The best restaurants in East Dorset South West

Just a quick feed back on our take-away this evening. We regularly have food from Chineses Whispers and it's always nice. The service is polite and efficient. BUT sadly this evening the sweet and sour sauce was very bland with no contrasting notes of sweet and sour tang to complement our chicken balls. I tried calling to feed back but got no answer. Hence the review. We will of course continue to use Chinese Whispers and cross our fingers that the sweet and sour sauce in the future is indeed sweet and sour as is usually the case at this great local restaurant. More than happy to discuss and only fed-back for the benefit of Chinese Whispers.

Quick service. The bacon roll would put posh hotels to shame & as ever the coffee was proper tasty, all without pretentious pomp.

Always lovely food, lovely staff and dog friendly. We come at least once a fortnight for coffee or for lunch

Slow delivery, stone cold when it arrived and the original pizzas are as thin as the thin pizzas. Much worse than other Papa John's locations.

This place has gone downhill. Horrible chips with lots of black bits, fish cake had no flavour and had bones in it. Really disappointed and won't use again.

Waste of money turned up stone cold no salad on it and they forgot the coleslaw Donner Meat must have been carved hours prior as had gone hard you could actually snap it Chicken wasn’t any better cold and dry and with what must be 2 ladles of chilli sauce over it all that’s all you could see and taste and the pita bread was dry as old boots tried 2 fork fulls and then we put both the kebabs in the bin Phoned and complained they offered to send out some salad and coleslaw just felt insulted tbh wait a further 15 minutes to put this on an already cold meal absolute joke of an establishment Also you should ask why you can’t watch them cook your meal anymore they put a screen across the kitchen….

They are getting a lot of bad reviews because of the parking fines for being a customer. I have just received a Parking Charge notice, stating I did not obtain a 'permit'. Why did the staff not inform me I needed one?

Food was as expected, service was a bit slowbut the place is dirty past its best and the toilets especially so.

Disgusting - tables dirty no staff willing to even wipe tables asked three times still not done Staff involvement to customer service is awful are they even trained to help customers . Customers pay there wages Won’t be going again
