Some of the best food I've eaten. The service was excellent, thoughtful and well-executed, though a little slow at times as the restaurant was very busy - however, the majority of our dishes came out quickly towards the start; perfect for a tapas meal. We waited quite a while for a meat and fish dish but that gave us time to digest all of the other dishes we'd ordered! Our waiter understood the whole menu well, and advised us on portion sizes and how much to order. All of the wait staff were attentive to us despite the busy dinner service. Highly recommend the Leek dish, patatas bravas, the Cod in tomato sauce, the rabbit, and the custard filled pastry (we didn't sample the entire menu though!)

Wow....what a super find! the most delicious food and I mean every course... Accompanied by charming, attentive and knowledge staff set in a visually stunning interior. We had the fireplace table upstairs, it's such a super blended mix of decant new style and old Tetbury class....absolutely loved it!

Think it is our fifth time eating here. Came with another couple who have never been. Still has a lovely vibe, service was good and attentive but I felt the food was just not as good as in previous visits. Top quality products, at high prices mean everything has to be perfect no room for errors. Patatas Bravas are simply fried crispy bits of potatoes, but ours were overcooked, 30 more seconds in the fryer and they would be black! Mini burgers con foie, one of our favourites, but this time the meat pate inside was beige, no charing on the outside. Mussels beautifully cooked but needed bread for that lovely liquor, was supplied when asked for, but should come with. Croqetas Boletus. Texture very soft almost watery, when fried became dangerously hot inside, one bite and nearly burnt my mouth. Can"t fault the service, but at these prices it all needs to be perfect, just wasn't quite this time!

We had an amazing meal here during our stay in Tetbury. We had a selection of vegetable tapas, plus the prawn and rabbit dishes. Everything was delicious, and the rabbit was a standout. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Superlative all around.

We booked a place for dinner. Apparently the expectations were high. We had fun, but there is room for improvement. The tapas dishes are recommended for sharing, but it is not clear how, we ordered a burrata salad - excellent and an artichoke dish that needs improvement, the sardines need to be accompanied by the beer not the wine we ordered. And a dish of sole fish in tomato sauce was indeed spicy, you could have added small tostones. For the main dish we chose the rabbit which was delicious although a bit dry in parts. Puff pastry dessert filled with cream. A successful dish to end the meal.

The setting, the food, the atmosphere was all amazing. People might say oh it's expensive, it's not cheap granted but when you get this level of quality it's not going to be cheap and it shouldn't be going to a resteraunt like this. Top draw worth every penny would visit again in a heartbeat.

Great decor and great service, however the food was disappointing. We ordered the pan con tomate, cockles, Spanish omelette, pork burgers and the rabbit. All dishes (except the rabbit) lacked flavour and were overpriced. The rabbit however was delicious!

Food was amazing and the service and people warm and welcoming. A most enjoyable evening.

First of all the good things: I called ahead to check if they were dog friendly and they confirmed they were. Sure enough our son's dog made himself right at home and had space to curl up and sleep throughout the meal. Secondly the food and wine is pretty good, just be prepared that it will cost you. As a tapas restaurant you order a selection of dishes to share between you. This is where our waitress started to try and upsell us reckoning that for 6 of us we would want to order 12-15 dishes. We ordered 9 and that was fine. Then she suggested we upgrade our wine. I didn't particularly appreciate this approach. The staff were also somehow better at asking if we wanted more bottles of wine than replenishing our water bottle. 6 prawns for £22.50 didn't feel like very good value and I am still wondering who orders the bottles of wine that are priced at over£1k each or why the restaurant had them on their wine list in the first place. Whilst I quite enjoyed the food, I didn't like being made to feel that we should spend more than we might be comfortable with.

Very heavily recommended great and friendly welcome, food is just fantastic complimented by the atmosphere, super selection of wines and the whole experience is well worth it with sensible prices, you must try it.

