Nice Baps in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Basically a road side cafe in a lay-by. There are seats there and some under cover. To be honest at first I thought the food was a little on the expensive side but after eating it I would say it was definitely worth every penny. The chicken strip bacon and cheese bap was out of this world. Cooked to perfection with friendly staff. Only thing missing was a toilet

First time going here, first bap disintegrated after 1 bite so bought a hotdog instead which as soon as I picked it up it all fell oit the bottom of the bap again! So £16 for a coffee and left still hungry really dissappinting!

Perfect stop on the bike. A lush cheesy melty eggy bap and a decent cup of tea. Welcoming and nourishing especially on a gloomy February morning. Last decent stop if heading east.

Arrived minutes before closing time, was only offered fresh pasties from the oven, and they were very nice. I look forward to another earlier opportunity to taste their Baps. Stopped in again this morning for baps, both very tasty and good value. Another visit, still eggcellent! Yet another visit, always the BEST! Hard to better the already best!

Absolutely gorgeous venison burger & double cheeseburger. Strongly recommend this place to anyone - well worth a special visit, not just a stop in. Takeaway only.

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed our baps which were very well prepared. It's a shame that some customers cannot manage to put there rubbish in the bin provided as this sort of selfish behaviour will give Nice Baps a bad name!

Can't review the food as it wasn't open even though all the signs indicate it should've been. No sign to apologise at all for the inconvenience. I'm a trucker and planned my break for this stop to get refreshments and refill my flask. Sat in the layby for half hour break and you missed a tonne of business today fyi

Abso-bloody-loverly - food is outstanding, nice baps team are lush, great prices. Bought 3 baps full of gert proper ingredients, 3 hot drinks, a cookie and sweet snack which only came to around £20. Nothing to fault about this place, cheers from the hungry Bristol camper. Never give in to Costa, fight the power! 😊

There food is amazing i go every wednesday or the Odd thursday but i would highly recommend these guys and kev hes like family to me laura and staff are very lovely guys 100%

As their name says, i had one of my best burgers here.

Kevin is a delight. What a wonderful human to come across. His pastys were bloody delicious too. Holidays are about the people you meet. Although fleeting, we had a wonderful experience when we stopped by. Can't wait to get our car sticker on in perth Australia. Must stop by if you're in the area.

Proper tasty food and Kev was brilliant with the kids, an absolute character.

We stopped here on a whim as the kids were hungry, we'd promised them a pasty and my husband's attention was caught by the name......! So glad we did, top find and what a nice guy. This is anything but your average layby cafe, the staff were really friendly and the man who owns it (Kev) was so lovely with the children doing magic tricks and making them laugh. If we have to travel that route again we'll certainly take the time to stop off.....this time for brownies!

Everyone needs to go and visit Kevin, the proprietor of this fine establishment! Set in a layby, you wouldn't think anything of it, but the pasties are as big as my 10 year old's head, and the taste is just as big! Kevin provided ample entertainment while we waited for my 7 year old's sausage bap to be made, and if you go there just for a chat you won't be disappointed, the food won't either! Go visit Kevin and say hi from us (Lucas' family)!

We visited here on a recent holiday to Cornwall and I must say they are the best baps we’ve ever had. Also our first experience of a Cornish pasty was 10/10, so much so we had to revisit. What a great little spot.

Who doesn't love NICE BAPS?! Lovely circular Bap, soft to the touch, delicate detail with three things inside very eye pleasing 👀 Too big for one handed operation without compromising what a well treated bap can give a man! Sized to perfection! Can you bap it? YES I DID!

It's been a few years since I was up this way as I retired in 2020. We intend to make a trip to north Cornwall this spring and will definitely call in for a meal. On route to Truro breakfast AMAZING I'm not one for eating from roadside places bit the reviews are fab so had to try We had hotdogs at 10ish in morning I added extra cheese and wife had brown sauce instead of mustard/ketchup Ladies serving were fab Food was lush Would deffo recommend to a friend
