Agree with previous posts .. a great spot and for me I’d add it was delightful to trip across a gluten free pasty (veggie or meat!!) that was excellent. Trendy, cute, friendly with outdoor booths and deck chairs. Just chill and watch the sea and water sports. ‘It’s ‘Hangtime’ 😁

I booked an afternoon tea for my mums birthday and the staff in the Brasserie could not do enough for us. We had a lovely view of the gardens and sea, while eating our afternoon tea. The scones were super light and the sandwiches lovely. We couldn't manage to eat all the cakes so the staff happily supplied boxes for us to take them home. My mum and I really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you

We have waited two yrs to return to this place, when they stopped taking cash. Today we waited in a long line for coffee. £ 3.50 a cup. Coffee not very good, Luke warm. Won’t be going back. Hang time down the seafront, coffee costs less, cheerful staff, hot, good quality coffee, even on days when there is a line. I would have sent an email to the bumble and Sea, but no email contact on line.

We visited on a bright November afternoon, walking in, we were greeted by a lady behind the bar wearing a coat! It was cold in the pub and we were shivering by the end of our visit. The pub is light and bright and well decorated. Beer is well kept but over £5.50 a pint, diet coke is £2.50 a can! We did go back to eat on another afternoon, cold again, bar lady in her coat! The food is mediocre to say the least, if you like microwaved food, tinned new potatoes and instant mash you will enjoy it, we ate it because we were hungry but gourmet it ain't! The lamb shank swimming in gravy with peas and instant mash at £18.95 is way over priced. They are missing a trick here, if they served fresh food, they could corner the market with the nearby caravan park. Disappointing.

Came all the way from Manchester to meet up with a family friend and the weather was not great so we found this place just beside the car park near the lifeboat station.what a fantastic place! Small and cosy with the most friendly staff and the best hot chocolate ever p perfectly priced. It has a take away as well and I’m told the ice cream is very good.Well worth a visit!

Awful atmosphere and paid for overpriced lager served in a plastic glass. First time I visited was a year ago and the lager was so poor i.e. flat that I asked to have it replaced. The replacement was even worse and the young staff clearly did not know what they were doing so I left. It clearly hasn’t improved since. Not worth visiting.

Had seen a few weeks ago Ocean had started a Sunday Roast luncheon menu, so combined a visit with a nice walk along the beach with the dogs to blow away the weeks cobwebs! So, after taking a seat with a pint of Guniness and the dogs chilled beside me, out came a piping hot beef roast dinner with all the trimmings (glad they include my favourite parsnips!) and within 20 mins of ordering! Having lived in Devon for nearly 20 years now (so I’ve tried a fair few over the years) this Roast was phenomenal, and I truly mean that. Think of it more Micheal Canes than Hungry Horse… Will be back next Sunday!

Such a nice and friendly cafe. The breakfast was tasty and cooked to perfection. Ate breakfast here twice during our holiday stay because it's nicer to support a local independent than the hungry horse. The food is tastier too. Also friendly staff and they provide veggie sausages which is always a bonus to me and nice to see! Affordable and in a prime location with a great view. Would be nice to come again if possible
