Premier Inn Wadebridge hotel in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Had a lovely one night stay on 22nd March for our family of 4 in two rooms. Standard family room was spotless, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the service was exceptional even though they were short staff with no chef on the sat night but the restaurant still produced lovely presented meals from their lesser set menu. Would definitely stay again. Yvonne & Tony

Room was comfy and clean; location was perfect, local to amazing beaches. HOWEVER, 90% of the staff working here were completely unwelcoming and unfriendly. One particular younger staff member was incredibly rude- consistently. I cannot fathom how there are not more complaints regarding staff. We were nothing but polite, did not bother staff- We simply checked in, ordered drinks one evening (as did others) and ordered bar snacks on another night. It has definitely put me off booking here again, it felt as though we were unwanted guests in somebodies home, not paying customers.

The room itself was like most Premiere Inn hotels; good size room and bathroom with well-functioning amenities; TV WIFI and kettle with coffee and tea For some reason hot water was not available in the sink, only in the shower 🤔 🤔 🤔 The hotel restaurant was not available

Short staffed, but those on duty, especially in the evening were brilliant! A reduced menu, but cooked well.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful . There were only two of them on duty Donna and Jade well done both of you.

Upon arrival we were informed about a reduced menu due to a problem with the chef not being able to make it in to work. We're all human, these things happen. Donna and Jade were the only two on duty, one running food, taking orders and checking guests in, the other cooking all the food for the residents. Both have been working flat out but have remained cheerful and considerate of the guests. We're only human and these two have demonstrated the best that people in hospitality and be!

Great location, only 10 to 15 minutes away from Padstow. Breakfast was good, only a small place but perfect for a stopover which is what we used it for.

We've just had a 2 night stay here. What a great experience. As always with premier inn, check in was straight forward and we had a friendly welcome. Our room was clean, warm and comfortable. The bed was great! The room was quiet overnight. Everything we needed was in the room and we picked up decaff coffee in reception with extra milk. We decided to purchase the meal deal, which was great value for money. The thyme restaurant is in the lobby of the hotel. Its nicely designed, clean and welcoming. There was a decent choice on the menu. We couldn't fault the food. It was delicious, cooked really well and nicely presented. Portion sizes were good. Same with breakfast, all you can eat and plenty of choice. It was all perfect. We would definitely recommend this hotel, the location is good for exploring cornwall and we will be staying again in the future.

Stayed here for 3 nights while working in the area. No problems with anything 👌

Stayed for two nights and pre payed with meal deals. Rooms very nice clean and fresh. Oddly the sink had no hot water while shower was very hot. Breakfast very nice and staff really friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone. Evening meal first night we waited while people who ordered the same as us and had arrived after us received their food first. To be fair the staff did apologise a mix up with the tickets and printer fault, when the food finally arrived it was very tasty. Second night my order was completely wrong instead of a beef burger I got a chicken burger which was very greasy tasted as if it had been reheated. Staff were very attentive, offering to replace it but I wanted to eat the same time as my husband. I know that pensioners like us, disabled diabetic are often mistaken for drunk, but being ignored then served the wrong food was not pleasant for us.
