I ate here this evening on my own having read the reviews on Tripadvisor, and very pleased that I did. I had the risotto (Risotto al Polo). Perfectly sized portion, delicious freshly cooked flavour. Prices were very reasonable for the food and the drinks - and kindly no service charge added to the bill. I would very much recommend and hope to return sometime.

We had a leisurely day out in Tetbury and were planning on a light snack lunch. However, the idea of a Pannini for £13 at a high street cafe seemed like poor value for money so we kept walking. Then we stumbled on this place apparently offering real home made Italian food for hardly anymore money. It was a "no brainer" as they say! My daughter and I chose a different Risotto each whilst my wife had a pasta dish. When they came, they were all fabulous and far more filling than they looked. We didn't intend to have desserts, but the mains were so good that when we realised that the desserts were also in the main, also home made we had them anyway! They (cheesecake and panna-cotta) were also superb. We finished up with teas and coffees etc. Total cost? Less than £80 for three. Excellent value.

We both had chicken, one with mushroom sauce and the other breadcrumbed with tomato sauce along with roasted new potatoes. Generous portions, no complaints there except would be better hot ! Deserts a bit disappointing, lemon cheesecake ok but husband wasn’t actually offered more than 2 scoops and only small portions! Overall enjoyed our meal but hope they take note of comments !

The dinner we had was disappointing. The saltimboca maiale was over cooked, the garlic prawns lacked seasoning, and the calamari was fried too long. It was a shame because it was a lovely dining room and the wait staff were very nice.

We had a lovely meal on Sunday evening at this restaurant. My husband had the prawns as a starter, our mains were chicken in a mushroom sauce and a spicy chicken pasta. I had Affrogato for pudding. The food was delicious and the service was nice and relaxed, no rush, which suited us. The menu was varied and plenty to choose for drinks.

We visited on a Thursday evening having booked a few weeks prior to going. Friendly greeting, and our table was ready in 2 minutes. A nice ambiance to the place. We started with a garlic and chilli prawn dish and garlic bread to share. We continued with the seafood theme, my wife having risotto and I had linguini, both were very good and piping hot. Drinks were very reasonably priced, and the service was extremely good. No silly service charge added to the bill, but the 10% we left was well deserved. Definitely worth another visit.

Nice atmosphere. Helpful and mostly efficient staff. Food, cheap and cheerful. Mussels small and a bit overcooked but tasty white wine sauce. Starters: Calamari standard frozen rings, a touch over-fried. Mains: lasagne ample portions, tasty with a nice sauce, would benefit from a small salad or some veg. Chicken Caesar salad, good sized portion, the dressing was a touch over-powering in salt and quantity. Over all, good value for money but we would try somewhere else before returning.

My prawns were floating in a watery, buttery liquid although the prawns were cooked nicely. The calamari was nice enough but a little chewy and there were different cuts on one plate. The prices were very reasonable and we enjoyed the style of the restaurant. The service was average; no complaints but nothing overly enthusiastic.

Having looked at Trip advisor prior to going to Tetbury and saw that Casa had a very good write up.. Tetbury is quite an expensive area a glass of wine and a pint of cider cost me £13.85 which was a bit of a shock to my rugby club system. So when in Casa I had a check at the prices and breathed a sigh of relief.. The food was top drawer, the service was very good, staff were very friendly and best of all it was all at a very reasonable cost. Thank you to all at Casa highly recommended.

