The perfect place for someone looking to smuggle decent pasties over the boarder. Has now become routine to stop here on the way out of Cornwall for frozen for friends or a hot treat for a long drive.

Nice pasties, competively priced, good value so worth a visit if you're around Scorrier at lunch time.

I like the uncooked items, lovely baked at home. Filled roll counter, not as good as usual. Only a couple of fillings available.

Great pasties and also bought a cream tea while there. Prices are reasonable and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. We had our Guide Dog puppy in training with us and he was accepted into the shop as well. Would recommend a visit

I was delivering nearby, and promised myself a visit after I was finished. Whilst I was being unloaded, I took a look at their website, and decided that I’d have a steak and Stilton, and I’d take a lamb and mint home for my girlfriend. When I arrived at the bakery, all that was on offer, in the way of pasties was steak or cheese and onion. I left a little disappointed.

Outstanding “fat” sausage rolls, pasty’s ate a very personal thing so not going into that. But there specialty sausage rolls are amazing, cheese chutney and sausage roll is my favourite, sweet chilli is a close second

Really nice Pasties, the Saffron Cake is nearly like homemade with no trace of turmeric for colouring, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Really well priced for pastys and other baked goods. Cakes are a bargain! Easily accessed from the Great Flat Lode Trail for coffee and a rest.

It is a great traditional bakery which has a superb shop outlet selling freshly made cakes and pasties. They also sell frozen, ready to cook pasties and other items for a real great price. I paid £10 for 4 giant steak pasties,which required warming through for 50 minutes on my return home. Their local Hevva cake is also very tasty.

Just simply fantastic products, very very reasonable prices and friendly helpful staff. Perfect!

The Mexican sausage roll is lush and so reasonably priced too. The staff member who served me was also lovely. 🙂

Great shop, busy little place so that shows the locals know where to get decent food and coffee. I bought frozen pasties and cooked them up at home. Delicious and a good price - my two favourite things!!

We went into prima bakeries and was pleasantly greeted by Saffie. She was a wonderful server and made the experience wonderful. She is polite, friendly and a credit to Prima. We loved the steak pasties but saffie made the experience better. Thanks saffie

Brilliant products and very helpful staff. I have just found out I may be wheat or gluten intolerant, so popped in to ask what they can suggest or offer if this is the case. Very helpful on initial advice, Spelt flour (Spelt & Honey Loaf they sell) or Rye bread (don't currently sell). Thank you for helping in my intolerance curve xx

Bombay Potato Pasties!! The finest taste ever!

I am a pasty expert. Born in Cornwall. Living in London, I have ordered from a number of providers and wondered if I would ever eat a decent pasty again. Then EUREKA ! Prima pasties. They are packed full of flavour with wonderful ingredients. Moist with the most wonderful pastry. What ever you do Prima, dont change the recipe its perfect. Delivered to me in London. I dont miss home quite as much.

After a recommendation from a good friend , My wife and i tried them out today whilst on a short visit down at my favourite place to visit / getaway and i have to say wow x just wow. Filling was spot on ,nice n peppery , filling my freezer bag tomorrow for journey back home. Will be returning next year upon my annual visit to the cornwall golden coast

Wow, what a great choice, lots of different flavour pasties & a great selection of cakes, breads & drinks. Will be calling back there again to buy more and some frozen pasties to take home to South Wales.

We always visit here to get frozen pasties and different bits and bobs. You can't go wrong for £5 for 4 frozen steak pasties! The coffee and cakes are good too. Well worth a visit.

Fab range of food, unfortunately they ran out of sausage rolls, but that just shows how popular they are.

Always a great choice of produce, & pasties to die for. Whenever I'm in Redruth area I always call at prima; their freezer pasties for home baking are outstanding.

I saw the Cornish logo and wanted to buy local assuming it would be fresh. Their bread rolls are are all long life rubbish, pumped full of chemicals and E numbers. Same with their cakes. Very disappointed. At least supermarkets offer fresh.

Winner! Prima’s saffron cake is amazing! Cornish saffron cake seems to have been getting very dry in texture and unappetising for years, and I have been searching for 3 decades to find one that replicates what I remember having from a Cornish bakery when I was a child on holiday. When I bought Prima’s version, I didn’t hold out much hope except it had won awards. The result? Oh wow! It tastes moist, flavoursome and, finally, I can stop searching. If I could only eat one saffron cake for the rest of my life, it’d be Prima’s. It deserves every awards going. I went back and bought more saffron cakes on the way home (2 as gifts, for family members of Cornish origin who were equally impressed are now Prima fans too). I was tempted by the Belgian buns, Hevva cake, and the Cheddar Cheese & Red Onion Chutney Gourmet Sausage Roll too. They were also really tasty. What a top notch bakery! It is full with lots of goodies and choice - fresh and frozen. Definitely worth a visit and only minutes off the A30.

I order my pasties via the Cornish Pasty store. I always choose Prima. I have never had a bad pasty. Great delivery time. I ordered on a Monday and they were delivered on Tuesday morning.

We had saffron buns that were tasty. I expected a bit more variety in pastries.

We have used this bakers for years and our fave place for pasties but sadly today all four large pasties had very little meat in them. Hopefully just a one off bad day !