Lola’s was recommended to us by a taxi driver, who said it was the best restaurant in Tetbury. While the service was great, the food was just, meh. Maybe I am biased since I’ve had a lot of opportunity to travel through Spain and eat tapas, but what we ordered was c plus at best. The confit lee was basically mush. And the Spanish tortilla and aubergines were dry and tasteless. The mushroom croquettes were okay, the inside being really mushy too. We got two glasses of sangria, one with alcohol, one without. Both of them tasted like carbonated fruit juice. No real flavor at all. I don’t feel this restaurant uses “authentic flavors of Spain.” Simply put, this isn’t authentic, and it just doesn’t taste that good. It’s also expensive- but that’s always the case with any tapas restaurant outside of Spain.

We didn't have a reservation but were shown to a cosy spot in the window. Food was delicious, best potato bravas we've had, tortilla was exquisite and the prawns were superb. We had first class service from Tom who was the manager this evening. We'll be back.

In summary, it was not what we expected and left us quite disappointed. Service: We started the experience quite poorly as the lady who greeted us was very unhelpful and didn’t present the business in a good light. Neither of us were even asked about dietary requirements likely because there was no time between us being seated and the lady fleeing from sight. We were also seated in the back corner of the first floor, (despite being the only customers in the restaurant for the 1hr, 30 we were there) which would not be a recommended location as you are certainly forgotten about. The waiters were friendly but between finishing our final elements we waited 20 minutes before anyone came to check up on us. Additionally the noise from seemingly a washing machine was not an essential feature for the beginning of service but definitely disturbed the evening. The food: Whilst elements very quite tasty including the buratta. However the menu seems to suffer from an identity crisis where elements don’t know whether they are Spanish, fine dining or closer to British ‘pub-grub’. Sausage egg and chips and steak and fries is now Corrizo egg and chips whilst lamb chops replaces the latter. None of these were suitable for sharing in composition apart from the salad. Further there was a clear lack in seasoning leaving elements such as the leeks quite bland. Overall: This is not somewhere I’d recommended if you wish to get value or uncover a new exciting dining experience. Preferably stick to somewhere which costs less and is driven to impress through competition rather than solely because of the cost. Expensive ingredients does not a good menu make.

Lola and Co is a gem that you cannot miss. It is difficult to find a restaurant so well decorated, with exceptional attention to detail and such delicious food. High quality products and brilliantly cooked. There are dishes that take away the sense: cannelloni, cod, mushroom croquettes. Everything is understood when you meet the wonderful family that runs Lola and Co. We had the opportunity to try the best whiskeys at KoKo, with the family. They are those moments that you keep in your memory forever. Don't miss this Spanish corner in the heart of the Cotswolds. You will remember it. Thank you Pep, Cuca and your adorable children for bringing this wonderful project to life. I hope to meet you again at some point.

Expensive, absurdly small portions (although the photos are deceiving) and slow service… I don't recommend it at all

Honestly one of the best Tapas restaurants we’ve been to in the UK. This is a wonderful small and inviting restaurant in Tetbury. We were visiting from London and popped in with our Puppy and sat outside in the courtyard for some light lunch. We ordered mainly seafood dishes and they were all very good. The Tuna Tartare in particular was fantastic. The staff were also very welcoming and attentive. Would highly recommend this lovely spot for some fantastic Spanish food.

Fantastic atmosphere, and polite service. But suffers from being somehow overstated and underserviced - you’re not allowed to keep the wine list because they haven’t printed enough. Paper napkins. Poorly substituted menu items. Rubbery ‘crispy’ pork belly. Might be excusable if it weren’t so expensive. I think diners are being tricked here.

Really disappointed with the execution of the food. Lots of fried options but nothing to balance. We asked for a simple tomato salad (not on the menu, but a staple Spanish dish and tomatoes were a component of another dish on offer), a half-portion of the jamon (£25 a portion) and they wouldn’t do that. The dishes were far too formulaic and the menu unbalanced. Good setting but very disappointing overall. Staff sweet but mostly clueless.

Exceptional venue, beautiful food, great service a must visit

We got off to a bad start when we were shown complete inflexibility towards our two young children, if you don’t want to cater for children don’t let them in! Seems a shame for a Spanish restaurant where culturally children are usually made to feel very welcome. The food is expensive and very salty but the tortilla was good, the two young men working front of house were charming and trying their best. We live locally and won’t be visiting again- we are speaking from experience as one half of us managed one of London’s leading tapas restaurants for six years.

