charlie’s in Mendip

Just had a stunning meal. The whole meal was cooked to perfection and they don't skimp on the portions! The waitress was lovely and super attentive. Will definitely be back.

Amazing food, fantastic service. When it comes to burgers Charlie certainly knows his stuff. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quality burger.

This could be a really great place if it was reliable. Its rarely open and they decide to close for any random reason. Its a shame as the food is good

Popped in on the spur of the moment, as I fancied some lunch. Was pleasantly surprised. Stylish, clean restaurant, good quick service (and food came out super fast). Had the brisket burger and loaded chicken fries. Not the biggest burger, but it's a proper burger, super dense and tasty. Was plenty for me, and I have a fairly good appetite! Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends. 👍

Not faults whatsoever, from the greetings on arrival, to the serve, the quality beer let along the food! Absolutely magnificent and highly recommend

I moved away from wisbech a few years back now and sometimes come back visit friends and family. There has always been a lack of quality in this town for food but may I say the service and food at Charlie's is absolutely incredible. It will certainly be a part of every trip back from now on!

Very poor , we had burgers, at a cost £15.00 a head, small normal buger in a Bagle bun, with very few chips, egg cup of salad, which was 2 strands of onion, a strand of lettuce and strand of something else, ...better going to your mid night burger place where you get a large buger and trimmings for£4.00 .shame as decor is nice..but wat over the top for very small meals.

Very nice food, lovely atmosphere and friendly helpful staff and great customer service. Highly recommended. Food is served on a tray and the loaded fries are awesome.

Absolutely brilliant experience here for a nice relaxed lunch with the family. The service was excellent and very welcoming and the burgers were fantastic! The inside has been fully revamped which creates a nice atmosphere. We will be back for sure! A+++++

Popped in the other Saturday afternoon... had seen a lot of reviews on Facebook so willing to give it a try and we were very pleased we did... loved the ambience and the waitress could not do enough and very pleasant and gave us advice on ordering our food... burgers were of very high standard and the loaded fries were to die for.. we also both enjoyed our milk shakes.. the food was fresh, well presented and very filling so go with an empty tummy.. waitress also informed us on paying that they also do a delivery service and gave us a menu to take away.. will go again and look forward to doing so... Well done to all involved.

After my last burger restaurant experience I was feeling anxious and in preparation of feeling disappointed again, however the food, staff and atmosphere was perfect and has restored my faith in gourmet burger joints Get there early as it gets busy really quick! Would 100% return again when next up from Cornwall and would go out of my way to travel further

Can't get enough of these burgers and the loaded fries! Not a place to miss if your in the area. Great food and staff. Also had a nice pornstar martini while I was waiting! Great stuff guys

Love Charlie’s Burgers. They serve up the kind of burger you can only dream of. Service is always spot on. Only downside is no delivery.

Just been to Charlie's first time. Service is incredible and the food well there isn't a word to describe it...best burgers ever had. Recommended the house special and the chill burger AMAZING!!!! Make a visit here you will definitely go back.

Been a few times and now decided to write a review. Each time food is perfect. Struggle to finish as portion size is big but I’m not complaining. Good menu choice as well. If you want something added or taken away they will do it....

This is by far the best burger place for miles and the breakfast is amazing. If your looking for somewhere to eat, stop and come here.

I go in 2-3 times a month and the food is always amazing, the staff are friendly and inviting and the prices are affordable Perfect for a mini date night and I'll always recommend the BBQ Dayz and the crispy chicken loaded fries!

Its not very often that you come across a gourmet burger in this area, 5 Guys docent even come close to Charlie's, the last is amazing. The People that run it are very friendly and welcoming. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Had lovely burger and the best mac n cheese with beef brisket if ever had 10/10 tried loads of imitations but this is definitely the best burger and Mac n cheese if had not just in Wisbech but in Cambridgeshire