Oh Dear , Firstly the place was clean and toilets spotless .Usually a good start !the Girl who served us pleasant and warm . We ordered a Carbonara and a Lasagne ........ FoodCame out in but that is when it started to lose the stars . I have never been served a lasagne that looked so anaemic before ,it had no presentation and was infact very small . Husbands came in a bowl on top of plate to give illusion of plenty ,trust me far from . The presentation was appalling wish I had taken Photo . No leaves or small salad nothing just pasta on a white plate . Tried to eat it but it wasn't just hot my lasagne was lime LAVA , clearly still cooking with the radiation from the microwave (evident as no browning of bechamel sauce) . Server asked me how it was I said I have no idea it is like Lava . Eventually able to eat ....oh dear I do not think any one in kitchen had heard of seasoning .First time ever I had to pepper and salt a Lasagne !! Then I watched my husband do the same to his ......Carbonara. I gave it 3 stars as we were hungry and it was eadable.... just . Italian food at its best certainly not Boiling hot stodge because we were hungry ok . I did give feedback to server that ot might be beneficial to tell the kitchen to season the food.my husband stated perhaps some fresh herbs wouldn't go amiss . My partner and I visited this Italian on our first night in Tetbury. We didn’t book and then managed to fit us in. We both enjoyed our meals here & the service was pretty quick. It was a little pricy but you get what you pay for and the portions sizes were big!

Its a Sunday evening and I thought I would try this lovely little restaurant out. WOW, Food is the best,I have eaten in all restaurants and bars in Tetbury, but this place is the best value quality, quantity, hospitality, relaxed atmosphere front of house waitresses, all so so friendly and not pushy,just a great place. Spending a New Year break in Tetbury, we decided to book Casa La Cucina for a special New Year's eve dinner and were not disappointed. The restaurant was rammed with couples and larger groups of family and friends, yet this had no negative impact on the quality of the food, the attention of the friendly and efficient staff, or the time it took for the meal to be served. My partner's Carbonara was one of the best she has tasted and my Seafood Risotto was exquisite. The sweets were to die for. A mention for the staff who were so professional in presenting and serving the food and wines. A delightful dining experience.

Although take away, we all enjoyed Pizza's from this Italian restaurant: nice thin base with a good amount of toppings and not overly cheesy.

The best Italian I may have had anywhere. Friendly staff, busy, good surroundings - exactly why you should go out - different to what you have at home, good value and a feel good factor. Congratuations to all the staff - service, chefs and everyone - well done.

We were impressed with the thoughtfully prepared food. Very satisfying. Most of all, however, we were so grateful for the quick action that the servers took when finding my handbag left behind. They tracked us down within an hour. This was vital, as we had a flight out from Heathrow the next day. Thank you so much.

My partner and I tried to have lunch here today. We ordered 2 starters, tricolore salad and carbonara followed by 2 mains, being another carbonara and a pizza plus 2 soft drinks. The dark haired waitress took our order. One drink was delivered incorrectly but we drank it anyway. Then after a long wait a pizza came out with a plate of carbonara (not sure if it was main or starter), but basically we didn’t get our starters. At this point we were the only table in the restaurant so they weren’t exactly under too much pressure. I’m not sure why the girl got the order so badly wrong. We kept the carbonara starter, they took away the pizza and eventually returned with the tricolore salad. No apology, in fact nothing was said at all. We finished. The girls walked backwards and forwards ignoring us and we could hear them chatting away in the bar. After 10 minutes with our empty plates sat in front of us we became annoyed and decided to pay for what we’d had and leave. I explained to the dark haired girl why we were leaving and she argued with me, being very rude and not even allowing me to finish what I was saying. She continued to argue loudly with me following us to the bar where we tried to pay. The other waitress said that she wouldn’t charge us for the dreadful experience that we’d had, but we left feeling very shaken. I have not been spoken to by anyone like that in a very long time. It was really horrible. That girl does not deserve to work in what could be a very nice restaurant.

The service was first class. We had calamari to start and then spaghetti carbonara. Both were very good. My partner had Saltimbocca. He enjoyed it. Prices were reasonable. We didn’t book as we went on a Monday but the restaurant was reasonably busy and booking would be essential at other times of the week/year.

Great decor, good menu. We had margharita pizza and penna a La casa which were both lovely. Unfortunately we found a spider in the pasta sauce but the waitress quickly sent it back and brought us a new dish.

