgers & fries. The veggie burger tasted amazing with jalapeño cream & beans , wasn’t too spicy. Coleslaw was also nicely spiced yet creamy & the Asian twist on fries is worth a try. Won’t be missing gourmet burgers anymore 😋

This place does some banging food! I chose the Vegan option, in fact, I chose several options. One was the 'vegachi' burger(I think that's the name) it had bean chilli on it anyways, it was beautiful! No Gaky after taste, it was fresh, messy and just perfect! Id definitely eat it again! Secondly I had the jerk banablossom hot dog, again, divine! Only gripe was maybe a bit to much banana blossom, otherwise flavour was banging! The only bad point about my experience was the chips, its the same with any takeaway, soggy chips so I won't hold it against them! Can't wait for my next one! Thanks Grumpy dog!

This isn't the first time I've had food from Grumpy's because the food is delicious and they keep coming up trumps. I had the Ruebenish and it was just perfection in a bun and I'm just waiting to make an excuse to order from there again :P