Loved our dinner. Food was delicious and advice on how much to order was spot on. Perfect wine and could eat the croquettes all day long! Alex was wonderful, highly recommend to anyone wanting a date night.

Every single dish hit the spot, and was memorable in its own way! Louise was our waitress, and really made it a special evening with her recommendations and incredible service! Special note to the Jamon & Tomate bread, potato croquettes. The interior is specifically curated by the owners from their own art gallery across the road. Really high class with acceptable price budget. We had 9 dishes for 4 of us.

Come in and ordered bread with tomato for starter, and waited for that approximately half an hour. For main course I've ordered mini burgers which I've been told it will be enough for one person for dinner. Waited another half an hour for that to be served.... Altogether lost an hour of my life and 30+ pounds.

A hidden gem in cotwolds! We came from London for a day trip in cotwolds. We ordered the Gambas, beef tartare, pork cheek and the deep fried aubergine, according to the staff's recommendations. They were ALL amazing! The octopus was not what I expected, but it was good as well! My favourite dish will be the gambas and the pork cheek. The service and atmosphere was perfect and we have an enjoyable lunch here! Can't wait to share the restaurant to my friends!

Very tasty, very expensive, really expensive, nice atmosphere, friendly service, wonderful food. My recommendation: pack a thick wallet and have a delicious evening.

Some food really excellent - some not so good ( an octopus dish that had no octopus taste). Also there was also a staff problem, either in the kitchen or lack of waiting staff - long waits for the various dishes. Wine very expensive. Also 12% service charge added - we reduced this which quite obviously did not go down well! It was my birthday so bit of a shame really!!

We ate here on a weekend trip to Tetbury after seeing all the great reviews online. The outside of the restaurant was also very inviting. We had high expectations and yet, I think they were still surpassed. The food was absolutely incredible and the service was great. We got 5 dishes between two of us + dessert and it had us nicely full. Would come back again for the chicken tacos alone. 10/10.

This is a fantastic little family run restaurant, and if it doesn't get a Michelin star soon there's no justice. Everything is cooked to perfection. Even the simplest of dishes - bread with olive oil & tomatoes fo example - are stunningly good. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with well-behaved dogs welcome. The darkly Spanish interior is, rather like the food, simple but perfectly done. Not cheap, but for a rare treat this place is worth a journey.

This place is a rip off, the food is not worth the price, the pork skewers were all fat, we poured our own drink of wine because know body was around, we was told off and told we do d not you, also my partner is allergic to nuts, when we asked to leave nuts off, we was told we can’t affect the chefs artistic choosing, please don’t eat here, it is a waste of money, £230 Pound to be told you do as your told, so many better places in the area, without tut pretentious workers.

Excellent food, fair price, great atmosphere. Octopus, aubergine, croquettes, churros a highlight; chorizo nice but not the star. Could do with an extra pair of hands up front to support the friendly service team. Very good experience.

Incredible place to eat - blown away by the staff, the quality of the food and the attention to detail. They gave us desserts on the house due to a food delay.. we didn’t even notice there was a food delay!

Hands down the best meal we had in Tetbury by a mile. Food was absolutely impeccable. Amazing flavour and absolutely worth the pricing. The service was also so warm and lovely. We sat outside at the back. The atmosphere in their outdoor sitting definitely needs a lot of work. Furniture was rusty and looking weather worn. Only feedback: octopus was rubbery and over salted. But still great.

What a wonderful evening we had yesterday (05/09/2023). The food was exceptional and the service: faultless. The new girl, Anna, is very, very good and a terrific addition to a great crew. Foodwise, we particularly LOVED the oyster and apple granita dish, along with the buratta salad. Oh, and the mini burgers with foie are absolutely delicious. Thanks again for a truly, lovely experience.

The best restaurant we’ve been to, maybe ever… The ambience is warm, inviting and romantic. Everything has been so well thought through. The lovely manager Alex was so knowledgable and attentive - he made the evening extra special. The food was exquisite - we had the panne con tomate, the burrata, the prawns, the scallops, the seared beef and the custard tart - all faultless. We can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. A real gem of a restaurant! If you’re in Tetbury you MUST go!

