Incredible ice cream! Exciting flavour options. I have apricot and brandy which was beautiful.

£1.99 for a Toddlers cone (3 inch tall cone with a melon baller size scoop of ice cream). Utterly outrageous con. I wouldnt have the nerv to sell that to people and more so expect them to pay for it!

Regularly visit Tall ships a couple of times a week on my daily walk to Charlestown. Have always found the service to ok but not particularly welcoming. Waited a long time today in queue which was fine, great that they’re busy but for then a member of staff to jump in, in front of me and order her cheese pasty demonstrated how much my custom meant! Coffee stop taken nearby instead where we felt very valued.

Good coffee shop. Plenty of choice for drinks and food. Seating area outside with tables and parasols. The shop is really good for ice cream and traditional sweets etc. Good pricing. We will see you again.

Gorgeous home made ice cream with lots of lovely flavours to choose from. Craig was welcoming and let us sample a flavour before we bought one. Highly recommend tall trees creamery.

Nice scones in Charlestown, it’s outside area so seats might be wet.

The prices are far to high for what you get. This is rip off Cornwall at its finest, and I'm a local saying this.

Had a cream tea there. Horrible. The scone was microwaved & crumbled away. Couldn’t spread the jam & cream on with out it in bits. It was very dry. I really disappointed it came in a cardboard box no plate & how can you call a cream tea without a pot of tea. Instead had a tea in paper cup which was awful. Plus no fruit in the scone.

A great classic Cornish pasty! Would definitely recommend the travel to Charlestown in general but you should definitely come here for the pasty!

Extortionate prices for tiny balls (about the size of a golf ball) of ice cream served at a snails pace, the ice cream is ok.

My little grandson is dairy intolerant, thanks to you he can still have an ice cream when visiting Charlestown, which at 3 years old, is so special. Thanks again

I recommend the Blue Sea Monster flavour! Sooo good! The staff were very friendly and helpful too. The owner has been making homemade ice cream for 18 years! 🍦😋

Friendly staff and nice cream tea.

Lovely scone (moist and just a bit crumbly as they should be) and carrot cake. Very welcome on a damp and muddy walk.

Lovely pasty we all enjoyed today on a rainy day. Will be back tomorrow 🙂

Best cheese pasty I’ve had in years !

Bought a tea, coffee with a syrup, piece of lemon drizzle and banana cake, took ages to get, with no que, when received coffee was luke warm, cake awful. Very expensive considering outside cost £16. Wouldn't recommend or go again 😕

Food great. Service quite slow. Other customers got a bit grumpy with wait so atmosphere a bit fraught. Very difficult for disabled customer to navigate and as the menu boards seem to be all over the place I found it a bit confusing. Only one vegan option; a fabulous pie. Quite expensive for a bacon roll, a vegan pie and 2 coffees, but that may just be the times we live in

Delicious homemade ice cream, rich and creamy!

Had a bacon and sausage roll and a coffee which was excellent . Great , hot latte and well filled tasty roll . Decided to have a home made steak pasty on the way back . The owner had baked them fresh . Have to say , if all the Cornish pasties we’ve had this was definitely the best . Beautiful pastry and very tasty filling . Look forward to the next one . Thanks .

It was a rainy day when we visited for an afternoon snack. Was very disappointed in the waffle... I'm used to waffles being light and airy but this was very much like a scone Quite disappointed but if that it what you like then the waffles are good for you but not for me.

The best ice cream I have ever had - proper creamy and the shop is ran by a friendly sweet couple. The lady spends her life making all the icecreams and pasties herself - definitely recommend!

Very average. Nice bacon bap & good price but I asked for crispy bacon & didn’t get it! The service system is also a bit confusing.

Slightly pricy ice cream scoop, waffle isn’t fresh (tasted from a packet) and is definitely expensive/overpriced. Bit of a tourist trap IMO.

Wow! If your a ice cream lover your spoilt for choice and certainly taste. We ordered a kaskelots sea salt and caramel and a banana and kiwi ice cream and have never enjoyed one so much, creamy, full of flavour ice cream you will get, I can see why it's award winning, absolutely wonderful, we then decided to order a steak pasty and a large slice of fruit cake which both looked mouth watering, it did not disappoint! The pasty was beautifully seasoned and crammed with large chunks of steak and potatoes and season veg, a beautiful and award winning pasty which after tasting I could see why, the fruit cake too was lovely and moist, crammed with fruit and cherries a delight! And above all served with a lovely smile and helpful staff, well done to you all, anyone visiting, give this lovely place a visit well worth it! Also check out the waffles too they are delicious.

Small batch homemade ice cream, made by husband and wife. The kiwi and banana is award winning for a reason, it's amazing and I want to go back and buy the whole tub 😂

A wide range of ice cream flavours - good quality too.

