We ended up at nice baps by chance looking for somewhere to have breakfast whilst passing through and my god, what a GEM! The food was so good, incredible value for money. But what really made the experience memorable was the owners. Warm and friendly doesnt even begin to cover it. We walked away after 10 minutes feeling like we'd known them 10 years. Truly a delight and topped off by the fact they proudly support local charities for the homeless and for women. We will be singing their praises all the way back to northamptonshire!

It was the perfect family day out lunch! I might be focus on the wrong thing: the chips and bread came with the mussels were the best I have ever had! Our 7 year old son enjoyed his fish and chip! The home made spotted dick was irresistible!

this pub is shut very poor reasons why told two different stories by different members of staff (or owners) do not attemt to go and you will not be disapointed looks like they have gone bust

What used to be a very nice, traditional old pub, has now become a small slice of Bristol or Shoreditch. Nothing now but 'hipster' vibes, decor, patrons, and looks and feels like student digs. The drinks choice is next to appalling. Your choices are craft ales or warm Guinness from a can. The place looks and feels like student digs. If it wasn't for the alcohol and stale ale smell the place would have the same aromas as an old gym or Emo concert. The pizza however, was fantastic.

Visited here on wed 2 june. Staying at nearby lanarth campsite. Lovely cosy pub with a warm welcome from the staff the memu was amazing and great choices for me being a veggie. The vegetable wellington delicious.. Three of us had a drink, main meal and dessert. Total 75 pounds which was extremely worth it... Would highly recommend and def visit again.

We've been before and we'll go again. The staff and service are brilliant and the food is the main reason we go. We have to stay for at least 3 nights to allow us to work through the menu. Locally sourced ingredients, good portion sizes, well cooked and accompanied by decent wines. Local beers are always a plus wherever I go. The hotel is in an old building and I wouldn't expect to find chain hotel uniformity. The beds are comfortable and the room warm in winter. I can be picky anywhere I go, believe me, but I can overlook imperfections if the overall experience is great, and this was great again.

Staff were thin on the ground in the cafe, we waited ages as they walked past us, seemingly ignoring, finally telling us to order at the till which we did £7 for a scotch egg with a piece of lettuce with a quarter of tomato and a salad as not much option for gluten free, the salad came in the tiniest bowl 3 inches across for £3.95 couu to isn’t even get the knife and fork in absolutely disgusting, tables and benches have seen better days, our family favourite has turned into an overpriced unfriendly place. Went to check out in the shop and the chap wanted my blue diamond card which I couldn’t find he was not happy having to look for postcode saying any other place wouldn’t do this, he made us empty wallets to search … felt like a criminal dreadful service!

We have been coming here for several years and always enjoy the food. All you can eat on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, we visited on Friday this time and paid £26.99 each, plus a decent bottle of wine for £20. AYCE is from their main menu with a large selection for each course. Our starters included chicken satay, ribs and salt and chilli squid and prawns. You can order more starters and only stipulation is that once you order mains you can’t go back to starters. Intermediate course of quarter duck and pancakes was a good size portion with plenty of accompaniments. Mains we chose sizzling beef, Malay chicken, garlic prawns and coconut prawns (we both love prawns), with rice and noodles. Everything arrived hot and portion size is perfect to enable you to sample a wider selection of dishes As always we really enjoyed our visit
