Chilly Thursday late lunch and was so looking forward to this place. My husband visited here a year ago and kept promising me a visit, well worth the wait! Great ambiance, good music and very comfy chairs. Immediate service, thank you Barnaby, we were well cared for. Then the food started arriving, crispy squid WAS crispy AND tender and a LOT, the tempura aubergine melted in your mouth, pork sprinkled with paprika was smokey flavored, and the pil pil gambas was so garlicky, every dish was a winner. The wine was very nice also.

So refreshing to have a casual relaxing restaurant amongst all the gastropubs and white tablecloths. The only place to go for supper in Tetbury - Prices are a fraction over what they should be and the menu would be vastly improved with some larger sharing mains.
