Cafe Appolonia,leek in Mendip

Excellent its a gluten free haven, called in as read on line that's its good for gluten free and we were not dissapointed it's brilliant. We had a really good lunch and my wife's gluten free lunch was really good. Service was excellent, we were warmly greated as soon as we walked in and told there was a table free upstairs a d the young ladies that served us were really pleasent and looked after us. Great food, great service

This is a bright and airy coffee shop. The staff are exceptional. They were friendly and the service was quick. The coffee was excellent. This cafe is dog friendly.

After a walking around leek on a particularly cold, dreary and wet day we decided to try out the Appolonia, mostly to just warm up with a cup of hot chocolate. The place was bustling as it was lunchtime so we sat upstairs. Staff were very welcoming and helpful and we soon had a cup of steaming hot chocolate in front of us. We weren't intending to eat but the food looked so lovely that we decided to try the lasagne from the specials board. Freshly cooked, it arrived with salad and garlic bread and it was delicious. We left feeling warmed up, refuelled, relaxed and totally fit to venture into the cold again.

Absolutely amazing place. A genuine warm friendly welcome and superb service. Food was delicious and served perfectly. Amazing coffee to accompany. The best place we've visited in a long time and will definitely be returning when next in town. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The owner's should be very proud of what they have achieved. Something the large chains simply cannot match.

A cafe on the corner of the market place and Derby Street in Leek, this cafe has a few tables downstairs and more seating on the next floor. "She who Must Be Obeyed" and I had Americanos, mine with a miniature bottle of cold milk on the side and "Junior She" had some kind of caramel latte. These were three of the best coffees we have had outside home in a very long time. The place was busy and we were warned that food would take about thirty minutes, which was fair given the fact that we got the last table in there. "She" opted for a small breakfast and "Junior" and I got greedy and had a full English each. Every aspect of the meal was perfect and I don't get to say that often! Really nice Staffordshire oatcake on our plates too. Definitely would go there again, perhaps for coffee and cake as the cake choices looked pretty good too.