Looking for a meal and found this beautiful outdoor spot . A delicious steak and ale pie , with mash , peas and gravy. The young lady who served me was lovely , very sincere , accommodating and exacting . Highly recommend .

Bang average pasty, the chocolate milkshake was extremely disappointing & all at an expensive price. Also had the joy of the company of a few wasps whilst sitting outside. There didn’t appear to be any toilets around, but to be honest this is something I wasn’t looking for. Staff are friendly enough.

If ever you're in Charlestown, do yourselves a favour and stop by Tallships Creamery. The pasties are worth it, way nicer than the ones in the supermarket! My terrible photo probably does this pasty no justice, but it was absolutely fantastic.

Very nice( and very hot!) Americano coffee and decaffeinated oat milk flat white. Plenty of seating with parasols which was welcome on such a hot afternoon. Nice to see some different flavours of ice cream. Pineapple was a great choice. And lemon was particularly refreshing. Great selection of cones too.

Absolutely DO NOT entertain having a cream team here. Ruined our cream tea experience on our cornish holiday. Tall Ships Creamery should be ashamed of the dismal excuse for a cream tea. Looking back on the many reviews,this appears to be an ongoing problem which has not been addressed.....instead they have increased the price to £7.95 from a year ago from when it cost £5.50 . We suggest Tall Ships Creamery remove this product from their menu as they are not listening to their customers!

Lovely local bakery, ice cream, coffee and fudge shop in the center of Charlestown. Nice staff. Pre-packaged treats to stick in suitcase as gifts. Really good ice cream flavors.

We had some really nice pasties here today, and the people were very kind and helped us sort out our internet! Visiting just for the day we didn’t realise how little connection there is in the village, and we couldn’t connect to Google maps to make our way back home, luckily they helped us out! Thank you! 🙏

Visiting from out of town and the staff were so lovely and welcoming, answering all my touristy questions on a cold Sunday morning! Delicious well priced coffee with milk alternatives and plenty of seating! Highly reccomend!

Courteous staff and fantastic options on food & drink. Lovely location too right on the harbour. The homemade ice cream flavours are amazing.

Absolutely astonishing range of menu items. Superb pasties and pies - unbelievably good. Will be back with kids for the milkshakes & ice creams.

The banana peanut butter smoothie was outstanding, as was the gingerbread hot chocolate; the cookie on the top was a nice touch. Cornish pasties are made fresh daily and cleared cheap at the end of the day. Warm and welcoming service.

A five minute wait for cappuccino that was made without the actual coffee being added, a five minute wait to return it, a five minute wait for a replacement and then a further five minute wait after being presented with someone else's Latte in error. 20 minutes... my wife had finished her coffee and was ready to go by the time I finally sat down ! Couple the serving fiasco to the coffee being mediocre at best, and the £3.25 price-tag for a bantam weight 200ml "large" serving... (yes, I measured it). Hopeless. I only give them 1 star because I can't leave a no star review.

No scone available for cream tea at 3.30pm. Lemon drizzle only fit for the dog - lemon hadn't soaked into the cake. Very disappointing.

Sat outside for cream tea which came in a cardboard box, pre packed tub of jam and cream, no plate and a plastic spoon. Tea was in a paper cup. Not the best way to present such an iconic treat. The one scone fell to pieces the second I tried to spread anything. To my mind loads of unnecessary packaging which cups and saucers , a plate and metal knives could have avoided? At £15 for two a bit overpriced. Disappointed.

One of the best mochas I’ve ever had!

Great little place, had everything you need for a quick drink and bite to eat. I had the “Death by chocolate” which was really good. We also took a plain waffle with maple syrup which I found was way too sweet, definitely needed some cream or ice cream.

Amazing clotted cream ice-cream. Very tasty, definitely recommend this to every visitor.

Really disappointed that a cream tea was served in a box with a plastic knife. Our last day and we were really looking forward to this so wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Tea also in paper cups and un drinkable .

Great selection of hot chocolate selections to choose from along with other hot and cold drinks. We didn’t try food options but but there is a selection of pies, pasties, cakes and cream tea to try if hungry. I liked the hot chocolate but have had nicer ones.

Cornish coffee is lovely! Such a great choice of hot drinks, cakes, savoury snacks, ice cream etc. Very friendly, very clean and a nice little area to sit and enjoy.

Popped in for a coffee and were served by a very efficient team and, even though served in takeaway cups, I thought the coffee tasted superb. Coconut macaroons were delicious too. Steady stream of visitors showed it to be popular and you can see why.

Overpriced. Very slow service. Non care attitude from staff who just seems to want to have a laugh rather than do their jobs. Shame as it lets the whole place down. Would give no stars if I could.

They do some really lovely scones, cream tea and hot chocolate and have a lovely array of sweets.