Ordered a takeaway- starters were great, although breaded mushrooms, was one mushroom with salad… the Calzone was cooked on the outside and stone cold in the middle, carbonara was really tasty but small portion. And most disappointing was the spaghetti bolognese was horrendous- I think I could of went to Tesco and got a Tesco value microwave meal for £2.50 and had more mince in that! Was not a spaghetti bolognese but spaghetti with a spoon on mince stirred up! For £13.95 I was absolutely horrified! Having had this only a week before in the restaurant I had high hope for the takeaway to be exactly the same! Very disappointed

We spent a lovely weekend in Tetbury and had the good fortune to choose this restaurant for our Saturday evening meal. It was excellent from start to finish. A warm welcome, friendly and efficient staff, delicious flavourful food, a good wine list and good pricing. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend.

We spent 2 nights in Tetbury as a short break, decided to book in at this Italian I had the pizza which was very good wife had the lasagna, all I can say is that this was very disappointing, this had not flavour and very bland, we did complain about this and to be far it was taken off our bill, to say this is one of the top restaurants in the area it was very disappointing.

Arrived on busy night without reservation, invited to wait at bar for table reset. In under 10 mins we were seated with menu. Chose mixed platter; salmon with lentils with Mr S having mixed seafood pasta. Anti pasti was excellent (photo) my salmon delish, lentils soft and tasty, veg perfect. Just managed a small ice. Excellent venue.

Vandaag gingen we voor pizza parmaham bij Casa. We hadden speciaal gevraagd voor.een goed gebakken bodem aangezien er ook koude tippings opgaan. De smaak was goed maar helaas niet goed genoeg gebakken waardoor de pizza ook lauw werd geserveerd. Omdat we speciaal voor goed gebakken hadden gevraagd, zei de serveerster "ik kan hem opwarmen", hoe dan? Slechte service ondanks de vriendelijke bediening. Tegenvaller!!

On the surface, this restaurant looks like it should deliver. The service was slow, despite there being 3 members of staff, front of house, and 7 covers. The 3 members of staff spent the majority of their time by the entrance, away from the main restaurant. I finally had my order taken and asked for a beer and a jug of tap water. The beer arrived, but no water! The food was placed in front of me, without a word. No offer of any dressing or if I needed anything else. Throughout my meal, I didn't see a member of staff until my starter was finished. It was collected, without a word. No engagement at all! My main came( a pizza). It was placed in front of my, again, without a word, and the staff member went back to join the others who were out of sight. Again, my finished main was collected, without a word...Nothing! 10 minutes later, I had a desert menu placed on my table, I think the members of staff may be mutes! My desert menu was collected and she spoke!!! I declined the offer of desert as I really wasn't impressed with the service. Writing this, I can hear the girls chatting ( out of sight) so they can hold a conversation. I know this country is struggling for hospitality staff, but in what could be a very good restaurant, I expected more. The starter was good. The pizza was average ( just lacked flavour). I wish I'd stuck with my original plan and gone to the Tapas bar, along the road...😏

The restaurant is instantly appealing; well decorated and atmospheric. We were well looked after throughout the meal. Menu is enticing. Had the anti pasti to start, chicken risotto for main and an incredible panna cotta for pudding. The whole meal was faultless. Thank you ! Totally recommended. As a side note it was full on a Monday note - a good sign but be mindful to book.

We were looking for a place to have a meal for our wedding anniversary after deciding on Thursday to come to the area for the weekend. We drove to Tetbury as we nearly moved there a while back and wanted to see how it had grown. (It has grown) We found this Italian restaurant and had some lovely food. All very tasty and good value. My wife and I really enjoyed this restaurant. Both our mains and starters were really nice, the highlights being the goats cheese and carbonara which can often be bland and tasteless. Drinks were also good, especially the poretti on draught. Staff were really friendly, despite having to go up and down a flight of stairs every few minutes. Overall we really liked this place, good honest food served in a welcoming environment.