Very lovely tapas place, with great service and good wine. The vegetarian / vegetable dishes were however very light, and it wouldn't have been possible to fill up on three of these alone.

Felt so lucky to have chanced upon this place! Called to reserve a table half an hour before we decided to pop in for dinner. We had the perfect little table, the food was divine and I felt it was right for the price for the most part. But taking off one star for a few things: First, the patatas bravas were cooked nicely but waaay too salty. I took only a few bites–my potato-obsessed partner happily finished the serving. Second, we ordered the red prawns after seeing a photo of another reviewer below. What we got was far from what we expected (tinier?) but they were tasty nonetheless. Overall, the crispy aubergines and impeccable service are enough reasons for me to keep coming back.

In the area for a long weekend and just happened to find this restaurant. The decor was very quirky, and relaxing. Waiting staff were really helpful, giving us some excellent suggestions on choices of food and wine. The food was delicious. The Spanish omelette was one of the best I have ever eaten, especially with the chorizo dish. Would happily sit and try the whole menu if I could!

I don't mind a limited menu; often it's a virtue. However, many options here are overly seasoned and pricey for what you get. The Jamon is great, service attentive and beer is authentic.

Immediately recognised that we were from Argentina, (he is from Spain, but we are almost brothers) and it was very charming to speak with him. We felt like home for a bit. Staff super friendly. Nice ambience. Only 3 stars today because food good.. but not as good as it could be. .. I spend a lot of time in Spain, (so the bar is already set quite high).. these owners are obviously Spanish, so they know their stuff... .in my opinion the food needs to up its game for the price point.. main courses have starter size portions on the plate.. left feeling hungry even with starters and starters slighy overcooked + over salted. One main course pork chewy/ inedible and sent back 😫. See photo of main course octopus below. .. which was really delicious, but we got one leg.. where is the rest of it?

This was such a find- we only had one night in Tetbury & this restaurant was fantastic in every way. Favourites were the baked artichoke & aubergine chips! Such a different variety of dishes & the wines were superb too!! Bravo Lola!

Fabulous food and brilliant customer service

You clearly need to book at least a week in advance- late bookings are punished by being allocated to stools at the front on a 3 legged stool watching the owner and his family languishing in his comfy chair whilst you balance your food on your lap. Don't expect any reduction in price for eating in the corridor whilst the staff ask you to pass bottles of wine and water to them, you pay the same+ service charge!!! The food is excellent and as long as you are persistent you will be able to get your drink refilled and a dessert menu. ( we failed on that one). By far the best tapas bar in Tetbury. 😊

Lovely, atmospheric restaurant for an evening meal

We have always loved Lola & Co : both the Tapas and the Deli. The new chef is brilliant. Portion sizes improved now. We dined at Lola & Co twice this week! Fab authentic Tapas. The quality of the food, ambience and customer service are excellent. The friendly team could not be nicer. A real credit to the manager and owners- you can see the team love working at Lola and Co. and it makes for a great dining out experience. Highly recommended. 5+ stars 😁 can't wait for our next visit. 💕 Love it💕 and wish we lived nearer!

To be fair, the food is good but If service is a crucial part of dining in then this place has a lot to learn, definitely understaffed which is the owners problem, lack of attention to detail, lack of customer service (result of understaff). It is alright for a small place but to a frequent traveler it feel almost as if the management do not care about the quality of service.

This place is a rip off they laugh at the tourists charging them 3 times the amount that it should be. I Was on a road trip and stopped by a cute small town and decided to stop by to eat something and the bill ended up being over 100£ for 3 miserable dishes. It may look pretty but it’s not what u think it is.

First visit, just for a lunchtime snack and coffee under glorious sunshine in the courtyard garden. Excellent patatas bravas. Will definitely return. Also visited the adjoining deli, which is full of wonderful things. Excellent knowledgeable service. The bag we were given to carry away our purchases has proved to be the perfect playhouse for our kitten!

Just what Tetbury needed this stylish cosy Tapas is first class to any in London.....Offering exquisite courses and excellent Wines and Champagne....I'm privileged to have such an excellent Tapas on my door step...."highly recommend" a visit or two and step back into Spain for an evening ....