Probably the best Ice Cream in Cornwall.

Great ice cream, lovely and creamy. The queue doesn't move particularly quickly so bare this in mind. Happily have this ice cream again.

Lovely hot chocolate and waffles to get you started for the day. Nice view down to the harbour but I gave 4 stars as there was no undercover seating. Benches have holes for umbrellas but they were missing. Fine on a nice day but when its drizzling an umbrella would be good.

It's a different pace of life in Cornwall, bear that in mind.... If you see more than 2 people ahead of you in the queue, maybe give it a miss. Our parking ticket actually ran out whilst we waited, as our order had been lost in the plethora of 3 orders! Having said that, when the drinks were eventually made, they were hot and tasty.

Absolutely love Tall Ships Creamery! We visit here after a long walk and I look forward to my coffee and cake! Coffee is so nice and the cakes are to die for!! My little boy gets so excited for his treat too, babychino and home made ice cream! Always clean and staff are so helpful :)

Little little take away service near the museum and port. We were lucky as we weren't there on a busy day but there was still plenty of customers. Lovely pasty and cream tea served as a take away which I didnt mind as it felt more hygenic in these times than plates etc and a nice seating area outside which was quite suprising to be able to sit outside in November. The little extra expense was worth it for the friendly service and fab food local to an attraction.

Lovely place to visit. The food is perfect, ice cream is just amazing and the staff and are just brilliant here. Plus its a gorgeous place to walk around!! Myself and my family highly recommend!!

Pasty, sausage roll, scone and Victoria sponge all beautiful. Only complaint is that I was told by my partner that he prefers Tallships Victoria sponge and mine needs improving! All it was amazing and service was lovely will definitely be back

Lovely absolutely lovely Ice cream. Came here on our visit to Cornwall last year and was definitely on our to do list this time round. The cut throat cherry ice cream is just delicious. Lovely ice cream, lovely staff. Certainly worth a visit.

Just stopped here to grab a coffee after a couple of hours sightseeing before continuing on up country and we were served by a polite and friendly team. They were happy to whip up an iced coffee with oat milk (great that they had it but more so that they could make a drink not on the menu) and did so with a smile. The only negative is that it did seem to take a little while to produce the two drinks but it’s not Starbucks (thank goodness) so it’s not the end of the world.

Don’t waste your money here. Rubbish cream tea. Dry cheap scone with a small pot of jam and cream (may I add the jam and clotted cream were lovely), nowhere near worth the £5.50 paid. Iced coffee was rubbish too. Easily the worse I’ve had. Wouldn’t come back. Service isn’t anything to write home about either. And nor should I be compelled to take my personal views to a member of staff. I’m entitled to share my opinion with other google users. Not a problem with paying £5.50 either for what I received, as written it’s not WORTH the amount paid. Most rubbish scone I’ve had in my life. That’s my opinion and take it how you like.

A poor introduction to Cornwall. Let me preface this by saying I am Cornish but no longer live local so this comes from the perspective of both a local and now more recently a visitor. I dipped in for my cream tea fix before I made my way back up country. On the plus side; ordering was easy enough and the staff were very pleasant. However; the cream tea itself left a lot to be desired. The scone had the structural integrity of sand and was basically impossible to spread jam/cream on without it falling to bits. I appreciate a crumbly scone but this was ridiculous. Furthermore the price was quite high, I felt, for what I got. £5.50 for one scone, a small pot of jam and cream and a cup of tea. Had it been two scones I felt the price would of been justifiable, even then though I would have been disappointed due to the afore mentioned mediocre quality. In short. While it wasn't horrible it certainly didn't leave me feeling like I had got something of value for my money and was a bit of a let down. I would advise trying somewhere else instead

A bit disappointed with the ice cream. Exotic flavours are advertised, but ours had very little flavour of anything, and bits of water ice in the mix. Also very expensive. Could be good, but I think quality control is missing.

This must be the worst coffee we have ever tried. Didn't complain but it looked like a mixture of tea and coffee.

Awful cream tea. Covid is no excuse for tea in a paper cup , scone, cheap tub of sealed cream and travel lodge jam served in a cardboard chip tray. If you lessen the product, lessen the price!

Northern so not welcome in shop...

Would have visited but now feel so unwelcome as the owner only wants visitors from in county - as stated on BBC Spotlight news on Wednesday - to her shop. Ironically she wants to be open and make money though - surely there is a correlation between visitors and making money... you can’t expect Cornish visitors to prop up your whole business.

I was enjoying my ice cream until I saw the BBC spotlight news article. The ice cream turned bitter and sour. The owner would rather only be open to local people, therefore they will be left with a lot of ice cream to eat them self. I’ll take my love for holidaying in Cornwall else where.

Came across this place at the top of town, amazing ice cream could not recommend it enough! Honeycomb was the best.
