Great position, friendly and welcoming service. Lovely ladies who welcomed a chat. Good tasting coffee. Highly recommended.

Lovely Bistro in the clubhouse of the Beaufort Polo Club. It has a nice bar area, some comfy arm chairs and a restaurant area. Sally runs a tight ship and the menu has a tasty selection. The music has a South American guitar feel. The burger and cabonara were excellent as was the wine and Doombar. There is a lovely grass terrace too. Another fun place to go near Tetbury.

We love Knead! We have the most amazing maple and pecan bun as a treat every week (we struggle to pass Knead without buying one!) and their mince pies are out of this world! They’re dog friendly and our pup loves their Doggie Digestives. Their patisserie is to die for, we especially love their macarons and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We’ve also visited the Knead restaurant in Elkstone which is equally marvellous and does delicious lunches.

Tetbury Fish & Chips – I have to say I’ve never been to a chippy where their passion for food is so clear and obvious. We’ll all travel for a decent fish & chips, and I would, however I’m blessed to have these guys on the doorstep now. Customer service 10/10, speed, 10/10, most importantly, the quality 11/10. They make me want to eat fish & chips more because it’s all round a total banger. When I talk about passion, just ask a question, you’ll get what I mean, it shines through, and the results speak for themselves. These fish & chips are epic, local, the fish tastes as fresh as if you were eating them by the sea, and delivered with pride because they know their chips are ace. Hats off to you guys, absolutely smashing it, and to top it off, extremely well priced in this day and age too.

What a magnificent Christmas feast for our large group of family and friends. We enjoyed our lunch in the wooden, cosy shed that is part of the restaurant. Warm heating, festive decorations and the freedom to enjoy the entire space to ourselves added to this special occasion. We cannot thank Jacqui and her amazing team for going over and beyond. The food was outstanding and the attention to detail and service was exceptional. Thank you, thank you..

Excellent restaurant in a very beautiful hotel where I celebrated my birthday with a a small group of friends. Last year I also enjoyed an evening meal here with my partner. Ambience, service and food were perfect. Apéritifs in the lounge, well-spaced tables in the restaurant, excellent, polite and friendly staff, delicious food and lovely surroundings. By far the best restaurant I have been to in years.

Lovely little coffee shop, small but friendly. Best coffee we had during our stay in and around Tetbury and a nice selection of cakes.

We recently moved to Tetbury and heard some good mumbles about the Woolpack and having the first Sunday off in ages my husband I booked a table online for Sunday lunch. We booked 3pm as it stated online it was open until 4pm. In the morning we had an emailed confirmation as well as a phone call to confirm. At 2.500m we duly arrived expecting a lovely roast, a nice bottle of wine and we even discussions en route of pudding- we were looking forward indeed! However we never got to order anything as the front of house lady advised that the kitchen was now closed and there was no record of our booking , my husband showed her the reservation and explained tge call earlier. A discussion then ensued between her and the chef whether we were correct as if we were being doubted. She did however apologise but we certainly got the impression from the open kitchen that the Chef had seen the opportunity to clean up and get away early and he wasn’t budging. I’m not a negative TA winger but at 3pm on a Sunday it was impossible to find another venue for lunch and we were really disappointed. I feel in this current climate the management should be aware that staff or notably the Chef is dictating their profitability. It would not have been an issue to move our table to earlier in the service to suit him but just to cancel a reservation is exceptionally poor. I have given two stars as I thought the ambience was very nice and I do think the woman server dealt with the situation as well as she could but they have lost some potentially good local customers I’m afraid.
