We sat outside in the warm evening, and the Tapas menu looked okay, nothing astonishing. Tapas ingredients are, by definition, very cheap potatoes, olives, bread, chicken, tomatoes and yet the prices are really, really expensive, The food when it came was fine, the bill was not, £100 for two and we left hungry.

My friend and I enjoyed the most amazing tapas selection during our visit. The food was outstanding and there was such a varied selection of delicious dishes to choose from. An awesome place with such fantastic service and attentive waiting staff. I highly recommended this tapas bar and will definitely be returning soon!

Hi Marc, we visited your restaurant with some friends last night. It was absolutely fabulous!! The staff were really happy to serve and assist us. The food was excellent and well seasoned. My friends and I thought the patatas bravas with alioli was probably the best we have ever had anywhere and the other dishes like the rump lamb with anchovies, mushroom croquettes and tenderstem were all equally good. Every dish was on point. I complimented your chef and told him the dishes were "absolutely banging" as they truly were. My friends are already planning to visit us again simply to come and visit you! Well done to you and all your staff. As Arnie Schwarzenegger would say "I'll be back..." 😁

We went during the Frome festival when a set tapas menu at a fixed price was offered, and a 'flamenco guitarist' was booked for the evening. It was truly awful. We were served four small tapas dishes, each to be shared by two people. At £35 per person, plus wine, this made the evening ridiculously expensive. The food ranged from average to poor; the staff serving were friendly enough, but I suspect embarrassed at the pricing. The music was very average. To top it all, when I asked for bread to go with the tomato and chorizo stew (mostly tomato juice, hardly any chorizo), I was charged extra for 5 small slices from a baguette.

Zeer gezellige plek, een Spaanse traiteur in combinatie met restaurant. Heerlijke tapas die met liefde zijn gemaakt. De geroosterde grote garnalen met zwarte rijst en zelfgemaakte aioli is crimineel lekker. De eigenaar een zeer vriendelijke enthousiaste licht chaotische gastheer.

Absolutely wonderful food and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Had the perfect evening and will definitely be coming back for dinner again (and for breakfast!) Have already recommended to friends :)

I’ve been lucky enough to visit on a number of occasions, from meals with family a quick coffee and cake or wine and tapas. I’ve even had a celebration with friends sharing tapas. Always lovely friendly & welcoming service with a great choice of food. Wonderful addition to Frome’s eating establishments.

Such a lovely, relaxing spot. The service was personal & patient, no rush to order or to get out. Nice location friendly staff. Ironically the restaurant is in Cheap St but these are the most expensive Tapas I have ever purchased. I think £40 [2 people] for Tortilla [eggs & potato] and Albondigas [minced meat balls] and a glass of wine suggests their market price position is wrong. I only say this as I used to have experience with FTSE 100 & 250 companies on pricing strategies. I also have just returned from my holiday home in Spain where the same meal, in a genuine Tapas bar, would cost a quarter of this. I hope the venture works but in the current financial climate £40 for lunch seems excessive.

We had dinner here during our stay in Frome. All dishes were fresh and tasted delicious. The service was friendly. We would definitely come back again when we are in the area again.

Best Tapas outside Spain! Seriously, this is a lovely little place. Really friendly staff, GREAT service, a cool vibe. The tapas was delicious - we adore Spain, and are always searching for good tapas over here. This was seriously the best tapas we've had outside Spain. Couldn't even find anything this good when we lived in London. It seems as if the ingredients take full use of the fresh, local Somerset produce, and it's prepared, cooked and served authentically. Shall certainly return.

We went with friends to the Gin Feast Fiesta at Lo Rapitenc and thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food paired with beautifully crafted gins. The explanations of how the different botanicals affect the flavour of the gin was fascinating and we even got to concoct our own! The food pairing was very clever and well thought out. The atmosphere was super-friendly and all agreed we'd had a very good night out!

My aunt who lives nearby recommended this restaurant and what a gem it turned out to be. The staff were attentive, the tapas excellent and we enjoyed our time there. The owner checked that we were happy with everything, which we were. Highly recommended and will definitely return. Booking was a must, it was a Friday night and there was a gig on at the Cheese & Grain. We enjoyed every dish, not often you can say that at a Tapas bar.

Probably the best food we have ever eaten in Frome !! Super fresh and tasty and we both ate probably more than we should have but we wanted to try as many dishes as we could manage. Will definitely be back again soon.

We often meet friends at lunch time in Lo Rapitenc and find it wonderful to be able to access real tapas locally. We have always had good and interesting food and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Spanish food.
