Nice few hours playing cards at a table whilst enjoying great wine and snacks in a lovely atmosphere. Great selection of wine to try and buy.

An absolutely gem of a bar with fabulous Cornish charcuterie to accompany. Padstow Gin is sublime but also on offer a brilliant offer of hand selected beer and cider, but best of all the cocktails all presented absolutely beautifully. Couple that with an incredible competitively wine shop that offers drink in options on all bottles with probably the best value drink in mark up.. no more paying £30+ for a bottle of unbranded house slop or cheap Prosecco . I’d definitely recommend the South African sparkling:) We ALWAYS buy a bottle to take home. The Stepper Point gin is the best we ever drank . The staff are so friendly and expertly knowledgable without making you feel like a dullard. Chilled atmosphere away from the Stein crowds and all day breakfast brigade. Bliss (also fabulous virgin cocktails on offer too!)

Beautiful location with stunning quality of staff. Defined the word hospitality and kept the good vibes flowing. In terms of spirits all are of the highest quality, I am completely satisfied with what I have consumed, the Raspberry Belle is especially delightful. I could not recommend more, and exemplary establishment within Cornwall.

It was a wonderful evening at 17 Duke street. The Heart of the Padstow Gin. But it is not just the products that are served and sold here. This place creates an very inviting atmosphere and the host and service were nice. They know their drinks, they know how to inform and recommend and their knowledge around the spirits is just amazing. I can fully recommend to enjoy some drinks here, be delighted by Padstow's finest spirits and one thing you definitely CANNOT miss are those lovely brownies! Greetings from Germany. We popped in twice for glasses of their very good (Philliponat) champagne. Convivial, friendly, relaxed vibe. We didn't eat, but their cheese and charcuterie looked fantastic. We also bought some bottles wine from their well curated selection. If I lived there, I would be a regular!

Friendly and hospitable welcome. A couple of bottles of Whispering Angel and some very tasty Cornish cheese and charcuterie. A most relaxing evening. Do go if in Padstow for a few days.

Welcoming atmosphere, wide selection of drinks available. Friendly staff, offering suggestions when requested ! Navy Gin an absolute winner. Snacks wonderful - charcuterie, cheese, olives and truffle nuts. Pre- dinner drinks, or a night out in itself, great bar. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely spot for a glass of wine or cocktail. We wandered in after dinner and is was a nice end to a lively evening. Staff were super, wine selection amazing.,, as was the espresso martini. Keep up the good work

My wife had wine and summer cocktails and I tried the reds - both were excellent . On one occasion we had the charcuterie and the cheese. Couldn't fault anything - good service in a relaxed atmosphere

This is a little gem of a place for a pre dinner drink or just when you fancy treating yourself to something special. Always a friendly host to greet you definitely worth a visit .

David and Sarah are extremely friendly and welcoming. Their knowledge of the different wines and cocktails are superb! We love the cocktails, especially the bloody Mary’s. The level of service offered at 17 duke street is the best we’ve ever experienced. We will be returning like we do every year .

In my opinion a must visit when in Padstow. My husband and I had a beer flight each then chose our favourite for an additional pint. We also had a tasty crab sandwich and were pleased to see they had extended their food offerings (although the cheese board we have had before is also very good). The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable and the on site shop is useful too !!

This is a delightful little bar tucked away in Padstow town, serving a carefully considered range of cocktails and wines (or a coffee, if you prefer) with a small selection of cheese, breads and cold meats. The owner, David, is a wonderful host who also happens to be the creator of the fabulous Padstow gin and vodka that he sells in the bar, with which he makes a mean martini! Booking is recommended.

I can't recommend 17 Duke Street highly enough. Super classy, but not at all stuffy, this is my only choice for a drink in Padstow - or even just coffee. The owner David is very passionate about his range of gin and spirits - made from barley farmed just outside Padstow. Having a background in wine, he's also excellent at choosing the wine range too. The gin is superb - the original Padstow Gin especially. And I'd recommend trying the rhubarb vodka too. David and the staff are all lovely, and highly skilled cocktail makers. It's warm, cosy and contemporary.

This place is an absolute must if you are visiting Padstow, not only do they have a wonderful range of gins and impressive collection of wines, they also boast a fabulous cocktail menu! If you have not visited already, you really must!

A wonderful bottle shop and bar with a brilliantly curated selection of wines to take home or to drink in (and the standard corkage, whatever the price of the wine is refreshing). And great gin. And lovely cocktails. David is passionate and knowledgeable and it's just a lovely space to spend time and have a drink (or three).

Really lovely local Gin served in a fabulous gem of a place. Not room for more than about 15 people but 1st class service and quality gin and selection of fine wines! Make sure you're within walking distance of home or order a taxi! Perfect

Just spent a couple of fabulous hours here sampling over 20 wines as part of a Christmas Wine tasting experience. Excellent value for money and David was a welcoming and informative host. The shop/wine bar is small but well laid out. A great mix of gin and wines for all budgets can be found here. Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Padstow.

Amazing wine bar. The guy who (I assume) runs it is really friendly and helpful. We had the two wines they had by the glass, which were some of the best wines I’ve had and very reasonably priced for the quality. There are three booths which are comfortably socially distanced from each other whilst still feeling like you are in a bar. Highly recommended.
